Went with my wife for our ten year anniversary. It was acknowledged by everyone, and we received a complimentary glass of champagne. The food was excellent, except for the entree. We both ordered the wagyu picanha. Mine rare, wife’s medium rare. My wife could scarcely cut into hers. It was so tough! She mentioned it to our server Bea. Bea offered to have it remade, but my wife decided to just keep it. Then Bea suggested she was cutting into it wrong. A bit later, one of the chefs came to our table. Julio Castañeda told us that this particular steak must be cooked at least medium to reduce its toughness. It did not indicate this on the menu. Bea never mentioned it, though she had a whole list of her favorite drinks for my wife. Julio insisted on bringing her a new one. My wife expected to receive her same steak back, but she was brought a whole new one. Julio saved our meal by stepping in and sharing some important details with us. I would suggest that Toro Toro’s servers get as educated about the food they’re serving as they are about the alcohol they’re pouring. This was a $68 piece of meat ruined by the server’s ignorance about the food. To be fair, it was a Monday night, and she seemed to have every table in the restaurant. I have never seen a place of this supposed caliber require a server to take on six tables. There were so many people standing around doing nothing. She was running herself ragged trying to keep up. After the cracks in the food began to show, my wife began noticing other areas with a lack of attention to detail. The window around the grill was splattered. When we left the table her napkin was not folded, as it would have been in any other restaurant of this kind. It was left up to the chef to correct the mistake. The manager, while walking around a lot, never noticed that there was a problem at our table. Altogether, the food was excellent. Would highly recommend the pork belly Mac and cheese. Potatoes three ways were tasty also. Character limi

The bottomless brunch is somewhat misleading. We ordered the churrasco and eggs for our brunch entree. When I asked for another serving I was told that only the appetizer courses were bottomless. This, even though on the bill it said BOTTOMLESS churrasco and eggs.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I don't normally leave bad reviews but I felt the need to warn others about this restaurant. Went for the bottomless brunch for my mom's birthday and had a reservation as soon as they opened. Let me start by saying the waiter made it a point to state that it was limited to two hours. There were some red flags from the moment the first course got served. It took 30 minutes to get a fruit plate and it simply was not good. Strawberries were bitter and the fruit lacked flavor. I understand that sometimes certain fruits are out of season, but at that point just don't serve that fruit. The second course arrived 20 minutes later. This was a shrimp cocktail that left much to be desired. The whole dish lacked flavor and I've purchased some pre-made ones from grocery stores that tasted better. We then received the arepas, which was a cold hard piece of dough with some topping on top. About 30 minutes later we received Anticuchos and elote. This is the dish frustrated me the most. The flavor of the Anticuchos was good, but everything was cold. We sent this back and were told they would make a fresh batch and it would be a couple minutes. 10 minutes later we received the "fresh made" Anticuchos and they were room temp. This is supposed to be grilled meat btw. Additionally, the grilled elote was also cold. The most annoying part of all is that at this point it had been about two hours and 3 tables around us had gotten all their dishes including desert and we had arrived before everyone else. After asking about our main dish a couple of times and speaking with the manager, the dish was yet to be served and no explanation was provided. We never received our main dish as we ended up leaving due to the horrible experience.

The food was amazing and flavorful but the fact that our reservation was not on time …once seated it took an hour and thirty minutes to get us our food…this messed up our entire night. The server did not give one smile.

Love this place! Finally tried their Bottomless Brunch and it did not disappoint! I love the way it's set up and appreciated the pace at which the dishes were brought out. Quality dishes, excellent presentation.... You definitely get your money's worth. Our server, Alejandro, provided us with excellent and friendly service. Also, valet parking is such a nice convenience.
