Tiny's is one of my all-time favorite spots! Highly recommend!
Was recommended to Tiny’s by a local tour guide. The venue has an amazing ambience and amazing service. My wife and I ordered the same meals, a steak and potato dish. I have to say that my meal was just perfect, the best potato’s I have ever had. My wife however, had steak that was full of gristle and honestly could not be chewed. We did not mention it to the staff so in fairness to Tiny’s they did not have a chance to fix it. I am sure it was a once off because as I said mine was beautiful. I would recommend it highly just for the ambiance.
I sent the disch back and got another that did not taste anything
And extremely expensive
Not good at all
Everything was delicious!! Our waiter was awesome! The drunken donuts were divine, the kale salad was excellent and the tater tots were fantastic! There’s also this special hot sauce that was finger-licking! A little pricey but it was worth every penny. Will definitely be back!
What do you get when you start with a slow, curt waiter and add some iffy but expensive food? You get a sense of what brunch at Tiny’s is like. The menu looks great, but the experience of ordering the food from the rushed, unconcerned, unfriendly waiter and then receiving the food eons later and having it be barely adequate is not conducive to winning is back again.
Branzino was on the salty side. Kale salad and tuna tartar were great. A bit slow on delivering mains. Fix the leak in the back downstairs. Very nice service otherwise.
Very good food in super cool historic old row house. A bit pricey but it’s very typical for the quality and neighbourhood. Wine list could be more diverse and better though.
This restaurant “used” to be good! This was a go to spot for years, and it was great!
This place was the worst food i have ever had in NY. A hot dog on the street 100 times better.
Hanger steak almost $40 for 1 tiny grizzly rubber tasteless meat. Not edible. I ate this here for years! Now they serve it with some disgusting sour cream ish gross sauce that is so unappetizing!! Never mind, the hanger-steak was gross, chewy fatty grizzle. The whole thing.
Embarrassing as i brought a guest who was visiting NY and left up to me the dining place. What a vast mistake. So embarrassing and crazy expensive.
Glass of Wine was old turned to sherry sent it back and got another bad glass i couldn’t finish. Oysters were ok but not great for $40. $12 for frozen coated french fries were not edible either. Ordered french fries as the potatoes served with the mystery meat were not cooked inside. For $200 this was the biggest rip off dinner i have ever had in NY or anywhere for that matter. I think this place has a new owner and management as it was empty (used to he impossible to get a table) this was a Saturday night. Wasted on disguise food. Service was absent too as waiter preferred to be downstairs rather than check on us. Whole experience does Not even deserve 1 star. More like minus 100 stars. Completely embarrassing evening. I felt horrible that i took my guest to a dinner on her only 2 nights in NY and this was a FAIL, now woth an empty pocketbook! Don’t bother ever going here.
I love this place every time I come. Food is amazing.
Love the restaurant. Love the menu. Love the food. But the floor is uneven in the back room and had to change tables. And had to ask to lower the volume of the music. Too loud for such a lovely, tiny place.
Really cute and cozy interior. Great service. Mussels are very tasty
Great spot for a romantic meal. The food was top-notch, and the service and vibe were very personable.
Great fresh food!
Tiny's is not so friendly and the food, while decent is not good enough to overcome the attitude and the generally low levels of competency of the folks working there. A smile, a hello, a focus on clients could go along way to higher stars.
Great food! The name says it all—tiny space with bar upstairs. Food was incredible. We sampled almost everything on the menu and found no disappointments. Craft cocktails met our high expectations, too. Great staff! What a gem!
When we arrived at Tiny's for brunch we were taken aback. The restaurant really is tiny & quite old. The tile floors are very uneven & there are a couple of tiles that are raised & should be repaired. The tiny tables & stools with backs are old & wobbly. They are also old metal which I could smell. The tables are very close together so there is no private conversation. The table next to us sent back a water glass because it was dirty. When our food came the bottom of my plate was dirty to the touch. My coffee cup had a large chip right in the drinking spot. As for the food my eggs with avocado & tomato were perfect. My wife had the yogurt & a side of the warm drunken donuts. The donut hole treats were overcooked with a thick crunchy outside. Sorry but won't be going back.
Outstanding food ... outstanding service. A true tribeca gem.
Great food - we had a great visit
Cute place but they are really bad with dietary restrictions / allergies. If you dont have those, you’re good. If you do, better to eat somewhere else.
Really wonderful old building and great potential for a date spot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was just not skillfully prepared, which at the premium prices charged here it really should be!
Specifically: Tuna tartare was heavily over-spiced so you couldn't taste anything else. Hangar steak was overcooked and dry. The duck was tough and bland.
Tiny & the Bar Upstairs has a comfortable, informal character. The service was prompt and polite. I had a duck which was very nicely done, but a bit too sweet. The lemon tart was perfect, and the wine list provided a good selection.
Cute place, nice atmosphere, good food and service. Been there 2x, will be back.
Went for brunch and loved the donuts, breakfast sandwich and the Eggs Benedict. The potatoes that came on the side of the breakfast sandwich were amazing!
Such a quaint little spot! We were seated at a nice corner spot, great for a marathon catch up with my visiting friend. The service with a smile was great, we loved Damani! The food was amazing! I can't stop thinking about those kale/chickpea fries! We popped up to the bar upstairs after our brunch and had another drink. It was such a cool little hideaway. Can't wait to go back!
The tater tots were overly salty and had kind of a weird flavor. Same with the kale fries. Not sure I would go back.
Family dinner. My 3rd time here, great every time!
Food was ok but service was awful. It seemed like there was one waiter for the entire restaurant.
Brunch was awesome. Donuts, nutella French toast and omelette. Service was flawless and friendly. Highly recommend!
Tiny’s offers a great dining experience. The atmosphere is charming. I had a delicious meal and prompt courteous service from friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Tiny’s is always fantastic! Highly highly recommended!!!
Hanger steak was one of he best things I have ever eaten
Very nice service. Kind and thoughtful.
Food is also well presented and fresh.
This spot reminds you of why you live in NYC. Quirky, authentic space, great food, wonderful people working there. We had a lazy brunch morning here. Sat in a window seat. It was kind of magical. Ordered the scones.... these were the best I’ve had in a long time. And the butter and jam took me back to memories of being a kid on a farm. Avocado toast, pancakes, Hangover Rancheroes. All so so so good. Love this place.
Lacklustre service and so-so food. Before we started eating the room lights were dimmed to a ridiculous dim level. We asked the server to turn them back up but he simply said no and went on to say that that’s why we had the candle (tea light) on the table. We then asked for more candles and he walked off and avoided out table after that. Seemed that no one was in charge of the restaurant and the waiters did what they felt like with no oversight. Would definitely not go back.
This was fairly disappointing meal. While the service was pleasant, it was really the only part of this dining experience that was acceptable. While the portion sizes were decent, the menu was very overpriced for the quality of the dishes. The tater tots and meatballs were incredibly bland to the point of being largely inedible.
Very cozy, loud, and a real neighborhood gem. Main dining room upstairs.
I wanted to write a better review but Unfortunately my chicken was dry and I didn’t eat it yet I was charged for it. I had no time nor energy to argue this after a long day at work. I wish the staff would have handled this properly or asked.
We picked Tiny’s for breakfast because it was close and on the opentable app. We were so impressed - love the history of the building and loved the tater tots. I would come back just for those. Cool space that would be great for after work happy hour.
Our first time there. A real vintage spot with great food, friendly service staff and definitely order the scones!!
This place is amazing —mussels sauce is unreal. I would drown myself in that with bread ALL DAY LONG. Ridiculously delicious. I find myself daydreaming about this dish often
