The travellers bar was outstanding. My partner and I went here for date night, and were very impressed but the food, service and ambiance. We chose to book the experience offered on open table, and paid $49 per person for an entree, main and glass of wine each, which was very cheap considering the quality of the food. The waitress was very friendly and was quick to serve us. We look forward to coming back here

Although I got an email confirmation of our booking and responded positively to a text message the day before, when we arrived the person in charge said I had failed to respond to two phone calls requesting confirmation - I had received no calls. The service was very slow and when it came to payment the person on the cash register didn't know how to use it. We were nearly late for a concert as a result. The music was unpleasant and too loud. We won't be returning.

Brand new venue right near Flinders st station. Opening into a grand lobby this bar has an old worldly glam ambient vibe. Table service and cocktails were delightful, and the curved couches cosy for catch ups. A hidden gem… for now.
