Had a great first experience. My husband picked this place to watch football and it did not disappoint! We sat near the bar area in a giant booth. They had plenty of tv's with football on. Everyone in the area was watching the game and very cheerful. It was easy to get a reservation and the staff was friendly. Our food was good. Glad we found a cozy new spotted! We will be back.
I have only been here once before, and it was a great experience. However this past time was okay. What bothered us was that our appetizer (which takes 2 minutes to make) didn’t come out for 30 minutes, which I can understand if the kitchen was backed up etc. but our waitress did not acknowledge it until 25 min in, but also did come up to us to say what the problem had been. We had somewhere to be so we asked that our entrees be fired and check to be dropped right away because we didn’t know how long it would take. After we asked, our waitress became a lot more attentive and checked on us frequently.

Unfortunately COVID is taking a toll. Verona was still good but not as great as in the past. The outdoor dining is far superior to inside, but it's just to cold to sit outside.

My fiancé and I dined outside at Verona Inn and were very pleased with all the covid precautions. Contactless menus, sanitizing tables between guests, disposable utensils, distanced tables and mask adherence among staff and guests entering.
The food was great! We enjoyed a delicious soft pretzel, French onion soup, tasty burgers, onion rings and tater tots.

The food was awesome...service was excellent...originally asked for outdoor seating and was put in an alley way that was nowhere near the pics off of Instagram....almost felt like we were put there because we made reservation through open table as there was a beautiful outdoor seating area in back that was half full...however food and service was great
We returned for dinner having had lunch earlier in the week. It had been many years since we ate here. We ate outside - we were the only ones since it was cold. We were dressed appropriately so the weather didn’t matter. The food and service were great. We even had a free can of beer to sample. We were told how much our patronage was appreciated under the current circumstances. It’s so nice to be appreciated and we will definitely return - soon!
