Service was poor. After we were sat on a table and got our coffee orders, nobody attended to take our food orders for atleast 25 minutes. Waiters just walked past and avoided us despite seeing that we still have the menu sheets on our table. We had to initiate to look for a waiter to get our orders. Also, when I asked for the bill the waiter just literally gave us the bill receipt and immediately walked away without any instructions where and how to pay. Food is average, too expensive for its worth but hands down to presentation. Ambience is fantastic, too especially the outside area.

I highly recommend the hotcakes, they are incredible. Best hotcakes ever. Really good food and service. I come here like every week, its my favourite little spot.

Was hoping for a 2 hr sitting, was only given a 75 min sitting.. asked that we had to leave

This was a lovely place for a late lunch with family. We sat outside, it was gorgeous and the food delicious with a twist. They didn't have a kids menu but the front of house staff were very obliging and happy to organise the waffles, hotcakes or eggs and bacon to kids size.... We had a really nice time

The waitress was extremely rude and abrupt, she had terrible service and manners.

Top paddock is great across the board, great food, cocktails, aesthetic and set up of the cafe, the staff are really friendly and very COVID safe. It was really welcoming and would definitely visit again.

We had breakfast with a friend and enjoyed the food very much. We had the chilli eggs and the top paddock breakfast. All good quality. Coffee was great.

Given the current climate and time limitations the team were very polite and respectful not to push you out and gave us 25+mins notice time was coming up

Fabulous place for lunch or brunch. Lovely atmosphere and fabulous food and staff. A really interesting menu and everything I have had was delicious. A total must are the ricotta hot cakes. Delicious and a work of art!

I understand we’re in covid restrictions but I don’t appreciate the servers being aggressive when presenting the bill when I hadn’t even finish my coffee due to time constraints. Out of everywhere I have been lately in Melbourne, they approach is quite rude and aggressive.

Good Cafe with interesting menu. Same owners as Kettle Black with some similar menu choices. Lovely food though some options such are quite light. Recommended

Disappointed with beef brisket, turned out to be dry which I did not expect especially in comparison to how it was the last time I ate. First time being disappointed with the place.

Great service and great coffee topped off with a nice bustling vibe. Would also recommend for client meetings.
