Delivering moments to be remembered, enjoy the thoughtfully curated menu by Executive Chef Joachim Borenius.

With many beautiful features surrounding the venue, the biggest is our Oyster Bar. This space is for oyster lovers to sit and enjoy our signature East33 oysters shucked by our experienced farmers.

    We have informed the restaurant for the occasion of Birthday celebration. But not have action from the staff. Home can have some little surpise like a candle in cup cake next time.

    This is a "Special Occasion" restaurant for us. Staff are lovely, setting is lovely, wine list interesting. Food is good but not outstanding. We had seafood chowder presented in a Cob Loaf. Mine was good but my husbands had a lot of potato and very little seafood which was disappointing. Murray River cod good but again not outstanding. In saying that, we will go again.

    Food was absolutely fantastic, 100% improvement on the last time we went there in March. Will definitely return. The chef and staff need to be commended on a fantastic night, enjoyable food, great service and brilliant position. Thanks guys see you soon.

    Menu listing needs to be clearer as even staff were confused and had to explain that there were other items that were associated with the dish. Ordered one thing but because the menu wasn't clear received a different piece of steak which was VERY disappointing. Having a nice time until then. Unlikely to go back for some time going forward.

    Overall very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. 3 of our 4 entrees were fully eaten before the fourth came to the table (ie. a long delay between the first three and the final). The steak was very thin, overcooked and over salted. The rest of the meals were outstanding and well cooked.

    Wow, our lunch was superb. The oysters were the best we had had in so long. The kilpatrick were brilliant along with the cold seafood plate. Pasta was excellent and the whole rainbow trout was just perfect. The bread, the veggies, everything was just spot on. Could not fault this restaurant, staff, service, ambience, just amazing. As soon as we get back to Forster this will be the first place we visit. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon

    Once again, fantastic meals. Third visit this month, taking different visitors each time - and each time everyone raved about the food. Everything was delicious but I have to specifically mention the cold oyster tasting plate, the duck pate and the linguine - all sensational. And the service is always very good but yesterday was exceptional, can't speak too highly of the wait staff.

    Very disappointing. No longer the lovely Sunday afternoon ambiance we had experienced on previous visits when it was Hamilton’s. Whilst the staff were mostly friendly & courteous, the menu has changed and a fish burger with supermarket style crumbed fillets and a processed slice of cheese, plus undercooked vegetables, was not the standard. (We understand al dente, but this was not.) However the rainbow trout was very good.

    We love dining at 33 Degreesand as usual it was a great experience . The Murray Cod was delicious and we are looking forward to coming back very soon to try the rainbow trout. Keep it up everyone . Great job 👏

    The fish and Oysters were great, the carpet bagger was good and I had issues with my steak… over done twice. The vegetables were great sad was desert.

    This was another great meal, all three courses. I’ve tried a number of items on the menu and all were excellent, but I really can’t go past the cold oyster tasting plate - six different toppings on beautiful local oysters. Each time I’ve been there the server asked which was our favourite, and each time we couldn’t decide, they were all delicious.

    Our party of six enjoyed the cold oyster tasting plate, linguine, Manning Valley steak, barramundi and the special Carpetbag Steak (which was the best steak I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant!). All of the meals were delicious and beautifully presented, the view is lovely and the service was excellent. We all agreed that although the prices were high it was worth it for such a great dining experience - 33 Degrees will be our first choice for special occasions.

    We organised a surprise post-COVID date for our Parents. The total experience was perfection. Water-front , friendly & professional service, OUTSTANDING food, and a sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere.

    Four ladies went for lunch and were very happy with the service and food. I was particularly impressed with the decor and table service made our day. Cost of dessert a little expensive although we all enjoyed what we ordered.

    The last visit to 33 degrees was excellent but we were disappointed with the menu and the quality of the meals this time . There was no explanation of the menu nor chef specials offered . With such a fabulous setting we expected fine dining and expert waiters . The battered fish was bland and showed evidence of being frozen . Unfortunately presentation was not up to standard.

    Disappointing service, slow and the service attendant was dull. The food was not very hot, which was disappointing and the steak was not to order. However the oysters were perfect! And a lovely variety of toppings… well done.

    Can’t find a negative. Food was exceptional, service was fantastic - they’d even arranged for the rain to stop so we could enjoy the lovely view! Staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu.

    33 Degrees is truly a gem in the Forster-Tuncurry restaurant scene, so please don't be mislead by any negative reviews you might read. My wife and I were visiting Forster-Tuncurry and we lucked-in when we chose to dine here. We shared a mixed plate of oysters as a starter, followed by the cured salmon, scallop and octopus dishes from the entree list, plus a mixed green salad. Every dish was outstanding, and the service we received impeccable. We also enjoyed an excellent pinot gris from the Hilltops wine region, which had been recommended by our wait person. We have eaten in some great restaurants over the years, and in our view, 33 Degrees is right up there with the best of them.

    This is such a different dining experience and we loved it. We opted for tapas sharing and were full with tapas plates and desserts.

    We went there for Mother’s Day lunch Every time we visit foster we always visit Hamiltons oyster we found that it had been changed to the new thirty three degrees and we thought the quality would still be the same we where extremely disappointed we ordered the steak 2 steaks they were both cold and Brussel sprouts where hard as rocks for $40 steaks you expect a good steak you get a better steak at the pub and pay half the price We also ordered a cold tasting plate we payed $60 for 4 prawn one scollop 1 Balmain bug and 4 oysters Pasta was tasteless no salt and pepper on tables Menu small and no variety also no kids menu no breads Go back to the old food and service and feel Casual but classy!! It’s now to fancy and trying to be something it’s not We will NOT be back
