Good quality buffet and wide range on the menu.
Drinks on the high side, but well catered for.
Coffee was great, as was service.

Vapor Restaurant could be really better recommendations than it is. The ambience was/is really bad. Looks like a breakfastroom (I'm sure it also is) but it would be really more impressing if there is a nicer and luxurious look than in a hostel. Food was good - a good value from everything but it could be a bit more hot food than dessert and salad. I loved the soup! Service was quite nice. The young ladies (and a gen) were so friendly. Keep them!

Wonderful workers who were helpful and inviting. I had booked well inadvance for our spot and when we arrived they had not updated our reservation to the correct date despite recieving the reminder the evening before. Regardless the lovely ladies at the bar were able to handle the situation effortlessly.

Review falls abit short as eggs were not quite cooked all the way through and the refilling of hot dishes was abit slow. We had to stand a wait for afew dishes to be topped up when our guests were extremely hungry. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves and promise to return back soon to give it another try. Family atmosphere, kid friendly, plenty of options and staff who had a smile on their face the entire time. As special mention to the beautiful (very tall lady with the long black hair) who took care of our bridal group so well and the lovely older pasifika lady at front desk who made sure our time at the Holiday Inn was worth every cent and more.

Love it Holiday Inn :) Thank you

Overpriced, only 4 main meal dishes in buffet menu, considering I paid nearly $50 for three people absolutely bad value for money if choosing the buffet. Food wasn't great very average.. Be warned don't waste your time and money!

The food was extremely average - chewy meat, soggy salads. The best dishes were the noodle salads. Generous amounts of fruit and cheeses.

Food was the only let down for me. We were excited to come for father’s day from the previous menu. It was different this day and meat was dry, potatoes were old. Felt like everything was cooked from the mornings. Loved the customer service though. Will make sure to view the menu next time especially with that price

Good food selection and value for money. Prawns will definitely be a drawcard, keep that on the menu at dinner.

On the 3rd April I spoke with the coordinator Dylan & kindly requested that my lot would be seated away from everybody as we had many children & could be annoying for the others trying to enjoy their meal, Dylan was happy to make it happen. Sadly it wasn't the case. Supervisor Annalise on duty seated us at the front where I definitely didn't want to be seated with our table split in four groups (18 of us for a birthday) so others would walk through while we would be singing happy birthday. When I told her my discussion with Dylan she clearly made the impression that she wasn't going to change anything regardless, which she didn't.
Annalise was on duty for the 2 nights we were there. She had absolutely no customer service, utterly rude & unprofessional. She acted like she didn't want to be there. Both nights i witnessed her rolling her eyes on different occasions as if she didn't want to do anything. Chefs & Other staff on the other hand were on a different level! unfortunately i can't say the same for her. That shabby attitude should stay at the back washing dishes so nobody is put off by her dirty looks.
We enjoyed everything on the 4th besides the sour puss attitude given by the supervisor herself.
Regretfully My mother wanted to go again on the 7th April even after the supervisors rude impression the other night that we weren't welcome there.
It was even worse!! Annalises sour face from the 4th April turned worse when she saw us again. She stopped us at the entrance no greeting or a smile and bluntly said we're not open until 5.30 we're setting up! omg it was 5.15 we just wanted to notify her that we arrived that's all! I didn't get the chance to say anything, she walked off. She ruined our night making the food Tasteless the whole time we were there! Annalise has been around for so long, that's how many times we've stayed at holiday inn. But Perhaps she should be trained by her waitresses who had outstanding customer service & could handle the pressure!

Good and yummy breakfast food! there were so many varieties, from cold food to hot food and everything was nice and fresh. We went here for breakfast (full breakfast) and we came away feeling so full and so tired to go back to work. Thank you for a very fulfilling breakfast.

We stayed at the holiday inn Auckland airport hotel and decided to have dinner there.
We weren’t sure about what to expect and after looking at the a la carte menu and at the buffet, decided to go for the latter. The food was of high quality for a buffet - for $41 you could help yourself to salmon, dim sum, raw fish salad, seafood salad, soup, salad buffet... followed by some roasted ham and lots of different curry dishes and stir fries. We ended our meal with some of the cakes, fruit and ice cream.
All in all, we we pleasantly surprised and would recommend the restaurant for dinner.
The added bonus was that we got some IHG points for booking a table there!
