Two old friends from way back had a great meal catching up on things. Our waiter was terrific and the food was delicious. Thank you!

Waiter was not attentive and had to be reminded multiple times of simple requests.

After several great experiences, we took our good friends out to experience Vida & Comida. We were underwhelmed with the menu, between seasons, the tasting menu wasn’t recommended, several dishes weren’t available, etc. I could have dealt with that but our waiter couldn’t be described as anything but rude, he was sarcastic & impatient and really left me feeling like I had taken our friends to the wrong place! We left feeling like we had spent a pretty penny for terrible service and mediocre food.

We had a girls night out celebrating a friends bday. We were lucky enough to be seated in VIP. This was our first time dining at Vida & Comida, but have been wanting to try this place for a long time! And it did not disappoint! The service was exceptional from the moment we were greeted and seated by Tim, who was so kind and friendly, to Ricardo, who served us that night. He was so amazing and accommodating to our group. He was also able to make recommendations for the bday girl who was gluten free. And the owner-Cindy coming by to check in on us, made our dining experience truly amazing. The food was excellent. The mussels and Seafood Paella were my personal favorites. Please get the creme brûlée for dessert! It was delish. Hats off to the chef. We will definitely be coming back!!

I went with a girlfriend who’s never been at the restaurant before. I’ve been many times with my husband and friends too! She was impressed delighted with all the great tapas we ate ! It’s nice to have such a great restaurant that serves delicious Spanish foods right in our own backyards ! We don’t have to travel to Spain to taste magnificent food prepared by Cindy’s husband !!! I will continue to bring more friends and try other delicious plates !!

Soooo happy Vida & Comida is an Ambler! We loved our experience and will be back! We had the spanish octopus which was nothing short of amazing. The Paella rivals that of any we have had during our numerous visits to Spain and the Dover Sole was awesome! It was perfectly cooked and adeptly filleted table side by our server. Service was knowledgeable and friendly, without being obtrusive, and all of our needs were anticipated and met with grace and style. The owner, Cindy, stopped by to make sure everything was perfect and her welcoming charm made us feel like were truly appreciated. She let us know that her husband, Chef Manuel, was back in the kitchen full time bringing back some of the recipes (the Sole, Osso Buco, braised rabbit, among others she mentioned), that we had missed of late here. Can't say enough of our pleasant experience, but that we will be back often!

One of the owners stopped by our table to say hello when we arrived. We had an early reservation so we were the first ones there. The server was very attentive and answered all of our questions.

The appetizers were amazing. The fish and corn were absolutely delicious and I would eat this every day. The paella was good but not the best I've had. The fish in this dish was a little overcooked.

It was our first time at this restaurant because it was on my restaurant bucket list but I would only go here for a special occasion.

The food was delicious. It was a quiet Sunday evening. Not many diners. Our server was very attentive and there was live music, which added to the ambiance of the restaurant.

I worked as a server for 17 years and I was surprised that the waiter never said “you’re welcome after” we said thank you. When asked if there were any recommendations, he said “of course” but never told us if there were any dishes he would recommend.
Because he didn’t have any recommendations, we went with the tasting. Overall, the food was average at best, and 3 out of the 5 courses were complimented with mash potatoes. Needless to say, it was the worst tasting I’ve ever experienced.

Food outstanding. Our server was not. Very angry for some reason and kind of ruined the atmosphere. There are many other places to eat and while we though the food was amazing, it’s not worth being treated like that.

We always love this place - lovely decor, pleasant atmosphere, solid service and consistently good food. Prices overall are a bit high for the Ambler area, but you get what you pay for.

One thing we object to is the fact that servers don't state the prices for specials, which are typically almost double the price of entrees on the menu - an unpleasant surprise when the bill comes. We now always ask what the specials cost, which is a bit off-putting in a fine dining situation - recommend prices are shared up front so patrons are not forced to ask the question.

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and good food. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a party of six people and every one loved this place.

The food was good. The atmosphere was lovely. The resteraunt ran out of menu items on Valentine's day weekend and we thought the food was very overpriced.

Highly recommended. Authentic dishes and flan is a must for dessert!

We had an early Valentines (2/13) dinner at Vida & Comida and it was delicious! We were there before 6:00 pm and had the whole restaurant to ourselves for about 30 minutes when other diners started to come in. We both had the braised lamb shank....outstanding! It was a very generous portion of which I brought half of it home. My husband had the organic salad and I had the beet and goat cheese salad along with the marinated olives. All delicious. Service was very good and we will come back again

Wow. Amazing meal. The food was delicious and the service superb. We each selected a different appetizer, entree and dessert. Everything was outstanding. We can’t wait to return and have already schedule a party for 35-40 people for early summer. Can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful time the other night. Lots of great offerings on the new menu! There is always something exciting on with the evening specials as well. I could definitely eat here at least once a week and never get bored! The service was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, as always.

Food was very good. Server never refilled water or wine glasses & seemed to want to clear plates too quickly. That said still a lovely dinner.

Food superb. Server spilt a full glass of wine on my wife. She was still wet at home. No real help provided.

This has been my "go-to" restaurant in Ambler for special occasion dinners or just a pre-theater dinner with friends. Portions are generous; prices are higher than expected compared to other local restaurants. Service is attentive; would appreciate quoting the price when reciting the menu specials. On 2 recent dinners, we found that the entrees were oversalted for our tastes; next visit we will ask for "no added salt".

Absolutely wonderful evening. From the top notch service (thanks Julie!), to the delicious food & beautiful decor, we had a very enjoyable dinner. Prices are a little higher than typical BYOBs, but the experience and service are elevated here. I highly recommend!

Vida has never disappointed. The décor is elegant, the service is spot on and friendly and the food is consistently very good. I have been going there since it opened and look forward to each new experience.

Our group of 5 had a nice meal at Vida & Comida. We made our reservations on Open Table without a hitch. Great that it is BYOB. The menu was diverse and it made it difficult to pick! Everyone at our table was happy with their meals and appetizers.

The service was off quite a bit, and the food was mediocre when we visited - the duck breast was bland and barely warm. Not worth the price.

We had a wonderful meal and appreciated our seating being moved away ftom the doir to the center booth. Gave us mire room and privacy.

Our waitress Julie was spectacular. She was extremely personable, friendly, and knowledgeable as well as very efficient. The manager, Tim, was excellent as well. The food was absolutely delicious.
