Located on Regent Street, The Wigmore is set to become a new social institution with a touch of London polish and a place where everyone is welcome.
This Great British pub serves a carefully created drinks list from the team behind Artesian, including great wines, cask ales and craft beers including The Wigmore’s very own house “Saison”, brewed in partnership with Bermondsey’s “Brew by Numbers”.
The food menu overseen by Michel Roux Jr defines quintessential British pub fare.
Very tastey food and a buzzing atmosphere
Great place with very original food and great people. Will go back as soon as we can.
This must be one of the most beautiful pubs in London. Stunning interior. Elegant and dramatic. Gloss green walls and ceilings, anyone? Setting would probably be enough but the food is absolutely exceptional - crab on buttered mini crumpets, double-fried fat chips with 'Bloody Mary salt'. Yum. Couldn't get enough of those. The non-meat burger a fabulous and delicious revelation. And the sticky date toffee pudding was literally the best I've ever had. Washed down with a magnum of Provencal Rosè, we were more than happy. The service was delightful; as friendly and efficient as it could possibly be. The only downside is they're not open for Sunday lunch. Please change that!
Too noisy, too hot inside. It was impossible to breath. The food was good but it was too hot inside to enjoy the dinner.
We had such a lovely time! Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.
First time in the pub but it was a great atmosphere and the food was homely, savoury, heart and delicious. I would definitely return.
we went for lunch, it was the first time we had visited the Wigmore so we chose a selection of the snacks which were excellent, good value wines by the carafe, very good friendly service. Monday lunchtime was quiet but it gets v busy at other times so best to book.
Excellent experience as always. The Wigmore team always make the Experience memorable. André is a consummate professional and our sever Ira was charming and knowledgeable about the menu.
Great service and atmosphere and most of all good quality, well-presented food to superb standard
Not our first time at the Wigmore however great food and service as usual. We took our toddler with us and the staff are always so accommodating. We will no doubt be back again!
Good service, attentive and discreet. Food choice was broad and we sampled most of the lunchtime menu. Cheese board was perfect and we enjoyed it very much.
It was as good as ever so we’ve been there for lunch and dinner
Great atmosphere, large selection of drinks and quality food. Staff friendly and efficient.
Fantastic fun. Staff were incredibly friendly and professional.
The best pub in London!
Looks amazing inside.
Friendly staff and good food.
We will return for sure.
Great place, beautiful decor and fantastic food. Cheese on toast is a must
18 December 2019 - My first time at the Wigmore, with friends, both of whom have extensive allergies. Our waitress was highly attentive and was able to reassure my companions with her knowledge of ingredients and menu options. She took the time to work out which of the menu items would be suitable and which would not. Members of management were also on hand to obtain specific answers on allergens. The meal was of excellent quality, as was the beer! It is a very clean establishment too. Highly recommended.
Its a nice place after a hard day of shopping. The food is amazing and the staff as well. A special thanks to Ira our waiter. Great job ! See you in January
Pre-Christmas gathering for 8 friends. Wigmore gave us delicious food, very friendly service and affordable wines. Great buzz.
Excellent quality interesting pub food. Small menu but ensures everything is fresh. Sides are a little expensive for portion size. Service quick, attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere without being overbearing. We enjoyed Christmas Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Our friend also had an excellent creme brulee.
Very testy lunch with delicious food in the Wigmore. Service was good and I definitely would go again.
This is a great place to meet friends. The excellent food which is brought to you by friendly and efficient staff.
My first choice for a lunch in town.
We always love The Wigmore. The staff are so charming and attentive, the food is great and there is a very good selection of drinks. It's slightly more expensive than other pubs, but worth it for a treat.
Our third visit to The Wigmore around Christmas and each time we’ve had the festive pie which on each occasion has been amazing coupled with a great location. The service every time has been bang on, attentive without being intrusive.
Definitely be back!
Nice Wigmore G&T and a very very tasty vegan burger..
Always love coming here. I feel like it’s an unknown London secret and I love that. Always busy yet not bustling. It’s my little sanctuary for some amazing food when in London
The Xxl toastie is their signature dish and for very good reason. Yummy!!!
It was everything that I expected
Amazing cheese toastie! Gorgeous space
A pity the doors were locked until 1200. We’d have liked to come into the warm even though we knew we would not be served until noon. I know it’s the West End but prices were on the high side (£14 for a Burger, £3-75 for an American plus 12.5% service).
Lovely place with excellent food wine and service.
Had a fabulous Saturday night here last week. We planned to visit for a few hours and ended up staying all evening. Fabian was a fantastic host. We will be back!
An up-market pub offering a rather small assortment of food but a great selection of alcohol. The eating area is not conducive to a long, romantic meal but has comfortable seating and very friendly staff. There are a good selection of starters/snacks but only a handful of mains and puddings. Prices are reasonable and reservations (particularly during "peak") are recommended otherwise try your luck at dropping in...they can probably fit you in at the ever-busy bar area.
Excellent food at fair prices. Good service and a wide selection of drinks that are looked after and served perfectly. Nice setting and good vibe about the place. Staff very attentive and quick. Would definetly go back.
We very much enjoyed a quick date night dinner at the Wigmore. Service was very friendly and the backroom has a nice atmosphere. The food menu is small, but with good coverage to appeal to different tastes and moods. The snacks made lovely starters to share, particularly the crab crumpets and the masala scotch egg. I had the steak for my main which was perfectly cooked, and so I will definitely return when I am back in that part of town.
Friendly attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere. We both ordered the beef pie with creamed mash which was really tasty! Plenty of meat , cooked perfectly in a rich sauce. We were also impressed with the selection of drinks offered on the menu. Great value for money, when you consider its location in Central London. We will definitely return.
we really enjoyed our evening at the Wigmore. Staff were attentive and helpful. The food was good and value for money. I'll be going again
Relaxed atmosphere great service well priced and interesting food.
We had a great night, The food was absolutely lovely & the quiz night was an added bonus, look forward to coming back
