The Thames Court
Great pub, good food, disappointed that all the Sunday Roasts had run out.
Hadn’t been since the renovations and a huge improvement, both in number of tables and the location of the ladies’ toilets. Waiter was very personable.
Lovely meal with the family
Great food, excellent service and very child friendly
Great food and service
Lovely evening with family celebrating a special birthday. We were offered a round table by a window in a quiet position. Food was excellent & staff efficient & friendly.
Good food, good service and so many options for vegan!
Very nice food! Great roast on a Sunday!
Great food and service. Good for children
Excellent food and service great night out
Food good, if you want a window seat preference, ask at booking or send request. Service very good, attentive but not intrusive. Roast was good and had other items from the menu - all good.
We had a pleasant lunch as servywas good, ambience cheery but the food was tasty but was dry due to sitting around under kitchen lamps being kept warm. We did go on a busy Sunday bank holiday so this could be the reason for the drier food. Despite this we would go back and give the place a second go.
Burger and chips - Chips cold Burger incinerated, cheese so cooked it had disappeared - suspect they re microwaved it - tasted of leather
Great meal out with the family. Was quite warm inside, but at least out of the sun. We all enjoyed our dinner, and the staff were very nice and helpful (especially considering how busy they were!).
Great spot for Sunday lunch. The roasts are excellent and service indoors was very prompt.
Good good good service. Nice tankful. Friendly. Left happy 😊
Had to wait half an hour past our allocated booking time so not impressed, also had to chase to ask for the table to be cleared and wiped down so that my party could be seated, some of the food ordered also had items missing which needed to be asked for so overall not a great experience - will not be returning anytime soon.
I requested a table outside and the request was completely ignored so if you want a table outside don’t bother booking through open table as the request won’t be fulfilled.
I've been going for a few years now on a Sunday with the family and extended family so we know the level of service we'll receive. Sadly on this occasion this wasn't the case. We waited to be seated for 2-3 minutes, during that time a number of staff just walked past us like we were not even there. The guy who did eventually come over was rude and seemed stressed out. We confirmed who we were, he said that's great, your table is around the corner, he didn't even show us to our seats. We then didnt get any drinks for a near 10 mins, we had to find someone to come and serve us which was disappointing. Food was great, service was poor. We'll be back (we've booked the 13th May already) hopefully it will be better this time around.
Used to be frequent visitor but service time was awful 50 mins before starter. Not even full and at 13.30 already run out of turkey
Straight away on entering the bar area you are greeted by a friendly happy engaging member of staff. Been here plenty of times but each time it always hits the mark, great staff, great food and an all round brilliant experience.
Drinks were too expensive 2 bottles of Peroni £9.50 my friend ordered the Fish cake with roasted vegetables. However the vegetables were unrecognisable on the plate there was a desert spoonful of what looked like tomatotoes and peppers finely chopped very disappointing! Service was good.
Plates cold, food cold it was only 1pm and aready the stuffing for the turkey and run out. The sprouts must have been put on to cook the day before as they were mash. Overall a very verydisappointing meal.
Very attractive situation, and good food and service. Clean toilets too, and NO LOUD MUSIC!
This was my 3rd visit to the Thames Court for Sunday Lunch. On each occasion I have been most impressed by the standard of the food served and the friendliness and professionalism of the waiting staff. I would recommend to everyone.
I was brought up in Shepperton, spent alot of my youth at Thames Court it was lovely to go back and enjoy a lovely lunch with a very close friend.
I would recommend Thames Court as the food, service and the atmosphere where all excellent.
Good all round restaurant, food was nice & friendly staff.
Food was poor
Thames Court offered a friendly, and professional service. The staff were great, and very attentive. The food was excellent, and the setting is superb. Good value for money. This is one to put on my regular hit list.
A venue that appears to be going steadily downhill. Arrived for a 3pm Mother's Day dinner booked through Open Table to find the restaurant had no details of our booking on their system. A staff member admitting I was about the fifth person of the day that this had happened to. This lead to a 30 minute wait to be seated.
I appreciate that on days like Mother's Day that venues will be busy but the wait for food was ridiculous.
The starter of potato and leak soup arrived as lukewarm tomato soup without any explanation and one of the mains had to be re-heated as it was cold. The wait for desserts proved so long that we cut our losses and asked for them to be refunded from the bill.
The staff were polite and helpful but it seemed there wasn't enough of them on this occasion.
Very pleasant meal wonderful atmosphere and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Will be going again
The staff were very friendly, it was very relaxed and a calm environment. I have dined here three times and have received the same friendly approach on all occasions
Hunter chicken was dry. Other than that it was great.
