Hard to find vegan restaurants. Selection was broad. Cocktails were good. Food was interesting but not quite to temperature. Give it a try if you are vegan! Namaste.
Fabulous, delicious vegan food. I had the sloppy joe, and it was as good or better than one made with beef. Everything was great.
Great food!!! I’ll definitely be back soon!
A+ all the way. I highly recommend the chili cheese fries and the sloppy joe.
Great, delicious healthy food, great food choices, comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. They should rethink the counter ordering. Standing in line for a long time while people get explanations of the food is not good.
Always an amazing experience every time I go!
Awful. The menu is nothing like what was on the website, on Google, on open table. The management told me I was a victim of technology because they had notified these sources to change.
Out of Beggar's Purse dish at 5:30pm, General Tso's chick-non dish served with plain rice (instead of coconut milk rice) - otherwise, food was very good, service and atmosphere was great. Definitely love v-eats and will be returning (we are already repeat customers).
It’s nice to have an excellent dining experience with vegan food. For years we’ve been limited to diners, food trucks, and the one salad option at that one place. But now you can eat a healthy, filling, plant based meal in a great atmosphere!
Birthday dinner, everything was spectacular.
wow. This place was God awful. The food was disgusting, bland and cold. The waitress took over 15 min to get our order even tho the place was not that busy. The food took 45 min to come out and was still COLD and nasty af. Also the food is extremely overpriced ($13 for a small order of fries). Overall, the worst dining experience i’ve ever had by far. Me and my friend wanted to explore vegan spots in Dallas and we were both thoroughly disappointed. 0/10 would Not recommend.
Food was good (nothing special) but the place does not look clean at all. Even tables were very sticky. Only one bathroom available for clients and personnel, there was always a line and not very clean.
V-Eats is by far one of my favorite restaurants vwgan or other wise! Everything they serve is delicious! We daydream about the chicknon baskets, the mac-n-cheese is so good you won't want to share, brunch is the definition of amazing! The drinks, both with and without alcohol, are insane! The owner Troy Gardner is a beautiful soul and that shows in every dish they serve. I love sitting inside and the wait staff are always attentive and conversational. This place feels like going to a family friend's home for a meal and there is something amazing about having a dining experience this pleasant while not eating a single animal or animal product. Thank you, V-Eats, for making my birthday amazing!
The location was really nice; there are several other restaurants in this same strip (I know one other one w/vegan options). It would be a nice place to hangout on summer and fall nights. The food was really good! We tried the avocado rolls, the chili cheese burger, the beastless burger, the yuca and truffle fries, and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese wasn’t really saucy, so it was hard to really taste it. The burgers and fries were AMAZING! I wish I lived closer to this place, because I’d defintley get a beastless burger once every other week. I will be back to try other items on the menu.
They put us at a table in the back corner – out of sight, out of mind, when it comes to service, or the lack there of. We never even got our drinks until after the appetizer was half gone. And that was quite a while because it took forever for them to take our order and bring the appetizer. Chicken fried steak had a very strange sauce, not the cream gravy one would expect.Mac & cheese side came lukewarm, so the cheesiness was lost. And the vegetables under the entrée were nothing special at all. Chocolate molten lava dessert wasn’t bad at all, especially for a vegan version. The ice cream on top was surprisingly bad given the number of alternatives in the market. Strangely, they don’t take Discover for payment. Bottom line: no surprise why the restaurant wasn’t full on a Friday night when all of Trinity Groves was hopping.
Great food, great service.
It was my first time to eat there. The owner/chef came by our table to ask about our experience.
I will return and introduce others.
Food, service and ambience was average. I have not eaten here in a while so I was underwhelmed with the overall experience.
I loved the relaxed feel off this establishment. The outdoor setting was perfect for a weekday dinner with friends. The dishes were unique and full of flavor. We will definitely be returning.
Normally the food is outstanding but this particular night it wasn't. I was very dissapointed especially since I came there with a special friend of mine. Of course I'll be back because I know the food can be great. However, when I'm going back is questionable. I believe in you V eats. Let's get it right next tine.
Peace and Love
Everything I had was wonderful, but the bananas foster bread pudding was in a completely different level of heaven. Even a banana hater will love this, as it tastes nothing like bananas but more like caramelized sugar and some type of delicious alcohol - I forget if it was brandy or bourbon. Next time I am in Dallas I will be back!
Thankfully the food is so good it outweighs the extremely slow service we got on my birthday with 2 kids in tow.
If the food wasn't so good we wouldn't drive back again from McKinney.
Nice time. Good experience.
Fantastic food and great service. One of the better vegan options.
Good food, great service.
Thank you so much!
Group of with a reservation. We were seated almost immediately. Good start! Tables are small. We waited for 15 minutes before we saw a waiter. Another 20 minutes for water. Some had ice, some didn’t, some were full glasses of water, some were half full. We ordered drinks and waited another 20 minutes. At that time we decided if we ever got our food order in we’d probably be there way too long. Since we had not received our drinks, alcoholic and non. We decided to leave. They hadn’t even started to make our drinks. 1st time for all 4. Very disappointed.
I really want to like this place. The food is excellent. But for the price I expected much better service.
Thank you so much for visiting us, we apologize for not delivering top quality service this time around. We hope to see you again & better serve you!
Great location and experience. I’m vegan and keto so the waitress was very helpful in helping me find items that would accommodate me. My partner who isn’t vegan enjoyed it as well. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the area. Would definitely recommend to vegan and non vegans
Anthony thank you so much for sharing your experience! We hope to see you again!
Great food, genuine staff. Looking forward to next visit.
So glad you enjoyed your experience! We'll see you at your next visit. :)
Definitely will return somewhat pricey but taste makes up for that
So glad you enjoyed V-Eats!
Going service and crew. Our waiter needed to be more attentive. Other then that, one of our favorite vegan joints.
V Eats is incredible! We always come here for celebrations! The ability to have a really nice vegan meal in Dallas is terrific!
Hi, I tagged you on Instagram with photos!! It was an amazing experience!! The food was stellar and great presentation. The bartender was fantastic!!! Great job!!
Great food, nice people and wish we had a place like this in Galveston Island!!
Tiffany thank you for your comment & for visiting us while you were here!
Our waitress was so helpful in making suggestions about food. She was very engaging and helpful. The food was amazing everything my friend and I had we enjoyed: stuffed avocado was recommended by the waitress, pineapple Brussel sprouts, cashew cheese nachos and buffalo Mac n cheese.
Beverly, thank you for sharing your experience! So glad you enjoyed your items! We look forward to seeing you at V-Eats again, soon!

Ordered a drink and it took at least I know 30 minutes or more to get
Great food and atmosphere. Service is awesome along with the desserts. Dallas favorite
So glad that you enjoyed your visit!Hope to see you again soon!
First time I came here was back in 12/18- food and service were both great, everything perfectly cooked and seasoned. I came back this past weekend for my boyfriends birthday. Since it was a Friday I placed a reservation just in case. Surprisingly the place was completely empty with the exception of one other table. We asked for an appetizer suggestion from the waitress and she recommended the fried chick-non basket. Surprisingly it came out very quick, but unfortunately was completely cold. I enjoy oyster mushrooms and I already knew they would be the base, but they consisted of about 90% batter, and little mushroom for $13. I ordered the one pasta item, pasta arrabbiata, one of my favorite pasta dishes in general. My boyfriend ordered what I thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit the chicken fried steak. My pasta was very appealing in presentation but NOT taste. I’m not a picky eater, and I do enjoy a lot of seasoning, but the “herb” flavor was overwhelming, lacking any of the spicy components of an arrabbiata sauce, not to mention the pasta was so overcooked to the point of mush, and i was served dry, rock hard bread on the side which was very difficult to eat. The chicken fried steak was somehow cold, and the vegetables on the side were drenched in oil very bland almost as if they didn’t even use salt. Since my pasta dish was very unpleasant I left hungry and with a $60 bill. Due the the “notice” they place on your table about “no refunds whatsoever” I did not mention my dissatisfaction to my waitress.
The food was very tasty. A lot of options. We are not fans of coconut so there were a few dishes we couldn't try due to that. Waitress was very kind and helpful with all our questions. Due to the location and being vegan food the prices are a little higher than used to paying. But definitely worth a special date night. We had the southwest spring rolls- highly recommend. Great flavors. Also shared the State Fair Weather Sandwich, delicious and the mac and cheese alone is delicious. Plan to go back and try the chicken non basket!
Tonya thank you so much for your feedback, so glad you enjoyed your plates. We look forward to serving you soon. :)
