The whole experience was perfect ( delicious food and prompt service). Will definitely be back again.

Fantastic service, waitress was a wonder, nice ambience. Tapas were nice, as was the mackerel main. However the flank steak main quite tough and somewhat mediocre and the potato and broccoli sides were average. Perhaps just a off night.

Amazing food, third time I’ve eaten here however unfortunately this time the service was awful. We were quite late to the booking (we called ahead) which I understand is frustrating however were punished the entire time from our waitstaff which really affected an important client lunch

Everything was fabulous - the food, the service, the wine! We ate too much and just couldn't fit in dessert, but we won't make that mistake next time!

Fantastic service and delicious food. There was a function outside which made it quite noisy at our table which was at the back of the restaurant.

I have been here a few times now, the food is always brilliant & the service is the right blend of relaxed friendliness & dedicated professionalism.
I would highly recommend trying the slow cooked venison if you get the chance (not always available).
We tried the banquet menu for Friday & Saturday lunchtimes & it was most satisfying.

Service was fantastic however the food left something to be desired. Scallop entrees were divine however the octopus main was chewy and over cooked. Spanish mackerel main was cooked well but lacked any definitive flavour. Tomato salad was very tasty though! A solid 6/10 but for the price (exxy) i would recommend going elsewhere.

Vaquero has fantastic food and cocktails. A great little gem in Albion - Perfect for a special occasion.

Food menu, quality, quantity was good although too expensive esp when compared to say the "Rustic Olive" at Redcliffe but also to many others. The real problem was the wine list; way too expensive, I'd like to say 'criminally expensive'. And I'm not sure the wine quality was there either. When a complaint about that was raised, the waiter gave short shrift to it, instead of responding that the comment/ complaint would be taken seriously and passed on to management.

Lovely place to go. Food was really good though the portions are small.

We love this place - imaginative modern Spanish food, so tasty and well executed with flair. It has the buzz you want on a night out, and the team also have heaps of energy. The service is very professional and personable - Chris has a delightful personality and made us feel special on our night out. The Josper Roasted Scallops were the standout and the grilled WA octopus were also delicious. Go mid-week and they offer well priced options.

The food was sensational and the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely on our list to come back and enjoy again.

This is Brisbane’s best kept secret. Didn’t realise it was here under our noses all this time. Wonderful service and food. Lovely surroundings. Lovely for a special night out. We are indoors on this occasion and we’ll ask to eat al fresco next time to compare! Lovely!

Food is very high quality with much attention to detail, great flavours and impeccably presented. Staff are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Great ambience, lively but not too noisy.

Been now 5 or 6 times and hasn't disappointed, only issue was it was very loud Thursday and harder to sit relax & talk

We had a great dinner as always. I was a little surprised at the small range of options for main meals on the latest menu. Last time we were there I think there were more. But my Spanish mackerel was really nice and the sides were excellent.

Sadly Vaquero isn't what it used to be. The food was average and the charcuterie board was a sad shadow of it's former glory. No pate or terrine to be found just a few slices of meat and some depressing pickles vegetables. We won't be going back.

Some of the food was excellent, e.g. the croquet of the day. All of the food was very good. The service was equal to any fine dining experience we have had. We tipped $20 as a mark of our respect and gratitude. Our waiter, whose name I wish I could remember, was very professional and reminded us of some of the best staff we have experienced around the world.

What a find! The food was amazing and overall exceptional value. Thank you we will be back.

Atmosphere always very good. Service was excellent. Food possibly the fish not so great this time. Maybe a bit pricey but still great.

A wonderful fine dining experience. Walk beyond the Albion Butchery through their secret entrance into a beautiful bar and restaurant. Have been many time to this establishment and will return again. The food and service is excellent.

Hidden gem in Albion with amazing food and decor. Wine list is brilliant too, cocktails are great.

Staff are friendly, I love that they explain each dish as it's brought out. Loved the view of the kitchen too. The food is very good, was a little surprised the staff didn't suggest any sides to us when we ordered our mains, we probably did need them as the main plates don't come with a lot. But hey, room for dessert right?

Overall it is very good and we will 100% go back.
