Everything Was great
Family friendly atmosphere with gourmet quality dishes! Outstanding wine selections at reasonable prices. The service is second to none! Great for special occasions.
No fault of the restaurant, the customers who had our table before us took awhile. Forty minutes after the reservation, we had our table. They did offer bread, etc. to us while we waited at the bar. Great service. Great food.
Too loud. Server brought wrong dish, added wrong dish to bill and forgot salad too. We will inly go back in summer if we do, and eat outside requesting a different server.
Very cute place.Food was good. The entertainment was great. Fun time. Good clean fun band
We have never been disappointed by our meal or the very attentive staff. We brought friends tonight and they were excited to discover our local italian gem. We are planning on coming back next weekend.
Food very good, we went on an opera night...didn’t know until the day before...hard to talk at times, otherwise would return, large menu also. Something for everyone.
we where going to see tony ocean . but in stead a female singer replace him . she did an out standing job
The food was decent, however the service left something to be desired. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, one appetizer, and 2 entrees, and were there for over 2 1/2 hrs! We got our drinks fairly promptly, but waited 1/2 hr for our appetizer, then another 1/2 hr for our soup and salad. After finishing those, it was again another 1/2 hr wait for our 2 entrees— a pasta dish and a pork dish, and I had to ask the waiter for those! 3 other tables near us had the same problem. I asked the manager if there was a kitchen problem or a server problem. He said he would check. A little while later he brought us a comped dessert, but no explanation. All that, plus how ridiculously loud it is there(including the entertainer who sings way to loudly for a small room) equals a one and done dining experience.
This family owner restaurant is one of the best. The owners are wonderful and always very thoughtful and accommodating. We love going to dine here and often take the family.
Great place and entertainment with Vito Zatto!
Excellent food and our waiter was great. He was professional and attentive.
It was a special occasion (Birthday), was very disappointed when nothing was mentioned. We dine at least 3 times per month and this was the first time that I server was not around to refill our drinks. We asked 3 times for refill on our bread and never received it. We brought 2 very important people in our lives from out of town. Our food took a while and once we received it, food was just warm. Our server was busy with other tables and we couldn’t get his attention. This is the first time we ever walked out disappointed.
Food was excellent. Service was very good and servers worked as a team helping each other when needed. Entertainment was excellent but a little loud for me. We will be returning here.
Awesome meal. Great service.
At the beginning everything was good until we had our wine glasses empty for a long time and I had to ask someone to pour some more because no one asked if we’ll like some more we didn’t got offered desert the waiter did not came back until I asked for the check and I really hope it wasn’t because we are Latinos cuz he kept going to every table around asking how was everything if the need anything else but never at our table
We went to see the band Soda but were very pleased with the quality of the food and service.
Great food and service.
Birthday celebration ! It was awesome great service ! Great food!
Great food and service! They always deliver a great meal and a great price, and very reasonable wine prices!
Had a great dinner out with family here. Walked into an unfamiliar restaurant that had great reviews online and they really delivered. Grilled calamari appetizer was great. The entrees were great too. Awesome tortellini, ravioli, & gnocchi.
The live music was an added bonus! I initially thought it would be too loud to enjoy dinner but wow they singers were busting out 70s hits that really sunk deep and made for a lively evening.
Waitress didn’t bring everyone soup. My meal wasn’t correct so she put potatoes and spinach in a small plate that was already on the table for bread than much later returned with the correct order. One person meal was supposed to be on risotto it looked like rice soupy not creamy like risotto should be. That person couldn’t eat it. So they gave us 2 free deserts. Overall experience poor
Our server was awesome and very attentive. Loved the unexpected "live music" They where outstanding and would come seeing them again - Breezeway Chicago, I believe was their name?
Food is great atmosphere is old school Italian. They had nice lady singing all the old tunes and some new ones. Made for a great date night. The food always lives up to expectation except every now and then they may have an off night on the calamari.
Food is always amazing. The staff and service are fantastic. Lately, they have offered live music of extremely good quality. I can’t a better place on any night, but Friday’s and Saturday’s are special
WAs excellent.
Food was very flavorful, wine, coffee and dessert too. Tomato bread and sundried tomatoes and olives to start were all delicious. Highly recommend.
Amazing bread, pizza bread, sun dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese & kalamata olives they bring to each table before you order. Everything was very fresh and delicious! The lamb chops were a special that night, so I ordered them. There were 5 and they were fantastic! I couldn't eat them all. They gave us lemon sherbet to clean the pallette before the main entree. It was very unexpected and was like going to a 5 star restaurant. Will bring more family & friends there soon.
Always a great experience at this restaurant.
Excellent food, and the service is outstanding
This place is great! Service is awesome.
I found the food to be mediocre at best. Nothing special.
Our second visit was as great as the first. Pretty decent wine list for a "strip mall restaurant". Don't let the location fool you - Villaggio is serious about food. The brothers really know how to prepare the Italian classics, and how to create one-of-a-kind specials to delight all types of diners. Outstanding to have so many gluten free options to choose from. We have tried Frutti di Mare, Lobster Ravioli, and a pasta with sausage & mushrooms (name escapes me) - all were amazing. Also had a special salad big enough to share between two persons - octopus w/celery and giardiniera, oil & vinegar - ridiculously good. Filiberto served us with magnificent recommendations on both wine and menu items. They even have some limited outdoor dining (too hot the evening we were there), with a beautiful flower and herb garden, which we may try in the future. Looking forward to our next visit - next time with friends!!
We love this restaurant. The food is excellent and we always feel like family. Christina is the best. Makes us feel like she has been waiting g for us to come back. It is our FAVORITE restaurant by far
Amazing place for a date or a family time. It is great place and great food.
Wonderful food at a great value. Grilled salmon is amazing. Go for the food but stay for entertainment. Beth Haines is amazing!
It was a Friday night and there was a very good singer but it was loud. The food was outstanding. The cavatappi with sausage and spinach was to die for. We will be back!
Great local Italian place with friendly staff.
Food was good, not the best, but ok. The entertainment was good, very loud for that small room but expected. Service was good at first but then less attentive after ordering. Spent 1.5 hours there without ordering apps or drinks, just entree. Bus boys were good at clearing tables and filling water. Could have taught the waiter some things. Received wrong dinner, fixed after 20 minutes, hmm, maybe the order was not put in? . I don't like it when waiter feels it is ok to bring back the bills as change, but not the coins. Isn't that stealing? Also, waiter argued with me over my dissatisfaction, said I will get you the right change and a receipt that is not ripped up. I'm sure he is reading this. I am not coming back. You can now have more time for your regulars that you were hugging, instead of spreading your time equally.
Last Friday friends and I went to Villaggio's for lunch. It was not crowded. we were quickly greeted and seated. However, once everyone arrived and we ordered then the service went downhill. Our salads were not brought before the entree, water glasses were not refilled, the dessert order was not processed until a second server had asked about our order, the bill was not quickly processed. We have eaten there before without these problems so we probably will return to try again, because the food and atmosphere are wonderful, but it was disappointing.
The food was excellent and the service was great. We really enjoyed the Birthday
