Food is always very good here. Especially for vegans. Lots of options. Not bad for a chain. Definitely a better choice than most restaurants at a mall level.
We had the most magnificent meal! Special thanks to the manager, Joel, we loved our choices. The butternut squash soup, the seasonal salad, the butternut squash pizza, the squash pie for dessert! Absolutely the best feast, for pre-Thanksgiving dinner!!! We loved everything about it! Everything is fresh, delicious, timely, and they were all extra courteous and sweet to us!! We LOVE YOU, True Food Kitchen!! The most wonderful VEGAN choices, too!! SUPER HEALTHY!! Thank YOUU!! We had the seasonal shots, to boost our immunity!! LOVED THEM!!

Great fresh healthy food. Very good server. Nice to have heat lamps to sit on patio. Maybe add music outside?

Food was amazing and service was fabulous! The Brussel Sprouts were so tasty and the Edamame Hummus was different and tasty. Can't wait to go back!
I frequent True Food because it’s delicious and healthy. I love their chicken wrap, edamame dumplings, and miss their fish tacos. My only disappointment was that I was hoping to sit outside because it’s open enough to be outside but still covered, so even if it’s raining I’m not dealing with it. When my party arrived they hadn’t lit the outdoor heat lamps and figured it was too cold to be outside. I figured that was the point of the heat lamps to keep it warm, but still be outside. We ended up eating indoors and just kept masks on. Everything else about the visit was great, but I’ll probably just do take out from now on.

As for the heat, we keep the above heaters on throughout the shift (as long as it is under 65 or so, however we normally turn the stand up heaters on when guests request as we try to be mindful with propane use, and they tend to heat up pretty quick. I will remind our team to ensure we are turning the ceiling heaters on. We are very glad you continue to join us!

We were 2 couples sitting outside. The new qr code reader to see the menu was great except checking out would not complete the order. The food however, was excellent. The turkey burger had so much flavor and was very moist. Our appetizers were very good also.

We were asked to wait outside when we arrived on time, because our table was not ready. Seated at 2:10pm for a 1:30 reservation. Some of the hot entree items were cold.

Although, this is a strange year with the limited menu and let’s face it COVID has sucked the life out of a lot of going out activities. Compared to our visit last year, this year was very underwhelming. The menu was boring, there weren’t any special cocktails and halfway through our meal our server was M.I.A. Our glasses and plates were dirty and had to be replaced. I don’t know if we will be back or not.

We are proud to still have the same service standards we had prior to COVID, and I am very sorry to hear that we did not deliver on these during your dining experience. Absolutely delicious food! We got the wine, hummus, pizza, and grain bowls. The hummus was okay but everything else was amazing, including the house wine. Also enjoyed the vibe/ ordering with your phone and paying with your phone.

The Mobil ordering process is dysfunctional and unnecessary. It makes customization of your order impossible which is a extremely important piece for customers with dietary restrictions (one of the main groups that specifically patronize True Food)
As repeat customers both in KOP and nationwide (Nashville, Miami, etc) we strongly urge you to go back to normal ordering procedures.

This is an option that we added on for guests to use, however we do still offer our traditional table side service as well at all of our locations. If you do see some dietary restrictions that are not listed on the app when you ordered, please let me know. We are always looking at ways to improve this option as well. I was disappointed in the complexity of the app used to order our food. As cumbersome as it was, there should've been a tutorial. Once my husband and I figured out the app, the food was sub par. I've been to True Food Kitchen several times and this time will be the last. My husband's food came out before mine and it also made it to our table before the bottle of wine we ordered. I know we're in a pandemic but this is basic service 101 not to bring the appetizer out with the main meal and drinks after the food!

The online ordering by customers is cumbersome and puts our heads in phones several times during the meal. I’m not sure why staff can’t take the orders on their phones or an iPad . Not sure why you even need wait staff other than people bringing food to table with current set up.

Food is always excellent. I do not like the method of ordering at all. I don't understand why the waitress cannot take the order. I understand we can look at a menu on our phones but please take our order.

Dining outdoors at TFK was fine on a nice Friday evening. Unfortunately, the newer method of being needing to use our iPhones to order everything online, without needing the staff at all, made the dining out experience not that much different than ordering online and eating at home. We were told in advance that the items would come out as ordered, so I guess it's our fault to have not ordered the appetizers and then waited 10 minutes to order the entrees. But having all come out at once, prior to even getting our beer, did turn out to be rather annoying. Then, trying to split a bill on the TFK app was painful and took way too long, finally needing to request assistance to pay the 2nd portion of the bill. The food was good, as it usually is, but the dining experience was not as enjoyable as it should have been, and could have been, it we could have just ordered through a human. The next time we eat there, we will definitely know better on how to "stage" our orders, but I'm afraid that we may choose other places to eat before selecting True Food for a while.
I am sorry to hear about your experience on Friday night. We did add this as an option for some of our guests who prefer this method, however we do still have table side service available. This was my 2nd visit to TFK, there were 3 people in our party and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the spaghetti squash casserole that was absolutely delicious. You can add a protein but I had it as is, which was perfect for me. My niece had the butternut squash pizza which she loved. My sister had the chicken avocado wrap which she also enjoyed. This is a great selection when you have a party that requires a variety of options including vegan/vegetarian. Although I did not have a cocktail that evening they did look like they had a nice variety with top-shelf options.
I love true Food kitchen but this time it was bad. Seasonal salad was bad. The Korean noodles were also bad. And the jackfruit rolls were even worse. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things but it’s a short menu and everything should be good.
Our waiter didn’t come to our table after we got our food and we were never able to order another drink and appetizer. The food was also subpar and overpriced for what it actually was.
This is one of my very favorite restaurants!!!! Amazing food & excellent service!!!

COVID-19 has obviously affected the dining industry more than most. I have loved the food and ambience at TFK for years and wanted my visiting family to enjoy it too. Sadly, the experience was not the same. Food was lukewarm and slightly mediocre compared to before, and the menu was limited. The server was great and very cautious about touching the plates, etc. We sat in the outdoor tent and while it was a fine dinner, it was not at all remarkable or special. Tough times for restaurants, to be sure, and I will certainly try again, but this was a disappointment.
Healthy food for a good price and good atmosphere
Food was good. Dumpling appetizer small. My daughter ordered the salmon. She usually lives it but this time it was different then normal. It was on a bed of cauliflower polenta. So salty she couldn’t eat it. Salmon was good.
