100% Recommend, the Front of House was impeccable, lovely atmosphere. Beautiful space. Service was spot on. Wine selection and menu was great. The Chef's know Thier stuff. The food was exquisite will definitely be coming back.

Food was delicious and service friendly. They were short-staffed the evening we went but the waitress on duty (Jessie) did a fantastic job manning the whole dining room by herself. Excellent Thai food.

The Thai House was overall one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to! Friendly servers and the food was fresh and flavourful. Would definitely return on our next train to Rye!

Lovely food and very friendly service. The starter platter for two was nice. Main courses of penang curry were thick, rich and very nice. Service was attentive a friendly - what is not to like?

Welcoming staff, mostly excellent food. The vegetable Tom Yum was really poor though, veggies seemed to be thrown into a watery soup lacking the usual distinct piquant taste. But our mains were excellent, the prawn massaman and tofu pad Thai which they were able to spice up with fresh chillis. Certainly worth a visit and perhaps the prawn or meat Tom Yum soups are fine.

I have used this restaurant on several occasions with family members visiting from Australia where Thai food is part of the most popular food eaten - on both occasions they left praising the quality of the food.

We had such a lovely evening at the Thai house and I must say I think it’s one of the best green curries i have eaten since a trip to Thailand three years ago. I was a little nervous as to how authentic the food would be as the restaurant is run by non natives however do not let that put you off. Complements to the chef and the service was great too. Highly recommend.

I booked this restaurant for one of my 2 nights stay in Rye. I chose it based on previous reviews I had read and was not disappointed! The 2 ladies serving were very friendly, polite and knowledgeable so they were able to help us chose some delicious starters to share and then really tasty mains. I hope to return again when next in Rye. Do go along and see for yourself.

Great tasting thai food. All dishes were excellent. Plenty of food, friendly staff. Place was a little noisy. Cost of a bottle of wine bumped up the price £22per bottle of basic sav blanc. Otherwise really good. Will be back

Although the food was of an excellent standard and the two members of the serving staff were very pleasant there was simply not enough staff. This resulted in a lengthy wait between courses, the table not being cleared and potential customers being turned away because the overworked staff were not able to cope with the volume of customers. Perhaps the owners might like to rethink their staffing strategies. It seems a false economy to not provide a decent level of staff. We would certainly have spent more if we had not had to wait so long. The customers at the table next to ours certainly felt the same as they left after having twice unsuccessfully ordering a dessert. I felt the staff were in no way at fault and did a great job under very trying circumstances. Owners, you have good employees who deserve better support from you!

The table wasn’t ready. Tables hadn’t been cleared. One person in our party complained as chicken was ver hard. Service was slow and no where near the usual standard which is s great shame.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Glossy website, paper menu stapled together when you get there. Look passed this to the food. Some of the best Thai I’ve had. Check the dim sum and the satay on the starters, or do as we did and order 9 starters between 4! The please try the Penang curry, so flavoursome, rich with coconut, and perfect spice level. Staff are very friendly and warm, and the food is fresh and hand made.
