My sister and I took our Mum here for high tea on Mother's Day. The services was amazing with all staff going above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. The food was tasty and there was loads of it so even though it wasn't super cheap, you got what you paid for. They even got the chef to individually price the cakes so that my sister could purchase some to take home. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a fancy afternoon.
The food and service was excellent as always and all the staff make you feel welcome to a point that it is almost like home.
Portion and serving sizes were small (especially given price). Confit Chicken was bland. Dessert tasted bland, icy and akin to store brought product (like it was pre-prepared a while back). Meat was cooked well and the Red Wine Jus was lovely. Overall service was great too, although I cannot justify returning.
Best quality meal in a long time. Plenty of table service. Timely delivery of meal/courses. Price is reasonable for quality and size of meal. I would recommend and I am likely to return in the future.

It's all about perfectly cooked and chargrilled steak, but don't skip the entrees. Masterfully cooked with bags of flavour. Our picks were the cured salmon and pork belly.

Had my wedding anniversary dinner but it turns out disappointed with the overly burnt Wagyu with half of it was fat strip not fat marble. Then been told it is a blend of Angus and Wagyu so you get the fat strip but right half of it was a thick fat strip! . Offered free dessert but the manager attitude was like "this is the way it is take it or leave it". We had our wedding dinner 5yrs ago at this restaurant services and food were great but now is very disappointing. Not going again. The waiter served us was not even smiling or felt like to spent the time talking to us. Dropped the menu without a word and gone!
We had wagyu steak , moreton bay bug and they were cooked perfectly.
Great ambience and service.
Food was decent, if on the slightly expensive side. But the service was minimal. Great for dates if you don’t want to get disturbed. But otherwise there are better places to go.

Didn't rate this at all for the price. Felt like we were eating in a food court. Steak was decent however sides were just average along with the grilled Moreton bay bugs. Wine over priced.

Our Company booking for a 10 of table for dinner was eagerly awaited. Unfortunately, there were a number of hit & misses - the table was located perfectly, so that was a plus. Having owned a silver service restaurant in Melbourne, the one thing I do know about is food and service. The food was nice but certainly not WOW! which for the Hilton you do expect. The young lass attending our table was pleasant enough but still needed some grounding. Our General Manager, the host for the evening, had 2 drinks he ordered totally forgotten, the sides he ordered were forgotten, he is normally a fairly forgiving man but said the mushroom sauce was the worst he had ever tasted. Others around the table had similar lack of service and when I ordered the Bombe for dessert, not a blow torch or browning in sight. It was not a hectic night on the Thursday night. The one thing I as particularly annoyed at was that because it was obviously a quieter night, that 2 of the more senior staff elected to start setting up for breakfast service while our table was still completing their evening at 9:00 PM - that was just so so rude - that equivalent of calling for last drinks. I trust you will take this review in the manner in which it is intended, because it was simply not good enough on the night. Thank you.

Our booking at Vintaged Bar & Grill was meant to be a celebration of my wife & I being married for 36 years. We had booked a weekend away in Brisbane & chosen a restaurant to appropriately celebrate, imagine our surprise when we arrived for our 2 pm booking only to be told that the restaurant was closed & our booking was down as high tea!
At no time in the booking process was there mention of High Tea or in fact the restaurant being closed, a weekend away ruined by not being able to celebrate.
I would not now recommend your booking site or the restaurant based on my very disappointing experience.
Service was very slow, food not up to usual standard, glasses were dirty. I used to go here quite a bit for work / team lunches. I don't think I will after this last visit....

We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary and had a lovely meal. Given we are getting a little older it was really nice to be able to speak to each other during the meal as the noise level was not to high. Thank you for a lovely night.
The $29 lunch menu had great choice and complementary wine, the staff were attentive efficient.Complementary mini macrons and chocolates arrived with our coffee. Fabulous touch to our special occasion.

The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, the staff were friendly and professional, the service was excellent and the food and wine was very good, served promptly. Altogether a wonderful experience for a special occasion dinner.
The quality of the food was pretty bad, I asked for no bacon and no onion rings in my burger and it still came with them. Someone else ordered a $55 steak which was a piece of meat with a wedge of lemon and a tablespoon of some sprouts, no veggies/salad/sides which you get elsewhere for a fraction of the price.
Excellent service, wine list for days and outstanding food. Not cheap but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Food was exceptional quality and the service was 5 star. Very friendly.
The breakfast options are buffet or al a carte. We decided on the al a carte menu as it was my sister’s birthday. We both ordered the big breakfast and the buttermilk pancakes with honeycomb cream. in my opinion, the food was not made to order and we suspected that the food came from the buffet. This was disappointing as we were expecting higher quality dishes from the menu.

The restaurant is nice enough and situated in a prime location right in the heart of Brisbane. I went went with my wife for dinner because I was looking for a good steak. I ordered the Wagyu steak medium rare and expected a tender, juicy cut of beef. Sadly, the expectation did not meet reality. My steak was medium to medium-well and lacking flavor. I usually prefer a steak without any additional toppings. Salt and pepper should be enough seasoning, but I found myself needing to use the red wine sauce that came with it to add both flavor and moisture to the steak. Just not worth the $50+ price tag.
That being said, my wife ordered the pork chop which was nice and we ordered a side of the carrots which were also very nicely prepared. The service was good, waitstaff was attentive and polite. Overall I would say it’s a nice place for a glass of wine, but find somewhere else if you’re looking for a good steak.

We had the $35 Lunch Special - two courses, entree and main! I had the steak tartare, and barra on pea risotto and my friend had salmon salad, and grilled miso eggplant - all meals were divine!
Service was friendly and efficient. Surrounds were relaxed and comfortable.
