TTT Mexican Diner
The $33 all you can eat small plates and $0.25 drinks is a great deal, and it has been done well at other restaurants. What makes me hesitant to say TTT provides a great example of it is the execution. It took an unusually long time to receive the plates we ordered, and we actually got incorrect orders part of the time. A server walked up and asked if we wanted a dish (that she was already holding) that we didn’t order, probably a mistake from another table. We got two orders of something when we only ordered one. Another dish they forgot to bring us until we asked.
Great concept, I just think the execution needs some more organization. Keep the food and drinks flowing for it to be worth the dollar amount.
Love this place. My new brunch spot. Sangria and all the different small plates are my favorite.
Unfortunately the service ruined the experience. I won’t call the server out. We did the brunch special and didn’t get half of our food. The server visited us maybe three times in an hour and a half and ultimately ended up getting off her shift and not even telling us. We were waiting for service and never got it. As a result our food was cold and missing. Drinks not refilled. Beautiful place maybe we just got unlucky.
Tacos were delicious and margaritas were great! Server was very friendly
Guac is on pint!!
Good overall recognize the challenge of re-opening in the COVID-19 environment service was good and reservation was ready upon arrival. Had to wait 30 minutes for the menu to shift from brunch to dinner. Tacos were good but the chicken tacos we’re overcooked and dry.I did appreciate the complementary tres leches for Father’s Day and that was very good
This is my second time at TTT. The first time I had atrocious service, but went back a second time, assuming the first experience may have been a fluke. Nope. We waited 20,minutes for our waitress to greet us, and when she came to our table she literally didn’t say anything. She took out her notebook and stared at us, waiting for us to order. Drinks took forever, food took forever, she rarely checked on our table. Our food came out and we had to ask the greeter for napkins/ cutlery, since they were never brought to us. Never going back again.
Great food and service! Try the carnitas Arabe tacos or the garlic shrimp ones. Lots to choose from, and great drinks.
The brisket enchiladas has a very sweet sauce and small portions. My insulin was through the roof after eating that the enchiladas. I was ready to pass out from the sugar rush.
TTT is doing great with the outdoor seating restrictions as part of Phase 1. I missed the guacamole and burrito bowls and can't wait to try the margaritas again! I will certainly be back - with friends - soon!
The tables were right on the sidewalk but allowing people to walk through. Several times pedestrians got far too close for comfort to our table without masks. One of the managers did not put a mask on the ENTIRE time. I don’t know what is wrong with people, but wearing a mask under your nose or chin is NOT wear a mask. He delivered checks to multiple tables like this and greeted us like that. I thought my obvious disapproval would encourage him putting the mask on but no.
I saw someone in the kitchen cooking food like this too. The chef even shook hands with someone WITH his gloves on and then didn’t change them.
There seemed to be a group there that were friends of the staff just hanging out and getting drunk, which was totally inappropriate in and of itself. The staff would go talk to them in groups and take their masks off.
Our individual server had his mask on the whole time and was not socializing. I’m sorry that this review could impact him but I would not tell anyone they could comfortably eat here for their own safety or to be part of the problem.
The woman who delivered our food had her mask on under her nose and leaned right over the table. I was shocked.
I was disgusted by the irresponsibility throughout the experience. If you cannot serve the community safely, do not open your doors. We went out to support a local restaurant and now are afraid to go to any others if this is how businesses who are meant to serve the community “serve”. I truly feel bad for the ones who are being extra safe and taking real precautions because of ones like this.
Food was great. I feel the waiter could have been a bit more attentive (give more water before glass empties) but overall decent for price point and would return.
Tested post-quarantine phase one TTT. Tables nicely spaced, reservation required, and most staff wore masks. Some didn't and we were some of the only patrons wearing masks.
Thought the foot would be tastier few extras to make the meal memorable
Phenomenal gourmet tacos! I also really liked the chips and salsa served with an array of six different dipping salsas of different styles. Great ambience with an upstairs level that is a little more sophisticated with trendy (clean) restrooms and a downstairs that is more modern urban. Nice bar on both levels. Our waitress was very nice, enthusiastic about the menu and on top of things. Great place to get your Mexican fix! ,,, and wash it down with a wide selection of adult beverages.
Went during restaurant week and asked 3 different people about the special they were running and everyone of them told me either no they were doing that or they had no idea about it. It appeared that our server was the only one on the floor making the wait for him to come back to the table 20-25 min. With it being an unlimited brunch there’s needs to be more than one server on a Saturday at noon.
The food was thoughtfully delicious! They have shared service so we were very attended to. Try the unlimited menu so you can try it all! So good! we will be back!
All good except it was HOT in the upper level of the first floor. Heating vents blew directly down on our table. We left sooner than planned because we were sooo uncomfortable.
Great service and food. Margaritas not as good as upstairs. Yes
Food was greasy and expensive for what you got. Won't return.
The food is just excellent. We went for lunch on a Wednesday. They have a great deal for lunch on weekdays. $16.99 for all you can eat and anything you want from the menu.
The ambiance is great.
The only knock: the service was very slow but they did comped our churros which were heavenly btw.
All in all a great experience. Highly recommend
Solid lunch and I like this better than Buena Vida upstairs. Nachos were really good. I had 3 different kinds of tacos - none really jumped out.
My party had a reservation for 7:00PM on a Saturday and was sat immediately, though the restaurant wasn't really busy at all during that time. We were greeted by our waiter promptly and our drinks were brought to us pretty quick after we ordered. The food was decent; I ordered 3 tacos and one of the tacos was falling apart. The tortillas were soaked and pretty much fell apart when I picked it up. Other than that the ingredients in the tacos were pretty good.
Slightly disappointed in the new menu 🙃
I have celebrated my birthday at Buena Vida, and have had many dinners at TTT Mexican Diner with friends. The staff is always so welcoming. The managers, Vlada and Tijana are amazing! The quesadilla, the mix and match tacos, the churros, the DRINKS all of them, are top notch. I would also recommend their establishments across the street - Baba and Ambar!
Loved TTT! Went during restaurant week and tried many of the different tacos- all were delicious! Loved getting to try the unique tacos like the potato and the crunchy cheese-- these were the best tacos they had to offer! Great guacamole! Loved the churros and soft serve ice cream!
The food was good, and we really enjoyed the tacos and drinks. However, it ended up being a very expensive meal for what we got - tacos were small and not worth what we paid for them! It was loud and had a bit of a cold atmosphere.
Love it! Great quick meal.
Great food and atmosphere. The prices were a bit high for what we got- 3 small tacos. The margaritas were delicious, but definitely overpriced as well.
Went there for a birthday dinner. Atmosphere was great. Tacos were okay, kinda bland. Sangria was yummy. Service was great!
Tacos weren’t anything special, the drinks were good though. The menu could be expanded a little bit
Great meal as always. Good service, good food, good drinks, and a friendly neighborhood vibe.
TTT was very accommodating for a retirement celebratory lunch. A group of 15 sat outside on a beautiful day. I'd try the food again. The mushroom taco was surprisingly very tasty.
Terrible service when sitting outside
The hostess was not so friendly.
Our waiter was friendly and helpful with describing some menu options.
The food was subpar, at best.
The ambiance was nice.
Id go back for drinks only. Will likely never eat there again. Disappointed.
Came for dinner with my boyfriend and dad on a Wednesday. We sat downstairs and it was noisy at first but the food was great. Only complaint is that you don’t get sides with your tacos and the chips are not complimentary. Been here a few times and service isn’t the fastest. But the margaritas are AWESOME
It was wonderful. Good food, good service, priced right. Had a great lunch.
It was along wait for our server to appear, but He did apologize for the delay. However it was so loud we could not communicate the waiter keep holding His ear to let us know it was difficult to hear to Us even to place an order. The food is ok but there are many others I would try before going back.
Lovely, shorter brunch menu but tasty
Extremely overpriced. My boyfriend and I split an entree, and the tacos were over $15. They were tiny and the size of my fist and didn’t even come with a side! Ridiculous! Also, a small snack size bowl of guacamole is $10.
