Great place for those looking for something different which is plant based and allergy friendly. As a vegetarian was great to have such a choice and the food was very tasty. Will definitely eat here again
Great, quick service.
Limited menu but the Bao buns are delicious and the Mac and cheeze was surprisingly good.
Good value for money
Amazing food - we had the chilli and the burger. I’m not a vegetarian although my daughter is. I had the chilli and I’m converted to jackfruit because of it. Burger was huge and great value for money. Lovely smoothie too. Free water was a massive bonus. Well presented food and helpful, friendly staff. I loved the feel of the place and can imagine at busier times it would have an even better atmosphere. Highly recommend
Absolutely fantastic food food for everyone, not just vegans. The cakes are unbelievable and we'll worth trying
I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to visit Vertigo in Media city several times recently. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is wonderful. Each dish entices you to try it. So far I have had the Hoisin seitan Bao Buns, The Truffle Potato gnocchi, Jackfruit and Blackbean chilli and The Mushroom and bourguignon Pie. If you have a desert belly, there are many cakes with ice cream to try. All in all I look forward to each opportunity to visit. 💚
Really good food & lovely staff too. Will definitely be going again!
Very good service but food was very poor. Such a shame as it's a lovely venue
Yeah right! Five Stars across the board? Well that is how it feels. The food suited this plain-eating, fussy-eater vegan perfectly. The other diners were friendly and pleasant. The staff were attentive and relaxed. My wife passed comment on the 1980’s electro-pop music being a pleasant change from the normal rubbish. She didn’t say rubbish, but I will spare you that. The candles and table water being brought without asking were a nice touch. Definitely good value for money, we had two courses plus drinks for £34.
A wonderful atmosphere and fabulous food. If this is the sort of thing you like, you’ll like this.
The food was fine, but the ambience was underwhelming - stuck in a corner of a concrete jungle in Salford Quays.
Excellent and imaginative vegan food. And I'm not even vegetarian. Great customer service too. Sat outside and watched the varied world go by in Media City. Would definitely go again.
We’ve really enjoyed our meal and will come back soon. Great food and lovely service. Thank you.
BEAUTIFUL food and lovely staff what else is there to say luv x
Vertigo is a great place to eat, especially as a vegan family. We nip in the media city restaurant a couple of times a month for coffee / cake but we also come for more formal occasions such as birthdays; our most recent visit as a family was for our daughters birthday and we can’t fault anything!!! Table was perfect and ready for the group on our arrival: with a nice spot for us as we brought our family puppy.
Service was fantastic / staff here are very helpful!!
The food was delicious, served quickly and everybody enjoyed their meal.
Followed by cake!
Loved the food, service and location
Yummy, fresh, friendly! Took my non-vegan mother here and she absolutely loved, as did I! Cannot wait to come again.
The food was outstanding. Lots of choice, fast service, welcoming staff. The have amazing cakes to eat in or take away, Smoothies, coffees as well as their food menu. Great place
Not bad prices
Quite slow service but really lovely waitress who catered to my dietary requirements. Enjoyed the meal and the decor.
Best vegan three course meal my boyfriend and I have ever had 😊😊 lovely staff too!!
Great service from the staff, amazing food and a great location. Would highly recommend.
Might have given more starts but didn't want to over rate on first visit :) All four of us enjoyed the food. Service good. No issues at all. Take away business seemed to be going great too. Looking forward to trying other branches. Thanks
Will definitely go back, it was great to see so much more variety with it being a vegan restaurant. Lovely atmosphere
Fantastic, tasty food, lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will return!
Gorgeous food and super lovely, helpful staff. Definitely want to come again to sample more food as we only had a light bite. The chocolate cherry brownie was worth the calories though!
Food was only ok not amazing and was expensive for what it was. It was a nice enough restaurant and great to have a fully vegan restaurant but I wouldn’t go back
The breakfast was great. Very tasty. The fresh juice and beetroot latte were amazing, love the big portions. Will definitely be coming regularly!
Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and friendly staff. I was intrigued by the Box on the Docks scheme and hope to go back for another meeting or meal in one of these spaces sometime soon.
My Husband and I ate at Vertigo early Saturday evening. It was absolutely delicious, good value for money as well. All the staff were lovely and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Vertigo has a nice laid back atmosphere with no rush. The whole ship was run very smoothly and professionally by the young man who manages the team.
Well done Vertigo.
We will definitely be back.
Lovely food lovely staff. Gorgeous and mellow afternoon
I ordered a full breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness and uniqueness of the plant based food: the turmeric tofu, the tomato base, the beans, just to name a few. They’ve got it just right, and the experience is totally worth it.
I don’t usually like vegan alternatives to cheese but the cheezeburger here is unreal!!!
The food and service is always on point. Would highly recommend!
I came here for lunch and found the food to be quite nice. Everything is vegan, so they have things like falafel, vegan cheese sandwiches, soup etc. and also lots of fresh smoothies. I had falafel with beetroot salad which was very tasty and good quality. The coffee here was also lovely, the restaurant is clean with hand sanitiser and they are cashless. The downside is that the service was very slow and it took about 40 mins to get out food. The waitress was polite and friendly though, the prices are good value and the atmosphere is nice and casual, not noisy but not dead quiet either.
What amazing food! Gorgeously presented and so so so tasty! The service was also fab. After asking what I could drink that was alcohol free the waiter made me a "Ginger Zinger" which was delicious. Would highly recommend even to people that eat meat! The food tastes amazing!
I've been wanting to eat at Vertigo since I first saw the advert on the building before it opened, so I was really excited when I could finally do that. The atmosphere was very warming, the staff were so friendly and polite, the setting in Vertigo itself was mellow, not too in your face, beautifully decorated. I ordered a bottle of red wine and the Truffle Gnocchi, it was such a delicious meal. Beautifully presented, my only criticism is that the portion could have been bigger, but I'm greedy so that's probably just me! I also had the a nice slice of biscoff cake, it was so delicious and rich, I really enjoyed it! I'll 100% be back in the near future, and I'm moving to Manchester soon so I'll probably become a regular customer!
Absolutely love it here. The food is delicious and there is always a friendly welcome. We really enjoyed the black pudding starter, and the cheeseburger is a winner every time. The cakes are e to die for too, although we didn’t have room for one on this visit 😊
Amazing vegan food at amazing prices. Never had a bad meal from Vertigo and always wish I could order more. Staff as lovely as their food.
