The food was overcooked and at one point we noticed the waitress has her thumb in somebodys desert as she carried it to the table

Good staff and good service . One friend had the salmon she said it was nice , two of us that had the carvery really enjoyed it but unfortunately one of us got served very fatty beef & the end of the Gammon that was really tough. Shame we usually all enjoy it here. The honeycomb ice cream is very nice. The restaurant could do with a spring clean !

Very cold in restaurant. No mulled wine as machine not working!!!! What machine makes mulled wine, you open the bottle and heat it up in a pan or microwave. Terrible excuse for Christmas. Crumble was served solid had to return. Staff pleasant felt sorry for them having to deal with such complaints at this time of year. Overall very disappointed.
