The menu had something for everyone. A great selection plus the food we ordered was all fabulous. We walked out of there already wanting to go back!
Looking for a good meal at a reasonable price before a show at UCLA. This hit every note and our server Lee was fun!
Cool atmosphere and great space to hang out with friends for food and drinks
Celebrating a friend’s birthday. Lee was our awesome server. Food was delicious and place was very trendy. Will go back again
We had a great time for Valentines Day. Max was our waiter and was terrific. The special menu (surf and turf) was excellent!
This is one of our favorite places, but service tonight was way below their usual high standard. Although it was Valentine's day, it wasn't terribly busy, seemed to be no apparent reason. We'll go back soon and hope this was just an off night.
This was my second visit. Comfy booth, attentive waiters, really good food. This is a great place. Easy parking underneath and validated in the restaurant.
Make a res - it gets busy.
A friend recommended Tuck Room because the decor is cool, the food and service are great and the location is local. It did not disappoint. Delish!
We’d had a long day, and (for lots of reasons) showed up late and asked to be served quickly because we had tickets to a show. Our server, was quick, attentive, super nice, and made solid recommendations. The ambience was really cool. Food was delicious. Cocktails were inventive and excellent. We’ll be back and hopefully we’ll give ourselves more time next time.
Very solid choice for casual dining and interesting cocktailing, prior to an iPIC movie. Good contemporary menu, server's recommendations were helpful. A nice casual experience.
I reserved the high top table and when we got there, the hostess tried to sit us outdoors, in a very cold night. I actually made a later reservation than normal to get the high top table vs the outdoor table. Then we were sat at the bar which which was also cold as it was backed up to the open table area. While the hostess was very nice, I shouldn’t have to fight to get a table I obviously reserved in the first place. The service at the bar was just ok as the bartenders were very busy. The food itself was good.
Great food. Our server did a good job of recommending things for us.
One of our go-to places. Always great food, good service. On this visit, our server, Lee, was outstanding.
This was my first visit. Decor is interesting, wall of actual books , great chandeliers . We sat in a high booth which was quite comfortable .
Food was really good, tasty and plentiful.
Would definitely go back
Great food great vibe!
The Thanksgiving buffet was a fantastic meal. They did not overbook the restaurant, so there was no line, and the food was always hot and ready when you wanted more. Excellent drinks from the bar as well.
Thanksgiving. Totally worth it! Great food.
Thanksgiving dinner. Second year in a row. Love that I don’t have to cook, but I don’t have to sacrifice an average meal at a mediocre restaurant, either. Tuck Room has great food, great service and great ambiance. It was a “date” for two so we killed two birds....(I can’t say no birds were harmed, as it was thanksgiving!). I really like it here!
Fantastic Thanksgiving spread! Excellent staff!Booth design a little awkward though. (High level seats with a raised wooden lip on end. Became difficult to get in and out of for my visiting Mom).
I was so impressed with the Thanksgiving dinner at Tuck. Delicious options. Plenty of food. Great service. No clean up. And, right next door to theatres which was ideal.
The regular kitchen was closed - but no one told us that. The food was mediocre.
Kitchen is being remodeled. Very limited menu. I am gluten free...very few food choices until kitchen reopens
The kitchen was largely closed and nothing on the menu that is on Open Table was available for dinner - bar snacks only for a dinner reservation. The management was not at all apologetic nor did they do anything to make up for the problem.
Food was all good, but service very slow and inattentive. Not busy but took 20 minutes to make drinks and then they were wrong and had to be sent back and redone.
Service was great! We went before a play at the Geffen.
Perfect for an easy and convenient pre movie snack. Food was okay.
The "Lounge" is just a few old chairs and paintings, but they have tried to
create a hip atmosphere. It was better before when it was a really good
restaurant with an excellent menu. The "Lounge" didn't do it for me.
Loved brunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The quiche and the French toast were fantastic. Decor is so fun and all the staff was so friendly. Absolutely loved it.
Service was great and food was also well done. and its next door to IPIC, Great for dinner and movie night .
We did a girls’ night here before going to the movies next door and we had a pretty good time. There was some issues with the food being cooked properly. They tried to fix it, but there was still an issue (hamburger not cooked at proper temperature). They are pretty pricey, but the food and drinks are food. Other than that, it was a great experience and our server was great.
Food was fine. Service was fine. Just fine.
The food was amazing at The Tuck Room Tavern. It was a Sunday evening so a little on the quiet side, which was nice. We had such a great waiter by the name of Alexandre, picture a younger Luke Evans. He was so sweet and recommended the perfect dishes. I would certainly recommend this place for either a quick drink before a movie, there are theaters located in the building, or a nice dinner out with friends or special one. This is right down the street from the Geffen Playhouse and something different than the normal fare offered near there.
I have had brunch twice. Sat outside both times. Great service, delicious food and overall enjoyable.
Better to sit outside than inside - too dark. But there were a lot of people enjoying it
we were able to sit outside in a shaded patio which was perfect. The waiter was great! Very attentive. Food was perfectly prepared and very tasty. Would definitely make this a pre-theatre brunch spot again.
Cocktails are definitely the highlight. The menu could use some lighter options.
Very cute place. Server was awesome. Food was GREAT. Definitely going back.
Great ambiance, excellent service, well-crafted drinks, and delicious food. The wagyu burger here is one of the best bergers I've had, which I've already gone back for twice. Great quality ingredients, especially the wagyu beef. Masterfully prepared, and tastefully presented.
I loved it. The night I went was a bit slow, but it gave us time and space to admire the paintings and texture of the place. We honestly didn't need a reservation because it was a very slow night, but the restaurant is beautiful and the servers are very nice.
The servers are friendly and know the menu well, they recommend the truly best food to try
Food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back.
