Love TFK. Food and service are great. Outdoor patio with heaters and contactless, online ordering and payment is a lifesaver during the pandemic.

The edamame dumplings are amazing and the cocktails on their menu are great. I also ordered an old fashioned which was nit very good but their signature cocktails were fantastic. Great place for healthy options

That Chicken Sausage pizza with the smoked gouda cheese was AMAZING. I mean everything was amazing but that was my favorite. Also, BEST HUMMUS I HAVE EVER HAD.

It was very nice to enjoy brunch on their first day back on indoor dining! True Food Kitchen is definitely the place I always have in mind for the “perfect” place to go for any meal of the day. Everything is SO FRESH and clean. I can not wait to return. I really wish I remember my server’s name yesterday as he was so awesome and helpful! Thank you guys for always giving amazing experiences! ❤️

It was a good dinner, the server forgot us a few times we had to call her over and the salmon just wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. But everything else was good.

Wonderful experience overall, felt safe and the staff was wonderful. Social distancing and all covid safety followed. The food was great as always and service too!

Service was outstanding. Didn’t catch our servers name but he did it all. Made the cocktails, the coffee after dinner and just generally went above and beyond!

We've eaten at this location many times and loved everything - from service to food. I made a reservation for my husband's birthday, asked to eat outside when I made the reservation, and was told, upon arrival, that there were no tables available. When my husband spoke to the hostess, miraculously, there was a table. Our waiter was very sweet so no complaints there. The kitchen was either having an "off" night or perhaps breaking in new staff but our order came out wrong, starting with the drink order. One server accused us of having ordered the cocktail and huffed off when we explained that we had not. Our entrees came out before our appetizers and were wrong. Again, the server huffed off and just put our meals under a heat lamp while we ate our appetizers. By the time we were finished with our apps, we sat for ages waiting for our lukewarm food to arrive. I've ordered the turkey burger a dozen times and it's always good. This time, it was so salty I could hardly eat it. Our sides - kale salad and home fries - were soggy and tasted old. I had planned on ordering dessert so we could sing Happy Birthday but didn't want to risk more disappointment. We continue to have great experiences at the Mosaic District location and will return there in the future. As for Bethesda...nope.

The pizza was lacking. The shrimp tacos and La Paloma cocktail were great!

I have severe anaphylactic food allergies to dairy and am extremely cautious while eating out. It was so wonderful to be able to have a fantastic meal out that was completely safe! Thank you for an all-around wonderful experience, I will definitely be returning soon!!

Really good farm-to-table restaurant. Foot was interesting and good, service fast and efficient and friendly. Felt comfortable there too in terms of COVID

Very accommodating...last minute add-on to our party & no problem! Waited 10 mins. for an outside table...beautiful day for waiting, so no problem! Ordering process a bit cumbersome {covid safe}, so we opted to order the pre-covid way, no problem! Food, drinks served in a timely fashion! Flavorful, filling portions! We were able to linger as long as we wished w/o feeling pushed to leave. Lovely, charming place!

We always have had a good experience at this True food ; however, one person in our party had to send the food back as it did not taste well. We will give it another chance at some point.

The food here was delicious. I am not a quinoa fan at all but tried it here and it was so good. We also had the chocolate quinoa brownie and squash pie and they both were delicious. I am planning to go back again this week.

Excellent for dining outside. Good and healthy meals. Recommend the shrimp tacos! A light, delicious plate with a very fresh arugula salad. Loved the chia seed and banana pudding!

We ate outside. With Covid we were spread out and it wasn’t very crowded on a Wednesday. Hummus is delicious, had the chicken pizza, the skinny margarita was fresh and delicious.

I fell in love with True Food in Atlanta, so I was super excited to learn about one in Bethesda. And although they didn’t have my FAVORITE dish available (the TLT sandwich), I was not disappointed. I will be back!

It's unfortunate - when True Foods first opened, it was amazing! But the quality of service and the quality of food has been getting worse and worse since. I keep convincing myself to come back based on the wonderful experiences I had when True Foods first opened. But I have been consistently getting terrible service and terrible food. I got the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl and it was absolute gross....an overdose of sweetness and my shrimp was overcooked, dry, no flavor. No more True Foods for me.
