During warmer days the gardens and decks provide a relaxing environment and during the colder months a spot beside the fire is most enticing.
Primarily our own Gins are on offer for consumption and sale, with the Whisky being available in due course - STAY TUNED. We also have a wider selection of whiskies also available for tasting. For those who wish to have an alternative to Gin or Whisky ( why? ) we do have a few of the local wines , beers and ciders available plus some soft options for the drivers.
We have a limited food menu which includes a couple of simple pizzas and cheese & produce platters .
The Whiskery is an 18+years only venue .Babies under 12 months are an exception. Please note bookings are for 2 hr blocks.

The Whiskery is always a fantastic place to visit. We took friends for a belated birthday celebration. The staff are always friendly and efficient; we even had Russ stop by for a chat. The live music was a great bonus. Of course the food and drinks were delicious as usual.
This is a fantastic experience, great staff great food and of course great Gin, will definitely be back with more friends.. Thankyou...
Loved our visit to the whiskery
Pizzas were delicious
Great range of drinks and staff were amazing
Such a stunning day with great service and drinks but it is a real shame and let down that we can only stay for 2 hours! I really hope these short sittings won’t be in place for much longer?
Waitress was extremely rude
Absolutely enjoyed our time there. Shame we had to leave @ 8.30pm. Why do you close so early? 😊
Great Ambience, Staffs were helpful and we really enjoyed it!
Outstanding I loved the relaxed feel of the place. Good food, service amazing
Personable and welcoming staff combined with an awesome atmosphere- highly recommend!
Definitely recommend this place, we had pizzas and cheese platter and the tasting board. We were outside and the place is beautiful. Make sure you book they were turning people away.
Wonderful friendly efficient and knowledgable staff, very attentive at all times. It was a perfect day sitting outside. The cocktail menu is time consuming as there are so many delicious cocktails to choose from. Highly recommend the foxy lady, quite potent! and the dodger- very granny apple like and very refreshing. Cheese board platter was plenty for 4 of us, and biscuits topped up no problem at all. Followed by a couple of pizzas (all of them really good, though the blue cheese was a little lacking in blue cheese!) and we were full. I highly recommend this place, a gem on the Bellarine. They are always adding new gins and other beverages to their menu, an interesting and very enjoyable experience.
Drinks and service great. Only had pizza and it was pretty decent.
I thank The Whiskery for letting us stay but they did let us know it was 18+ and next time our 2 year old son shouldn’t come with us.
I understand it’s difficult with numbers since Covid. However we still spent $175 with a son who didn’t drink - bought drinks, food and a bottle of gin.
Not allowing the odd kid or two (that can’t stay home on their own) makes it hard for families to come, which is really disappointing! If we can’t find anyone to watch our son next time we are back visiting this way then unfortunately I won’t be returning in a hurry.
If the Whiskery is full then it’s great for them as they still get their money flowing through, but not allowing young children when there Is still available spots may been they miss out on some income for the day!
Wonderful selection of drinks and very friendly staff. We were looked after very well. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We chose the tasting gins and had a very helpful person explain how to properly taste gin, so the experience was educational as well.
We had a most enjoyable afternoon. I was disappointed that the seafood platter was not available as I don't eat meat. The pear pizza could have been better as it was supposed to have blue cheese with it but couldn't taste any blue cheese.
The him tasting was a lot of fun. Overall a good experience.
Beautiful, atmospheric venue, both inside and outside. Blankets and heaters for when it’s chilly. A must if you’re in the area and love gin.
The gin is amazing and the cheese platter delicious! Will definitely be back again!
I’ve been to the Whiskery several times & always find the staff knowledgeable & helpful. Took Melb guests there & they enjoyed the Paddle Experience
Very slow to get order taken and took 35 min to get drinks
Good ambience, good food and excellent gin. Would go again to try the whisky
Upon arrival we were seated outdoors as requested when booked. Our table for 2 outside was tiny, very LOW TO GROUND that you couldn't put your legs comfortably under, more suitable for kids. I asked to sit elsewhere however were told the venue was fully booked/reserved. Shortly afterwards another table asked to be moved and they were moved without hesitation, hmm!
For food the menu offers 2 platters and a few pizza's. Small menu but that's ok as it's more about the Gin tasting and experience right? We ordered the seafood platter only to be told it's not available. It was 12:15 so not like they had ran out. So we defaulted to the cheese platter which was substantial however a dip or pate would have been nice addition. Also ordered a pizza which was beautiful.
Our drinks (gin tasting paddle) was a good experience, waitress explaining how it all worked. However due to small table they had to drag up another chair to place our drinks on.
When our pizza came, that too was placed on another stool dragged up to our kid size table.
Kinda felt like we were camping with whatever we could find to use as furniture.
After our meal we asked for coffee...sorry we don't do coffee...what the...If you offer an extensive alcohol drink menu surely a coffee should be made available, especially for those who are designated drivers.
The Whiskery has amazing gardens walking into the venue. Would be nice for tables to be setup here. We were seated outside on the left overlooking an uninspiring paddock, dissapointing given the open space out front which is so beautiful.
The concept is great, and with some simple improvements it can be a winner.
We love the venue, gin , food and service. However the 2 hour time limit is very disappointing as we took friends, so a group 6 by the time we all do a catch up the 2 hour limit is too short. I understand the requirement with COVID-19 etc but perhaps 3 hours would be more appropriate.
Great place to relax and taste some excellent gin. The wait staff were very attentive and great with explanations of the different gins. However a bit pricey when combining food as well.
I love this place. Drinks were great, staff were attentive knowledgeable and fun.
Very good vibe with great music, beautiful surroundings and great company.
Amazing! The staff, food and or coarse the Gin was just amazing! Highly recommend.
Lovely setting for celebration drinks with good friends!
It’s a simple menu but works great. We’ll go back as it has a great vibe
Love the whiskery. Consistently good service, food and amazing gin
Always a great experience at the Whiskery. Great food, love the stories behind the product and the pear and walnut pizza is devine.
Disappointed. Seated at bar on a gorgeous day and was near the sales point so everyone on top of us. Watched staff chat and socialise With each other whilst waiting for service, one staff playing with hair and mask all the time!
Great place; great ambience. Bring your dog and just relax with friends, a lovely platter and a drink or three.
Great little spot on the Bellarine in a unique setting. Great simple pizza to accompany delicious locally made Gin, combined to make delicious and refreshing cocktails.
Drinks are pricey. Food is good. Not a place for a romantic date.
great spot, but if you're not seated in a high traffic area good luck attracting staff attention
Amazing place and fabulous management. Great value and delicious food and beverages too!
Fantastic venue, excellent drinks and great local seafood platter. Sunday afternoons offer excellent live music!
The staff are all exceptionally welcoming and go above and beyond! Will definitely be back!
A beautiful day despite the inclement weather. Just loved spending a few hours of non interrupted quality time. Thank you 🙏
Great experience of gin tasting. Waiting for Whiskey
Great place for a whisky or fry the local wine/beer. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the whisky. Lovely way to spend an afternoon in a beautiful location.
Great service, excellent gin and lovely food! A great business which I will continue to support.
