Tuscany - Mohegan Sun
Tuscany offers a lunch menu daily or the signature “Tuscan Table” from Monday - Friday for $24.95 (beverages, CT sales tax and gratuity are not included). This gourmet buffet features a variety of authentic Italian dishes including traditional antipasti, zuppa, salads, flatbreads, pastas and cured and sliced meats. There is also a Venetian dessert table that offers a variety of Tuscan market-fare dolce.
Dinner service offers starters such as Boston bibb salad, fried calamari or one of our nine signature flatbreads.
Excellent overall. Like too many restaurants today it was noisy inside. I had a hard time hearing the server at times. We were sitting near the hallway to outside and could hear the waterfall. I would never eat on the outside, the waterfall is way too noisy. Maybe millennials don’t care but we do and we can afford to dine there.
The place did not disappoint. Everything was just great. Can't think of any complaints.
The food was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and attentive
Great food and service. Great ambiance. Excellent service.
We had a wonderful night. This is one of our favorite restaurants at Mohegan sun.
First time there, overall very good. Sat inside because didn't want the noise on the outside.
I am never disappointed. Its fun relaxed and always good service, never hovering, but are always available plus fabulous food. I particularly love the Fig Mule as witnessed by my repeat ordering, the Lobster Ravioli is divine always, and the bread with the olive tapenade and ricotta spread amazing.
I would recommend dinner there whenever visiting Mohegan Sun.
Always consistent and never disappointing; a go to everytime we visit Mohegan Sun
First never got my salad when I ask they said sorry blamed it on the kitchen told them to late are dinners were coming out. My food was terrible I ordered the half chicken, was over cooked dry and hard very poor. My wife ordered veal parm looking at her food cheese was burnt on top she said the same thing dry and over cooked. The restaurant wast even that busy that night. Maybe I see why. I have eaten there before never experience this it was that bad
Overall a great meal. We were seated inside, which was nice as the tables outside are very loud due to the waterfall. The service was good but the food came out very slowly and the entire meal took over two hours. I assumed a 6pm reservation would allow plenty of time for a 7:30 concert start, but we were not paid and walking out until after 8:00. Luckily we did not want to see the opening band... Food was great but on the expensive side.
Portions were fairly large. Everything was delicious. Very accommodating. Attention to detail.
Outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. Perfect venue for a group!
Food was excellent as always. Our server was on top of everything. Immediately asked if we were attending a show after delivering our cocktails, which we were. Saw to it that everything came out on time. Efficient but not rushed. We didn't have to keep watching the clock, which made it more relaxing. One of, if not, my favorite restaurant at Mohegan Sun.
Beautiful restaurant with great people watching and nice waterfall. Good food, service.
The food is outstanding. We just LOVE sitting outside having a cocktail by the waterfall. We ate inside though, and while the food was absolutely outstanding, it was so dark inside that it's hard to read the menu. Our server handed me the LED tea light that was on our table, which worked. The service was very good, and they were busy!! I love it there and will definitely go back again. I would have preferred to eat outside near the waterfall, but someone was smoking a cigar and I wanted to enjoy my meal. I really wish they would prohibit cigar/cigarette smoking - especially cigar smoking. The cigar smoker sat there puffing away for hours... it was awful.
We did enjoy ourselves before a show. Flatbreads were delicious, salad, truffle mac&cheese. Very nice inside, quieter than out in the open area. Always a pleasure. Thanks Tuscany.
Generally Buffet food is mediocre at best. This was total opposite! At first I did not know what to think but the food was absolutely over the top! And the service!!! Wow! plate change, silverware change, never went without drink. We were so impressed. The server then told us about your Sunday Brunch. Well guess where we will be this Sunday :). We will be back over and over. Thank you for everything . Carleen and Kevin Mowrey.
Truffle Mac and cheese a must! Service was very good. Wood definitely go again.
Seafood brown butter/ tomato sauce with scallops and assorted fish is one of the best entrees anywhere. Unfortunately, they were out of the famed olive tapenade appetizer
As usual the Sunday brunch was outstanding. Great selection of breakfast and lunch foods. Service top notch as usual.
Very disappointing. Food was over seasoned. Steaks for both of us were extremely fatty, about 40% waste. In addition, the prices were very high. The lobster bisque was the only part of the meal I truly enjoyed
Great service. Food was delicious. Calamari was outstanding as was Prime Rib Eye. Recommend Tuscany.
We were sat outside and it’s extremely noisy. That was the biggest disappointment. If you want to have a conversation do not sit outside. Especially when the Casino is busier than average
Caesar salad was unimpressive and bland. Corn and bacon risotto tasted like what you would think the inside of a brick oven would taste like. Way, way too smoky. The rigatoni bolognese and the Maine lobster ravioli were also unimpressive. None of the food was worth the price...it was average at most. The bread and accompanying ricotta and olive was the best part of the meal. Didn’t bother to get dessert. However, the service was excellent and the ambiance is interesting...albeit loud if you sit outside. Would not go back or recommend this restaurant. Typical overpriced casino restaurant.
I think best restaurant choice at Mohegan Sun. Bread and condiment ricotta and olive tapenade were very good. Tuscan Salad was fresh nice dressing Surprised this time of year tomatoes were so so. Halibut dinner special was good. Huge portion with stuffed crab on outside. Peace of fish was very good Just a lot of food! Linguini with clam sauce was good as well The margharita flat Bread was a little disappointing crust was more like a cracker crust. Molten chocolate cake was worth the wait with vanilla gelato and raspberry sauce drizzled. Our waiter was super attentive and provided us with excellent service.
Meatball appetizer was delicious, main dishes were not.
Very friendly staff and food was delicious
We were greeted fast and professionally and were seated promptly
The service and food were exceptional. Loved the generous portions. We highly recommend Tuscany.
5* great food! Service was impeccable, and can’t wait to go back to Tuscany!
Service was excellent, the food disappointing.
We always enjoy our visits to Tuscany, but the Sunday champagne brunch is truly spectacular! We have eaten at every restaurant at the Sun and while there are several we would highly recommend for different reasons, literally nothing compares to the quality and range of food offerings you'll find at this brunch for the price. The great service and ambiance are just frosting on the cake. A total winner!
Here to continue our anniversary celebration before the Daughtry concert. Our server, Dawn was once again a master of pacing our celebration and along with her onsite assistant Freddy everything ran very smoothly.
Our night began with an order of calamari which were very tender and crispy served with two different dipping sauces. The traditional marinara was both tangy and flavorful and the chipotle sauce had a nice bite to it.
The second course was the meatball flatbread which was served piping hot with each piece of an eight piece flatbread adorned with a large slice of a very flavorful meatball.
For our main meals we went with the rack of lamb and the seafood bucatini. The 6 rib rack of lamb (served in three pieces of two ribs each) was served with fingerling potatoes, carrots and peas along with a very flavorful demi-glaze. The seafood bucatini is normally served with shrimp scallops, mussels, count necks and squid served in a spicy sauce. I am allergic to shrimp and they happily substituted it out with two extra sea scallops. Both of these meals were so flavorful it is hard to describe how flavorful they were.
We finished off this with some vanilla bean ice cream and a molten lava chocolate cake garnished with a raspberry sauce that was very very good.
The kitchen here puts outs a great meal and the staff on the floor paces it to perfection. This was our second great night here in about a month. Thank you Dawn for making tonight a special one already looking forward to our next visit.
We tell everyone how awesome Tuscany is. The food , service and the wTerfall are great
Everything was delicious
The food and atmosphere were outstanding!!
Everything was perfect except for the service, which was slow due to a slow night and it seemed as if they were over staffed, let some people go for the night, then it seemed like they didn’t have enough people.
I don’t blame the servers who were there, they tried to keep up, and they were great!! I just think they let too many go at one time, other than that, Tuscany is awesome and would recommend people to go!!
Meal was excellent bread pudding for dessert was awesome
The salmon I ordered was bland and over cooked. My husbands cod special was dried out over cooked as well. It took the waitress 15 minutes to greet us. We were very disappointed.
The bread, ricotta & olive tapenade was something that will bring me back time & time again!
Dinner was delish, I can’t wait to come back!
