Up On Knox

The food was very good, although the portion sizes seemed small for the price. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star review is the service. Our starters came out with the entrees and one of them was wrong. Then when we were finished eating I asked for extra sauce for my to go bag and did not receive any sauce at all, I ended up having to ask for the sauce three times in total before finally getting it.

Really good brunch place food was amazing especially the chicken n waffles.

Amazing place with farm to table food and every meal is the best! Service is amazing also and the restaurant decor ambiance is exceptional. It’s always my “go to” place when I am in Dallas.

No matter the time of day, Up on Knox delivers a great experience! The knowledge of the staff and quality of the product is hard to beat in Dallas.

Celebrated the New Year! Great food and service! They should have included a glass of Champagne for the fix’d price menu!

NYE dinner was awesome. Beef filet was out of this world, and the service was great. Will be back.

Service was exceptional and loved the food! The Christmas decorations made it truly feel warm and welcoming during the holidays!

Drinks sucked no Paché in a peach Bellini. Food was average.

It was our first tone to dine at “Up on Knox” on Christmas Eve. We came back for brunch the following day. That show how we appreciate our first time experience.

Overall, we consider Up on Knox as one of our regular restaurant choices kept in rotation week by week, however, since the reopening, we noticed that the some food items have slightly declined in quality. Maybe a new chef?? Anyway, its not enough to keep us from coming back, but we love the owner and staff and just thought you should know.

Also, the last time we had dinner, food was terrific but the music was terrible. It seems Up on Knox is trying to attract a younger crowd but if you looked around the room, there was no one under 40.

Up on Knox is a wonderful spot for Brunch or Dinner. We love the food, service and fabulous atmosphere. On beautiful days when the doors are open it has a very European feel.

Brunch and Dinner both are excellent! The food is awesome, the service is nothing short of exceptional and the atmosphere is great. Young or Old, you can't go wrong.

I sat at the bar and enjoyed fantastic service and perfectly prepared food. I had the beet salad and lamb.

Key Word: Teamwork! Preface: I work in restaurant management so my mind never stops “working”, and the first thing I noticed was the high level of team oriented service! Water hit the table immediately. The server approached the table promptly. Drinks were inquired about for additional rounds swiftly, and the table was adjustably pre-bussed for each course. I noticed that we saw various members of the team at our table which shows that this establishment values everyone playing a part in the guest experience. The server is realistically only one person and sometimes tables can require a lot of attention, so establishing this mindset in a team has definitely paid off! Thank you all for a great week day dinner!

Love this place! Food, cocktails and ambiance never disappoint!

Our table of 4 got all different meals - chicken and waffles; vegetarian quiche, bacon and eggs and BLT on sourdough. Everyone loved their meal plus the pitcher of mimosas. Only slightly negative things - staff who poured water was a bit aggressive in keeping our glasses filled (but we did not go thirsty) and the biscuits were not world record. Overall, I can't wait to go back for more quiche.

Great experience, even better food! They have yummy cocktails, a variety of delicious options and usually all your plates are finished and you're satisfied! Even their French fries are delicious, simple yet they make everything delicious..I would recommend brunch but we went for dinner and was not disappointed!

The server wasn’t very attentive to our needs and we had to track her down in order to get our bill.

So happy Up on Knox is up and running again! We love this place and we’re sad that it was closed for a while. We missed it! The vibe was exciting and the food and service were great. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they never fail to make it a big deal with a flame on top of the dessert! Can’t wait to go back.
