Tulse Hill Hotel
The Tulse Hill Hotel is a great place to dine whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A place to enjoy all of the things that make a great pub – conversation, welcoming staff, tasty food and drink and, the perfect place to relax and unwind.
With regularly changing seasonal menus, a robata grill, five rotating ales, 11 draught beers, a simple and exciting cocktail list and a well-selected wine menu, every taste is catered for.
Was a lovely atmosphere, albeit a bit cramped in places. The outdoor garden is beautiful for pre-food drinks. Sundays expect to see (and hear) lots of young children. If you can handle that, you'll be fine. Overall a pleasant experience and would return on a quieter day.
We are thrilled to have such a great local on our doorstep. Great food, fantastic atmosphere and the very best service.
Lovely Sunday roast beef - nice and rare with beautifully cooked veg.
Incredibly slow service. Wine ordered was not the one provided (although they offered a discount as a result). Main course food was dry and pre-prepared starters lacking in flavour. Unlikely to return.
You need to smarten up your act. There were not that many people in the Resturant, but serving us 4 meals on Sun 25th August was a bad experience. The waiter mucked up our order, and we then got what looked like ‘seconds’ served up quickly to compensate. We were promised a free drink or desert as an apology, then we were ignored. What was meant to be a celebration dinner with family from Australia in a newly renovated Tulse Hill Hotel, turned out to be a poor dinning experience, which I had to apologise for.

Lovely steaks and good selection and variety of food available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice pub for a drink or a casual meal. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits.

We went there for Sunday roast for the first time - the food was good but didn't know they had a quiz night on Sundays so it was very noisy as we could hear everything through the mic (it was a different room but next to each other without a wall).
We think we will go back during the day time rather than evening next time.
The service was good though, very attentive and friendly.

Nothing special but the food was fair. The chicken burger had pink (Raw) bits in it. Not much care for the customer.

The steak and chips deal on Monday nights is terrific. Some of the best fries I have eaten and the pepper sauce was incredible. The steak was tender and served promptly by our friendly server. I would recommend this establishment any day of the week.

Fantastic food. Lovely atmosphere the only reason for four stars was the service was a little slow. We had to catch people’s attention quite a bit. But the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or pleasant.

We had dinner on a busy saturday night - service was fast and friendly. Starter (veggie tacos) was very good - rest of the meal was decent -just not quite as good.

1st we went on s thursday, food ok. Service good but very noisey
This time it was Sat , under staffed. Order wrong, food not good at all apart from desserts.
Super noisey , service friendly but totally messed up the order. 22£ steak was very tough, not good tbh . 1st time group of 9 2nd 6 people. None were happy

Good food and an attractive wine list including dessert wines. We always enjoy the atmosphere here. Not over noisy but full of vibrant conversation. And the staff are lovely in our experience.

Always really busy on a Sunday so decided to book for Saturday lunch. Still busy but with some free tables. A mix of families with children, couples and small groups. Delicious food with a range of options. Attentive service. Will be back!

The high table wasn't what i was expecting for a family meal with young children. The table was wonky but everything else was great. I'll be back for sure.

Tulse Hill Hotel management have implemented a new system for allergies and the staff are discouraged from helping customers with allergies in choosing from the menu. Except the web based system included errors (giant cous cous incorrectly marked as gluten free) and it had a sample menu, not the current one so was basically useless. This caused a lot of consternation and made ordering quite difficult. It's a pity as the food is consistently good and I've always liked Tulse Hill Hotel in the past but I will hesitate to return now. To management: there is no substitute for knowledgeable staff. Please rethink your current strategy.

Whilst a lot of money, time and effort has been spent on this, I need to stress that by no means is it meant to replace our knowledge of exactly what is in our food. The system is there to provide our guests with a platform that is easy to read and bespoke to their needs. We're disappointed it was used incorrectly. I celebrated my 30th Birthday with a delicious dinner at the Tulse Hill Hotel.
From the service, to the food, everything was absolutely exceptional. I would return for the service alone, as all interactions were top notch. That being said, the beef cheek pie was absolutely delicious.
It was a quieter Wednesday evening, so I would love to return on a livelier weekend for extra ambience and cosy feel on a date night.

Food was good BUT don't book on a Sunday evening unless you're happy to eat your meal with conversation drowned by the PA system being used for Quiz Night on Sunday. I know this is a restaurant within a pub but our experience with the noise from the MC of the quiz was dreadful. It ruined a farewell meal with family over from the US - and gave them a slightly jaundiced view of gastro pubs here.

Delicious Sunday lunch at The Tulse Hill Hotel - a family favourite. Great team running the place, lovely outside space, calm and cozy inside. A treat to have in our neighbourhood, recommend a visit if you haven’t been.
