    Our dining experience was excellent. The food & service were great. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Will definitely be recommending to friends to enjoy. It was my daughter’s birthday & the staff presented her with a very special & yummy dessert. Thank you

    Good authentic northern Thai food - not all the Aussie versions of Bangkok rubbish. Crisp clean flavours. Friendly efficient staff, though would be good if they did not shut off the kitchen so early, and if they are going to shut off the kitchen, they could still keep the bar open.

    The food was presented well and tasted great. The service was also outstanding. A little pricey for Thai food but worth the extra cost. Highly recommend Vela and we will definitely be going back.

    Four of us dined here for a birthday lunch. The menu had a lot of selections but very limited choice with no MSG. I had the pumpkin, cauliflower curry, it was pleasant. The birthday girl got a complimentary ice cream which she loved but the other guests weren’t offered dessert and we were told the r stairs t was closed at 3pm and we had to leave. We would have loved to have had dessert and stayed longer.

    First class and excellent service. The restaurant is very nicely laid out with quality furnishings and service levels are excellent.
