We were looking for a somewhat late/last minute reservation after arriving in town and grabbing a cocktail - the reviews seemed alright but I'm afraid we wound up incredibly disappointed.
The untitled super club experience was a amazing! Good food, good ambiance and good service. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that enjoys the ultimate dining experience.
We expected much, much more. Food, below par and not a value at all. Live entertainment, WTF? I love soul review music, especially live but the band was terrible.
Took my siblings there, who enjoy whisky. I asked in advance for a quiet table for drinks only. They complied with a great location, where we could hear the music and yet still converse. We ordered flights of whisky where my brother in law provided his expertise. The overall cost was higher than I expected, but then I don't know anything about buying quality whisky. We didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food. I provided 5 stars there to not impact the rating. All personnel were incredibly nice. The door bouncer originally wouldn't admit us, since 2 of our bunch had on graphic t's... but once he realized we had reservations, he only asked they turn their shirts inside out. Our waitress was bit 'overly perky', but nice and knowledgeable. When pushed, she did agree we should taste starting with the lower alcohol content ... yet brought the higher content out first. Overall, we had a great time and the atmosphere was a perfect contrast to the BBQ we had for dinner!
The live music and show was awesome but the food that we had wasn’t that good to be honest. We had a salad but it taste like fish. And we had orders for other things and they were just okay.
The service was amazing and the drinks where great.
This was my second time there and my recommendation however our server was terrible. Once we sat down he came over right away and we had a difficult time understanding him. After a quick intro and an overview of the menus, we didn’t see him for 20 minutes even though it was early (6:30pm and it wasn’t busy at all). He took our drink order and we had to get ice from one of the bus boys because he said he would get it when he delivered our cocktails but never did. We ordered our initial appetizers and the food was delivered by other people and he never once checked on us to see how it was. We were planning to order some additional entrees but decided to go elsewhere since he didn’t come back until the table was cleared. We just asked for the bill and went to a place down the street. As for the food, the ribs were not hot or even warm but the pretzel, cauliflower dish and shrimp cocktail were good. The best thing was the herb frites. The ambiance is pretty awesome - feels like an old speakeasy but unfortunately we won’t be going back.
We ate in the bar area as the live music- which was exceptionally wonderful- was too loud to have a conversation.
First time experience, I love the ambiance and the vibe of the night, the server was great. Only disappointment I had was the expectation of dining in the live music venue area. I was unaware of the floor plan and that it needed to be noted in the note section of the reservation. Instead we ended up dining by the bar far away from the live music.
The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 for the food is because I am the weirdo who would prefer more veggies with the main course
The appetizers were spectacular. We loved the steak tartare and the tuna.
Cute but SLOW service
Love this place, but the noise level is really too much. You literally have to yell to speak to someone if you happen to be anywhere near the stage during a performance.
Dinner was amazing, however make sure you ask to be seated in the Whiskey Library. We sat in the main area with live music you couldn’t hear the other person speak. The whiskey lounge also has live music, but a much more intimate and relaxed environment.
Great food, drinks and desserts
Was not what I expected and not a supper club. Ambiance has many opportunities with separate rooms including live entertainment. Food was great. Service a bit slow and server made effort to make it up to us.
Overall it is a fun atmosphere and the entrees are great! Unfortunately the apps were wimpy and lacked flavor, even our waiter advised against a 3rd option thankfully! Service was great, but don’t go here if you plan to have good dinner conversation.
Overall a great experience due to the food and ambience . Service however was fairly off. One server for the entire room. He seemed a bit overwhelmed.
After ordering a whiskey from their list, and waiting 20 minutes only to find out that they didn’t have it, they “upgraded “ me to a different whiskey. Which was actually a lower proof with less age. Also put it on the rocks when it was ordered neat. (The table behind me waited 20 + minutes for drinks as well)
I would try Untitled again, hoping the service was just a fluke.
DO NOT GO HERE. I've never been treated more rude at a restaurant after just spending hundreds of dollars to have a meal there. The manager took the barstools away from my wife and our friend while they were sitting at the bar after dinner and then place two security guards right behind us that followed us all the way to the street when we left. There was absolutely no reason for this. Apparently they didn't want us in their establishment anymore spending money. Find a different place in Chicago. There are much better options available. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
It was my partner’s birthday. The burlesque show was very entertaining, the service was excellent. It was the perfect place to celebrate her birthday
It was a very delightful evening in a in a unique atmosphere
We were given dinner menus, our order was taken and 15 minutes later we were told the kitchen was closed and that the food we ordered would not be coming. The hostess and our had neglected to inform us. We asked to speak to a manager who was rude and made every excuse in the book as to why we weren’t told until 15 minutes after we ordered that we wouldn’t be receiving any food. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Went across the street to Mercadito and got treated like Royalty.
We went here for date night and were really impressed with the food, music, ambiance and waitstaff. The food was amazing! We had the charred octopus as an app with the chicken and salmon dishes for dinner. The place is great for big parties or for a romantic date. We loved the fact that they cater to all age groups. This is definitely a place to visit and we intend to go back soon!!
Horrible service, food before drinks. Dreamed food into my wife while serving another table. Will never go back.
Waiter was not good. Limited vegetarian options.
The show was amazing!
Music was great, but food was below par. Would expect more from a restaurant on the bib gourmand list
Always love this place. Great time with the entertainment. The food is delicious. This is not a place to have quite talks. This is a fun place to be entertained.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious
Outstanding evening! Thank you for the great table placement in the entertainment room. This was by far the stand out for the weekend!
Untitled was a blast! Went for dinner for our third wedding anniversary. Was informed as we sat down that they would be enforcing the 2 hour limit because of the show, so I’m thankful that I had made a later reservation so we could get good seats and not feel rushed. The food and drinks were delicious for the most part. The pretzel appetizer was underwhelming, but both our entrees were incredible. I had the lamb t-bone and my husband got the skirt steak. Both were delicious and perfectly done. However, I will say, it’s difficult navigating a t-bone in the dark and the room is kept very very dark. Service was wonderful. The jazz combo that played was fabulous. The only weird part of the night was a random burlesque show that lasted maybe 5 minutes during the intermission for the combo. I thought it was out of place and, while it was well performed, it was disconnected from the rest of the evening’s experience and I could have honestly have done without it.
Came in town for a concert the night before celebrating my brother’s birthday. A friend suggested we check out Untitled. It was great and we will definitely be back!
Entire experience was great. It is an amazing space.
Julia Huff was outstanding!! The food and atmosphere were equally outstanding. I will definitely come again and recommend to others!
Too loud to say anything to your dinner date...hard to find our server to pay our bill.
After dinner, our server never came back to offer us anything. No dessert menu or coffee...
This is more of a music venue than a dining venue. We enjoyed the music. We were entertained by a nine piece band that had a very contemporary jazz sound. Food was good, but the menu was limited. Service was attentive, but the kitchen and bar are slow. Reasonably priced.
Amazing! Ben was our server and made our night extra special
Our group sat in a private booth so we could chat easily. Restaurant was busy for Tuesday evening with a comfortable noise level. We had cocktails, appetizers and a couple types of Cheese and Veg boards. Our fav was the small plate of octopus. Never in my life have I had such a tender piece. Very nice.
Vacation dinner. It was a rowdy crowd for st. Patrick’s Day weekend, but our server was sweet and attentive. Very energetic and beautiful.
Everything was absolutely outstanding! I started with an entree, for which I chose the Shortribs & Scallops. The short ribs were very tender and the scallops were, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. I followed that up with the pretzel pull apart which came with a delectable aged cheddar sauce and dijonaisse. For dessert, I had the dreamsicle mouse paired with Pappy Van Winkle 23 yr bourbon. Overall, an incredible dining experience that I will never forget!
the staff was very helpful and accommodating. My waiters name was shane and he was truly a delight. he guided us in the right direction as far as food and drinks, He even got us a table next to the stage for the showcase. its a fun place to grab a few drinks.
My husband and I had dinner while in Chicago for a work conference. The atmosphere was so interesting and our server was a complete joy to talk with. We had deviled eggs for an appetizer and chicken for the main course. Both were excellent! I had a special request for the bar tender to make a Spanish coffee without the coffee and I have to tell you it was the best one I have tasted. She put her special touch on it and I am hooked! The jazz band that night was great and set a mood that helped make the evening wonderful. Thank you for a night we won't forget. We will be back soon.
