Delicious food with made with fresh ingredients. Just wish that they had a little more vegetarian/vegan options. And the wine is divine…of course
The restroom is in bad shape- not easy for anyone to access the toilet because it’s so low. And it really was not clean. Our waitress was nice but she kept playing with her ponytail when she was at our table. The frittata was dry, the wine glasses were not even filled half way and the French press coffee was bitter. Not easy for anyone who uses sugar to know how much to use when you don’t have actual sugar but simple syrup to pour. Overall we were disappointed spending $120. The $25 brunch special is a great deal if the food was better.
The food was good but the portions were too small. We had to wait for 40 minutes for our food and the waiter was unfriendly from the start even though we did not give him any reason to be that way. This used to be our “go to” place in Frederick but because of service, we will try a new place next time.
The seat was great. The service was outstanding. The waitress was very helpful and the waiter who served the drinks was very attentive. We really enjoyed our experience.
Food and ambience were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only knock is someone asked for a lemon twist with their drink and got a wedge instead (twice). Everything else was 12/10 and that’s not a big deal in grand scheme of things.
Just amazing! The service was spectacular and the food was pure perfection. Thank you!!!
Innovative, fresh menu, great wine selections, warm and efficient service. We will be back!
Celebrated my birthday! Love this restaurant and super friendly staff…can’t wait to go back.
Food and cocktails were fantastic. Service was fast and friendly.
Service and food was very good. I think the price point is more $$$, not $$ as advertised. Only down side was two large, very loud parties, which definitely good away from our experience.
Good food, attentive services, and a pleasant ambience made for a nice evening.
This is our go to restaurant for dinner with friends. We love the food! Starting with the Cheese & Charcuterie board (the celeriac pate-amazing!) For the entree, I ordered the Duck Breast. I absolutely love it! My husband and friends enjoyed the food as well. It made an impression on my girlfriend. She will be taking her other group of friends there too. She is vegetarian and was able to enjoy the selection of food in the menu. We also had their house made cranberry sorbet and chocolate ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend this place for all occasions. The employees are also welcoming and responsive.
Food was good, but I had the pork belly appetizer had cold spots in it. The brisket was excellent! The sauce on top was a perfect match! Had some whiner's from Montgomery County complaining about their seating arrangement but I guess that is expected. Overall will definitely visit again.
Food was awesome. The short ribs and chicken and dumplings were marvelous. Service was great. Ambience was very nice, but a little noisy.
We just love this restaurant. Any time, for every and no occasion!
We had a great experience at The Wine Kitchen and will definitely return. Service was friendly and on point. The food and wine were great. We both had filet mignon, one cooked medium rare and one medium and they were both cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and veggies were fresh and delicious. The oysters were large and also tasted fresh. Highly recommend!
Outside at the Wine Kitchen in November! It was amazing!
We dined outside last night, our servers were great and the meal great. Chicken and dumplings and short ribs were enjoyed, after we had a lovely charcuterie with wine.
The patio has a lovely view and the lighting was perfect even after dark.
The chicken and dumplings was very salty and just not very good. The service was slower than normal. The waiter forgot to mention that fries came with my burger and to ask if I wanted a substitution. Overall, we just felt that food wasn't as good as it usually is.
Made a nice presentation for our anniversary
It started shaky because of my guest wanted to do something different with Benedict and the server was giving a mini attitude towards it. Server could been a bit more friendlier. Food took over hour to get to the table. I
Everything was fantastic, as it always is. Warm welcome and greetings. Great atmosphere. Great service. Amazing food. WK is and will always be my 1st pick for brunch, lunch or dinner.
Great brunch. Food was delicious. Wait staff very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere, delicious wine and food. Everything I expected and more. Perfect for our first date night since becoming parents 10 months ago. Will definitely come back!
There are not enough stars in every category for this place! One of my favorite all-time restaurants! The food is beyond awesome but I also put a lot of weight on service and the Wine Kitchen has it going on!
Very nice! Food was excellent and they made the celebration very special. Great table with a view, amazing service and incredible food!
Our favorite restaurant in Frederick!!
Very nice experience with the food and service hard to beat. Stopped by for a glass of wine the week before and decided to have our anniversary dinner there. Good decision.
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and the whole experience was so nice! They even gave my girlfriend a b-day card! Definitely recommend! But it is quite pricey but definitely worth it!
We had indicated that it was our anniversary and we were surprised with flute glasses of sparkling wine. Food is well presented. Delicious!
Excellent experience. Such attentive staff. Fantastic menu and the food was 5star!
Great all around. Very nice outdoor seating. Will be back.
Great meal, great service!! Will definitely be back.
Wonderful restaurant and great ambiance. Definitely going again.
Food, wine, service and ambience were excellent.
The food was delicious, the setting outside along the creek was lovely, and the wine flight notes eccentric. The wine selection is great. our server was great. Prices are a bit high, and it took too long for our meal to arrive. We thought we had allowed enough time before going to the Wienburg Center but ended up a little pressed for time.
Everything we ate (short ribs with green beans and twice baked potatoes) was very good! The pumpkin ice cream was excellent, along with the strawberry sorbet! The service was excellent! The only problem was the choice of appetizers and soup and salads——we really wanted to choose something but nothing was to our liking.
Short rib for two was excellent
Service was excellent
Food is creative and consistently great. The staff from the manager to wait staff to the buss staff are always on top things and understand what hospitality is all about.
I always love going to this restaurant! It has the best brunch and great service!
The food was outstanding and a great value. We had the quiche, which came with a lovely salad. The quiche was very fluffy & light in a way I’ve never seen before. At the same time, it was substantial and filling. We had the dessert special, which was delicious — I don’t know the name of it, but it was sort of a parfait with several layers including some kind of custard/pana cotta, peaches, and broken bits of a sugar crust, kind of like the top of creme brûlée but thicker, kind of like peanut brittle but without peanuts.
