Very poor ambience. Need better lighting. Very quiet. Meals were large but thought they were expensive for what they were. We like this venue for the views, so unfortunately dining at night left is very underwhelmed.
The food was excellent, the service was a bit slow but friendly and polite, the back ground music could have been softer.
We enjoyed the most amazing duck dish. I actually had the scallops but kept 'trying' samples of my husbands meal. Cooked to perfection. We will probably remember the food from that night more than the views!
We booked through open table as the restaurant was showing open only to receive a voicemail message saying they were closed... we didn’t get the message until after we arrived and they were open! The view of the glasshouse mountains is amazing however the venue and food need a lot of attention. We were served raw fish and under cooked potato. The deck is rotting in parts and is a major safety issue. Because of the raw fish thy took off two beers and when we questioned this we were advised that they weren’t even supposed to be open! I don’t know what that has to do with paying $26 for fish and chips that came out raw and having to send it back. We won’t be back again in a hurry.
Our dinner at tranquil park was nice the staff were all new, so thing service was will get better, the food was good. Scollaps were a highlight, mahi mahi special was very good! Pork belly was a little on the tough side! Overall the experience was good! And the views are amazing
