It was an amazing experience for us… I had eaten at their previous venue, but never at this one. The reason I gave the ambience a lower score is because it happened to be a very hot day, and they only had one fan to cool off our large party. The owner was extremely hospitable, and brought out five different appetizers for us, which were plated individually and beautifully adored. One of our friends ordered pesto gnocchi (which was not on the menu) but the owner went and picked fresh basil from the garden... I believe all their vegetables come from their organic garden. Three of us ordered Cacio e Pepe, which was also not on the menu… The owner was gracious and said “of course we can make that.” It is a dish I love from Italy. and is difficult to find anywhere in the US Very simple but very satisfying, My husband had the Fussili with mushrooms and Gorgonzola… It was out of this world. All in all, a fantastic afternoon, thanks to our wonderful hosts.
