Normally high standards but I think tonight they were a little stressed and it showed. Our waiter was distracted and left me to finalise payment at the eftpos machine - a little disappointing. I ordered a tenderloin which was tasty but cooked well done instead of medium that was asked for - we didn’t get asked how it was so didn’t have the opportunity to tell them.
Overall it was ‘ok’

The staff were very friendly but seemed a bit rushed. Forgot to give us menus then started serving the wine for our meal when we were still drinking our first drinks. Unfortunately my partner’s steak was on the cold side but the flavour was lovely. Overall we really enjoyed it but did feel a bit rushed.

Change of ownership since 2019 very obvious. Ambience has changed from High class fine dining to bistro. Staff stiff, awkward and robotic. Food acceptable for the price but the price structure demands everything to be spot on. Drinks delivery haphazard and not seamless, with glasses being filled unevenly, liquor bottle placed on the table then removed then replaced again. Cutlery over handled and placed on bare tables. All the little things that can make or break fine dining. I had previously dined here several times since 2011 before the change in ownership. Won’t be returning.

We had a lovely lunch for my friends 50th. The service was very friendly and every dish was amazing. It's not often that absolutely every dish is a standout, but Bells delivered! We would highly recommend the experience.

A place that calls themselves a Resort?? Very questionable! We felt like we were put in the "Voucher Corner" on a small wobbly table looking straight onto the people on the verandah thus giving them no privacy either!

We received a $300 voucher for our wedding last year (very generous gift).
Your prices!!! Come on...$5/oyster or $8.20/scallop (& you only get 3). Yes I expected to pay what we did for the drinks but your food is overpriced.
Desserts were awful... the sorbet would have been beautiful had the chef not dribbled some "lemon rind syrup" over the sorbet. The cheesecake.... let the patrons decide what flavour gelato to have with the cheesecake & not assume chocolate is the flavour because he puts orange glaze on the plate. It just did not go!!!

We used the voucher value apart from $17 (which was our tip I hope to the waitress because she was the only one deserving of it....remembering our order with no pad....well done!!!)

I have stayed at Bell's about 15 years ago and remember having a much better experience.

You are so far away from the world but that doesn't mean you deserve to have such absorbatent prices for your food which was in my opinion lovely but not the best.

Oh tip... the poor waitress with the trolley had to lift her tray mobile over a large step.... maybe a ramp would be easier for her as I'd hate for her to ruin the fish or food that was on the tray!

The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming. They could make recommendation regarding the menu. The food was excellent prawn starter moist. The fish main course fresh and flavorsome.
We have booked for an overnight stay over Easter Holidays.

Bell's has a well deserved reputation for excellence. We love everything about the place. A lovely old home transformed into a fabulous restaurant. Set in really lovely grounds it's always a pleasure to go there. This time we took friends who were first-timers and they loved it. Professional service from friendly staff a fabulous wine list and a menu that is Italian and delivers an unforgettable meal. Unlike some places there aren't dozens of menu choices but there's more than enough to satisfy the pickiest eaters. We will definitely keep going back.

Degustation menu was delicious with the exception of the main course. The Wagyu beef with mushroom lacked a sauce and a bit of green on the side and this made it a dry and uninspiring end to the meal. The marron was perfect and the best dish of the day. Desert needed to be a bit lighter as very creamy and sugary. We had an enjoyable meal and the surroundings are very nice as well.

We come to Bells very frequently, but recently we went totally plant based. We were a bit worried about our options now, then the chef created an impromptu plant based pasta for us which was heaven.
Even the plate of tomatoes is absolutely divine, with how tomatoes should be.
The service is always always impeccable.

Impeccable !! We have been dining at Bells regularly for well over a decade, and the product seems to get better and better. I really don't know how they do it.

The service , the food, the gardens ... amazing.

Sophisticated, yet relaxed; Bold, yet unassuming.

With a menu to cater for the most discerning palate and an incredible Wine list with knowledgable staff to lead you off the beaten path, you may need to stay over !

The service was wonderful with an eye to pleasing their customers. Cocktails on arrival and a post of flowers on departing.

Dining at Bells is another level experience. Every time we come here, our high expectations are exceeded. Of course, the service is impeccable, as are the views to the gardens, and the ambiance. Every course of the food is amazing - well balanced with complex, subtle flavours. Highly recommended.

When we first stepped through the door we were warmly welcomed by the staff it made a really great impression for myself and my partner. The gentleman that served us was so attentive and friendly throughout. We had the Valentine's day set menu and we thoroughly enjoyed everything on the menu with the Marron dish being my favourite. Although the dessert was lovely it wasn't my favourite.

I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back!

Lovely service and beautifully cooked food. Unfortunately we were seated in a busy traffic area of the restaurant and it was louder than other areas of the restaurant so it was a little hard to hear and relax completely. Other than this we really enjoyed our meal and drinks.

Our very professional and customer focused waiter saved the day because the food was way below average. Sides had to be sent back (french fries were cold, and so too brocollini). Snapper (whole) was as dry as its bones. So disappointing. We are locals and we want to love and support Bell's.

Entree of maran was delicious but squid was tough. Swordfish was tasteless, snapper was just underdone, pork chop was dry. Creme broulee was just rich custard not cooked. Wine was delicious. An overall disappointing experience as we had heard such great things about tis restaurant.
