Welcome to The Victoria Hotel, Woodend! We offer a friendly and generous service at The Victoria where we value your visit as much as we value sourcing and preparing quality food and drinks. We love local! The Victoria’s menus reflect our regional bias, and deliver delicious meals whatever your particular tastes or dietary requirements. Enjoy our double sided fire places or in the warmer months our dog friendly blue-stone courtyard!

The bistro menu features a staple of great steaks, parmas, schnitzel, burgers, pizzas and a barramundi fish and chips, plus many daily specials a list of eight to 10 house-made desserts, as well as a nutritious $14 menu for under-12s. Every day, we offer at least 4 vegetarian options and vegan dishes. Our wine lists boasting over 70% regional wines from our cool climate vineyards within the Macedon Ranges and surrounds.

Let us look after you and your family. This will be the 7th year of us celebrating Christmas day lunch at the Victoria Hotel Woodend! 3 course menu will be released on 1 June 2024 Adults $160 per person Children $60 per person (aged 12 and under) Bookings and pre-payment essential. All dietary requirements can be looked after when discussed prior and a Vegan and Vegetarian menu will also be available. The Victoria at Woodend is an unexpected gem, a country pub with a reasonably broad menu and really good food. At 6.30pm on a Saturday it was busy; some sort of celebration going on upstairs kept the staff busy. Families with kids and pensioners like us all got a good level of service from friendly and helpful staff. Besides their range of pizzas they had “standard” pub fare - schnitzels and burgers but we chose the Victoria pub pie (beef & veg) and the Seafood pie. Both were delightful and ample. Guinness is on tap, which is reason enough for me to visit again but the wine list was also reasonably comprehensive and included many local wines. We will go again.

We visited the Victoria Hotel last week on Thursday night, Friday night and Sunday night. We did this because the food and the service are so good, and we wanted some like-home cooked food. We had the Chicken Schnitzel, Seafood Pie. and the Crumbed Calamari. All meals came with a great thought-about salad and delicious chips. In the centre of the table there is a small bucket on a plate with condiments which cater for all tastes. Great idea! The service is excellent with all staff smiling and welcoming and happy to adjust the food and drinks to your liking. On behalf of ourselves and our guests, we would highly recommend the Victoria Hotel as a really pleasant place to dine. We will be back this week! A++++++

Food was fast and delicious. We were right next to the delightful fish tank and very welcome fire on a freezing night in Woodend. It felt very cozy despite being a very generous size. We had an early table booked and the place was already buzzing. What a gorgeous dining space! The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Kids welcome but no play space, take own pencils and entertainment if dining with children. Looking forward to visit again soon,

Enjoyed a delicious meal at The Victoria Hotel Bistro in Woodend yesterday evening. Great ambience, good friendly service The open fire was cosy and a huge fish tank sparkling with marine activity. Wonderful venue for the community to enjoy Families welcomed.

The service open entry was immediate in spite of how busy it was in the bistro. The table service was excellent and there was repeated service to our table during the meal.
