   We loved our meal, and the only thing we would have you add is a small share cheese plate to the dessert menu.

   My wife’s pork belly was crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inner. My cod was delightful and we shared the chocolate dessert which was very satisfying. Service was attentive and the wines were fine. Particularly liked the sav blanc.

   My wifem myself and our friends were given a friendly greeting upon our arrival, followed immediately with an escort to our booked table. Its view to the beautiful Murray River set us up well for a fine luncheon dining experience on a sunny Spring afternoon. Our orders taken; Murray Cod for me, Peking Duck for the others, with a lovely bottle of complimentary wine, we settled down to chatting at ease while we waited. (Always a pleasure to not have to raise ones voice; the ambience was perfect). Our meals arrived in good time and the only negative I could possibly think of was simply wanting more. That 'negative' was somewhat erased, once we decided to round out our meal with dessert and coffee. Next time, though, I'm definitely looking forward to an entree; everything else being so perfect.

    Fabulous wait staff. Friendly staff in all departments. Food and wine was outstanding and the setting is just magical. We had lunch last year here and it was so memorable that we wanted to re live the experience.

    First class ambience to enjoy a super meal on the sloping shaded grassy banks of the Murray. Oh, and the wines are terrific (surprisingly well priced) and the staff engaging and helpful. Couldnt recommend it highly enough.

    Trentham Estates platter lunch with a bottle of wine with a view of the river and good weather was an idyllic way to spend the afternoon. If we lived closer we would visit more frequently and we would like to try the restaurant. A perfect lunch time venue. We signed up to the wine club as we enjoyed the wine and were so impressed by the value for money. Well done Trentham Estate.

    Stunning wine in a beautiful location. I’ve spent two consecutive Sundays there, first the platter on the lawn looking at the houseboats arrive then leave after full tummies, then lunch. Both were fabulous but go the lunch. It was magnificent.

    We had a platter outside under the verandah in the shade which was good as it was a hot day. It would be nice on the lawn in the shade of the trees.

    Lovely antipasto platter on the lawn with our old dog. We arrived early and the houseboat was moored for us by Mildura houseboats staff. We saw another big houseboat moor and knocked our boat. No damage luckily. It’s tricky to moor. Getting there earlier is best as it got crowded!

    Went for a Sunday lunch and was pleased with the venue, the food and the staff. Menu was big enough to suit people, wines and prices were excellent and staff very attentive. After lunch we sat outside and watched the cruises departing…great venue.

    Everything I wrote in open table was a waste of time as they obviously didn’t read it. My wife is allergic to onions, so i told them what she was going to order and to make sure it had no onions. 2 weeks in advance, but it was delivered with onions. Even after i showed the waitress.

    I was really looking forward to lunch at Trentham Estate but it was really disappointing. Was told they they were only doing platters as I had booked lunch on a Monday which I was completely fine with. What I hadn’t expected was to be handed a glad wrapped platter to take outside. Had to ask for side plates and napkins which seemed to be an inconvenience. There was absolutely no service whatsoever. Very disappointing.

    So much more potential out there, the lawn area is so beautiful but the furniture is so out dated restaurant could do with some renovations. Service was slow and food is average. It’s such a beautiful venue should be taken advantage of and it’s just not.

    As always the food, service and views at Trentham was amazing. We booked here because it is our favourite restaurant and wanted to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary here.
