Fantastic food, a great vibe (despite it being a huge restaurant), very good value. Great table as well with lots of room.
Truely a hidden gem. Had no idea it was here, so close to work (World Sq). Nice place to go for a special occasion or an executive lunch.
Second time to have dinner with friends. This one was on a friday night. Only once the server missed a drink order, overall service was excellent and friendly.
The restaurant wasn’t full and would have appreciated not being seated in the middle of the foot traffic area. It would be a perfect 10 if we were asked if we wanted a quieter area, after all, catching up with friends is best if we can talk and have privacy and not in the middle of the action across the floor of the restaurant.
Food, service and price great from a nice hidden gem highly recommend.
How disappointing. We went for a birthday lunch and took advantage of the 2 courses for $50. I can only speak for my meal which was really disappointing. So the description stated "Steamed Murray Cod, Asparagus, Baby Carrots, Sugar Snaps" sounds good right? Well what came out was peelings of carrots (not baby carrots and not whole) one sliver of one asparagus and one (yes one) sugar snap pea! What the? Did they run out of food? Were they stocking up for Armageddon? The dessert was nice...
A great after work dinner spot for delicious food and great conversation.
A wonderful dining experience. The food was fantastic, the staff were so attentive, the wine was beautiful, an amazing setting and exceptional value for money for 3 courses. We will be returning.
Excellent high tea. The portion was perfect!
A lovely lunch place to take clients, great food and service, quiet for a chat and an impressive menu.
Thanks to the team for a lovely meal for our wedding anniversary!
Wonderful dinner, top to bottom. Came with 8 people and did the three course option, couldn't have asked for a nicer night. Place was busy but not packed, but felt spacious at the same time. Casually paced dinner, and the food was the highlight and star. Will be back again!
Slowly working through the menu. Ever meal so far has been excellent.
I am a Club Primus Member & can not recommend The Wilmot more highly. It's a great restaurant in a beautiful hotel. Staff are very attentive & food exceptional.
Had a late father's day lunch and it was great.
The new menu is terrific, the eggplant side dish was just amazing. Will be back very soon.
Good food and deal however service is super slow, took us an hour to get drinks and entrees served (twice in a row). Needs to be more attentive and faster with service.
My girlfriends and I celebrated two of our birthday's over a delicious 3 course dinner.
Great choices and value.
We could actually talk to each other quite easily, no yelling or repeated answers.
We all had a great time.
Good price, good quality of food
Please change the menu more frequently or offer more choices for regular customers.
Wonderful high tea in a fabulous art deco building. The rooftop pool also looks great
Great as always!
Took our clients out for lunch and they were very happy with the ambiance as well as the food. Meals are reasonably priced and come with a glass of wine.
Delicious food and great service. A serene location in the middle of a city centre under redevelopment. Thank you.
Will love the simplicity, food and service is fabulous, a place I would recommend and visit often.
Good service, great food @ reasonable price for fine dining lunch.
Staff impeccable, friendly and professional.
Food is of a very high standard, my go to restaurant for friends and special occasions .
Look forward to every visit and change of menus. Cocktails for pre drinks or after a highlight.
I have dined at The Wilmot many times, but it was the first time for my 2 friends. They were extremely happy with the food, service and the ambience. They will be back!
The only 'problem' is the lack of hand rail at the entrance to the hotel, since one of my guests uses a walking stick. She would have felt more confident if there was a rail for her to hang on as she negotiated the steps.
Thank you Wilmot team for another lovely dining experience!
Great set menu. Love the fixed prices for the selected courses.
Service is very good. Tables are set so that you are not close to your neighbors.
Another great dining experience at The Wilmot, my friend from Germany loved it!
Another lovely meal at the Wilmot, thanks everyone!
Classy and affordable
nhave been coming here since it opened. My fave restaurant in Sydney
Excellent service but food has NO WOW. Such a shame for a 5 Star Hotel. Chefs are boring with their food.
A pleasant surprise! Great value, delicious and beautifully presented food. Will be back ASAP, a great new place I'll be sure to visit regularly.
Always a quality experience, food very high standard. My every occasion restaurant
Absolutely beautiful food
Always outstanding food here! Have to say my meal was just magnificent! My guest was impressed! Definitely going to be a place of choice for business lunches and dining generally.
Stylish setting with well made food and a good wine list. Good for a business meeting or special occasion. One small comment is that the fixed price courses only include house wine which is a shame when they have good wines by the glass.
A group of 4 ladies, we have dined at Wilmot 3 or 4 times over several years. We liked that the restaurant is quiet enough that we can hear each other. The set course is also welcome. Everyone knows what they have to pay. We had dinner on a Friday night, we all thought the quality of the food and the way it was cooked and presented was excellent. The table service was also excellent, attentive, efficient and friendly. I was impressed that our coats were taken and hung out.
Wonderful space in a heritage building. One of Sydney's secrets. Good food and good service.
