Tian38 – A contemporary and progressive approach to Chinese cuisine. Paying homage to Chinese cuisine of yesteryear whilst asking ourselves what the next step is in its evolution.

Enter Tian38, simply a translation from “Shop38”, a nod to the simple naming convention some restaurants take in Hong Kong.     Very good value for money set menu with delicious combination of just right amount dishes that showcase Singapore style cuisine. Our wait staff was very attentive as were other staff we interacted with and would be back again in a heartbeat for value, ambience and cuisine.

    As usual Tian 38 was great. We had chicken satay sticks first. They are served with satay sauce , onions, and cucumber. They are so delicious we ordered 2 serves of 5. We also had their delectable soup dumplings. You can never get enough of them. We also had calamari and then finished off with Char qua ta. This is a noodle fish with prawns and fish. We love it. Tian 38 is definitely worth going to. Make sure you book first. They get very busy.

    Group of 8 enjoyed the food immensely …. Such great flavours …… however the restaurant was very busy and we were not served for such a long time - hard to get a drink ….. once food ordered I arrived promptly and was 5 star . We enjoyed the feed me very much More staff to help the polite but very stretched staff if this place is to grow and develop

    We pick the feed me menu! They give a fair amount of food. And haven’t wait for long for busy Saturday night! And the food is delicious !

    Great food, Great service, got told we had limited time when the place was pretty quiet though (yes we had a reservation) i hate feeling rushed , you might wanna consider that.

    Definitely recommend the chilli crab jaffles and the singapore mee goreng noodles. Delicious.

    The staff gave me a small table next to glass widow which was very cold. The food was just average. The salted egg yolk prawn was good. But overall we had some food leftovers, we will not comeback

    We were met at concierge quickly and seated at a very good table position. The food was very good, authentic and flavousome, the table service could have been more attentive, I do understand it was a busy lunch service.
