Tony's Di Napoli - Midtown
The food was amazing but the waiter was very rude and disrespectful to our party.
Great family style food, and plenty of it. We ordered 2 dishes for 4 people and ended up with take home. PS the bread Rocks!
On Saturday, September 14th, 2019, I had the pleasure of dining at Tony Di Napoli’s with my wife, Katherine Alleyne Harris.
I brought and treated my wife Kat and myself at Tony’s to celebrate Kat’s birthday and we had a wonderful dining experience!!!
Our meal was huge and absolutely delicious and our waitress, Robin was top notch. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed and attended to our every needs.
Robin also help to celebrate Kat’s birthday by bringing us Kat’s cake, taking great pictures and singing Happy Birthday!!!
Our experience at Tony’s Dinapoli was unbelievably wonderful and we recommend that all restaurant patrons visit and dine there!!!
Really great service and place is hopping! Huge portion sizes so don’t get too greedy!
Our favorite Italian in midtown. Great value with great food.
Awesome food. Helpful waiter. Great prices. Who could ask for anything more!
The noise level is deafening!!!! Not kidding —
You really cannot have a conversation
So if you want decent red sauce Italian and don’t want to talk to your companion diners , this is the place for you !!! Your food will also come to your table quicker than a fast food joint !!!
All that said the food is pretty decent —
Portions are huge family style, good for lunch leftovers or to share!
One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Will definitely be back soon.
All good but bussing staff were too aggressive and one dropped a knife with tomato sauce on my white Armani pants and your manager had to reduce my bill. Need to rethink how you manage bussers
Eggplant parmigiana - eggplant was not properly cooked - still hard - linguini stuck together - overcooked - sauce was not very tasty - it tasted as if the food had been precooked and just put quickly in the oven to finish off - not worth the money
This is a must eat for us when we’re in NYC! The service could be a little better but you can’t beat the food and atmosphere!
Family-style so be prepared to eat a lot! My wife and I had Chicken Parm and rigatoni bolognese. Both were fantastic! We'll be going back - but we'll bring more eaters!!
Old school heavyweight Italian. We ordered three dishes for six people and had leftovers.
The server Dennis was professional, attentive, kind, thorough, and fast.
The wait staff is always very friendly, and yet, gets your food to you with no problem
Very good as always. A little noisy upstairs. Chicken parm was a little dry. Shrimp was outstanding!
Very loud!! Service and food was very good.
Great food and service. It's a bit loud, so don't expect a quiet restaurant.
Post theatre dinner
This is a fun family place. We had a great server and outstanding food. It is a bit touristy but is still fun. We will definitely return.
It wasn't our first time there but it will certainly be our last ! Very poor experience. Server tried her best but the food was just awful. The meatballs were soooo overcooked, like they had been sitting in the kitchen for hours and re-heated in the microwave, there was grit in the baked clams and the broccoli raab was completely inedible, tough and stringy. All the dishes were sparse and not in the "Family Style" that they claim so we all stopped for Pizza after we left ! They sat 6 of us at a table for 8 which was way too big and so we could not even hear each other talking because we were not next to each other.
Sadly, this place get's crossed off my list.....
Food always good. Too noisy. Good for groups. Service was fast. Party of four including 7 year old finished in 30 minutes.
Great place will go again
Our server, Caesar, was superb! Food was delicious.
Having a girls day out with my adult daughter
Great meal as usual!
Love Tony’s! Bradley was great with taking care of us and suggestions!!
Everytime I go to NYC u have to go here
Good food, nice sized portions. Wish it wasn’t all family style but ended up working out.
Good food good servixe
fabulous as always, Love Tony D great food and great service
We like this place. Though in a touristy area the food and service are very good.
A good place to eat especially if you’re going to see a show on Broadway. It’s in a great location in Times Square. Food is above average and the service is superb.
This was not my first time at Tony DNappli's and wanted to give my Nephew and his Fiance who came from Texas a great dining experience. The food never ceases to amaze me. My Texas family was in awe of the food and dessert. It was delicious!
Food was terrific! Served family style. Server recommended 1/2 portion on our pasta selection and she was right! Huge portions! Service was wonderful, an overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend.
We go there every time when we visit New York. But this time we were only two people. The problem is you are squeezed in between other tables. No private conversations. No romantic feel. And one feels hurried to make choice of food and finish so that next customer can come in. But the food is so good.
More about quantity than quality. All in all, no real difference between say Buca (chain) and this place.
puedes compartir las raciones , por lo que el precio es razonable
We have travelled to NYC 6 times and always enjoy our last night in the city at Tony’s... the service and meals are always top notch. This is a lovely restaurant in a great location just off Times Square.
