We enjoyed a great afternoon/evening celebrating a farewell. A nice memory of Brisbane Overlooking the whole city.
The food and drinks were great, service was friendly, helpful and mostly attentive. We had to wait a while towards the end of our stay to order a last drink.
Overall a great experience, thank you.
Special mention to Marco who gave us superb service 👌🏽
Incredible venue - very stylish with amazing views. Food was delicious and arrived quickly despite being told there was a 30 minute wait. Prices were reasonable considering the location but the food is definitely made to share. Could not recommend enough!
Will never eat there again. The coke was served hot. They had no cold coke. The food was horrible. The calamari was a dry as an old leather boot. No flavour. Prawns were so spicy you couldn’t catch your breath. Ribs were oily and fatty with no flavour. Extremely disappointing as this was a birthday treat for my daughter. She had looked forward to it since our Sydney trip was cancelled due to corona. Waste of money.
Amazing view, tasty food, fancy decor, good ambiance
Food was excellent and the cocktail drinks were good. I hope there were more choices for dessert
Great for lunch. Menu was excellent. Views were fantastic from any table. Good wheelchair access and friendly staff.
Great bar/restaurant with fantastic visual impact. The staff were very courteous and helpful, had been trained very well. Great seats and fab views over Brisbane CBD. The drinks menu list is extremely extensive for Champagne, gin and cocktails, was a little smaller for table wine; but I think that's because it's more of a "Champagne" or "Gin" bar, the current trend!
The food menu was limited but this is just really a bar menu as there is another large restaurant in the hotel; but not with this view! Whilst the food was great (very small,"small plates", and charcuterie board, order extra food like we did otherwise you may go hungry) ,you didn't get a lot for your dollar - hence only four stars; the drinks also were probably a little more costly than other similar venues; but they don't have the view or ultra mod decor with opening roof, underfloor lights, etc.
This was for a small family meal for my daughters 21st, birthday and all in all it could've have been a better venue. Cost is subjective to many,so I would have no hesitation in recommending this very stylish bar/restaurant. just check the menu pricing before you go!!
The food was beautiful, the staff were a bit rude to us.
Great place for a night out - good food, cocktails and wines with a lovely view. We went on a Monday night and it wasn't super busy so I was surprised by the service which was a little underwhelming.
Room is bright and light with nice level of buzz. Food was yummy and our waitress was bubbly and helpful. Our table was probably the worst location in the room and we still really enjoyed ourselves.
Note - seats were very low and we ended up sitting on cushions to make ourselves a bit higher
Beaufitul spot but shocking service. We got one drink ordered after we sat but couldn’t get any other drink service till close to the end. Was so wanting to try different gins and cocktails but alas only had two!
We asked how many prawns in the small plate and told 8- alas it came with 4. Servers don’t know the food they are serving.
One persons main was brought and no others fo at least 30 minutes. We had to ask that it be returned to the kitchen to be kept warm.
No attempt to apologise or recompense.
I will return as I hope we just had a slack waiter.
First class service, stunning food and Brisbane's best view! Thank you so much to the staff making this a lunch to remember. I can not wait to come back again. Thank you!
A little pricey but worth it due to the service and quality of food and drinks! Good place to relax or to meet up with friends for drinks.
Overall, it was a lovely experience. We had the banquet for 2. It started with great entrees of unique flavours. However, our mains were rather small. The linguine looked like it was a plate divided into 2 portion. Perhaps we had a high expectation since it fell a little flat after. Nevertheless, we still had a decent time.
Beautiful food! Wonderful location and staff. Highly recommend the banquet
Amazing food even better cocktails , best view in Brisbane .
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Terrace. We had a table inside that had a wonderful view (and was also out of the breeze). Our food was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was great. I would go back again!
Loved it! Great ambience and service to celebrate a Graduation with family 🎓 I'd definitely consider coming back
Perfect lunchtime meal and delicious cocktails to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Beautiful views of the city from the restaurant, and equally smart on the inside. Staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent and well presented too.
Great hotel and the terrace was a great dining experience
I was at the rooftop Emporium Hotel South Bank Brisbane for my birthday.
Customer services were spectacular.
Atmosfera was very delightful and relaxing
Food was 4 out of 10.
Food prices were very expensive.
I don't like fine dining if I knew that this restaurant is fine dinging with bird food I wouldn't choose to have lunch or dinner.
Food isn't worth for the money you pay I will go next time again for drinks only no food :)
If you are hungry this restaurant isn't for you :)
The Emporium Hotel South Bank Brisbane has the most spectacular view. Beautiful furnishings.
Fantastic view over Brisbane
Brilliant and attentive service, personal but not smothering.
Fabulous attractive flavourful beautiful food
The service was very slow when not that busy, the pasta that was ordered was very plain & had little crab, Asked if can get parmesan cheese & advised no which was strange for a restaurant selling pasta, the lamb was nice. The qualities of the meals didn’t match the high end prices that were charged.
Requested no chilli, first meal come with chilli, by the time I got the second meal my wife was finished. Service was hit and miss.
Ok food, great cocktails & view. Long wait times for drinks and between waiter visits as many groups stopped in for a drink and left, resulting in a highturnover for waiters. Dress code was not enforced at all, including the second group of people who sat beside us wearing thongs at dinner time. Surprising given the emphasis on adhering to dress standards when booking.
The View was amazing, as long as it was warm enough for you to be outside on the balcony inside the reflections off all the glass were so bright you couldn’t see the view outside....
I’m sorry but The Food was very overrated and a little over priced for what you got, but it was the service which was the most disappointing considering what you paid for drinks and food! The waiters we had were very young and couldn’t understand English well? Mucked up our orders a couple times both drink and food!
Beautiful views and a lovely atmosphere, our food was outstanding and the staff were so attentive and friendly.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service, fantastic food, perfect view. I felt like I had been on holidays when I left. Can’t say enough good things about the Terrace.
Stunning venue to host a meeting or special occasion and the food and service is impeccable.
Lovely setting with beautiful views.
Great cocktails and although we had planned to attend for drinks, we stayed for dinner and the food was excellent. Great flexibility from the chef for gluten free options in our group.
Given the luxurious setting, the service was surprisingly poor. Very young staff with minimal knowledge of the menu, poor memory, inattentive, avoiding eye contact for service. Perhaps better training of staff with regard to customer service would improve the otherwise very positive experience.
Unfortunately I will never eat at Emporium Terrace again.. It was my mother’s birthday and I placed the notes in the booking. This was never acknowledged on arrival or during the lunch.
The wagu beef was over cooked and the pasta was bland in flavour. I spent over $150 on lunch and was very disappointed in the food, would not recommend..
The only saving grace was the wonder wait staff who need to be commended ... very friendly and attentive..
Fabulous evening . Service was brilliant, and very Patient. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Well done , we will be back !
Sunday lunch was great. You could choose from set menu or a la carte both had lots of variety to satisfy all pallettes. Food was wonderful with a variety of flavours. Service staff were great from the moment we arrived. The staff were efficient, courteous and attentive. Overall a very pleasant lunch. We will be back again.
Spent a night there when it first opened and was lovely. So decided to go for the reopening / Father’s Day event. Was served “pub food” all deep fried and oily dishes. Was not expecting such low quality for such a beautiful spot and view. Staff were stressed and unhappy. Our waiter did not speak English and all occasions did not understand simple questions or requests. Beautiful for drinks but do not recommend eating at the terrace
Fabulous venue! We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast here the morning after our wedding. Quick service and selection of food was great.
We only went for pre-dinner drinks. The arrival greeting was good but once seated we were kept waiting to place an order. Eventually someone came and took the order. Then the drinks did not arrive, although the people next to us received theirs and they had ordered well after us. We had to remind the staff about our drinks. We were seated in the outside area as requested. However it was very cold and windy. When we asked if we could move inside we were told it was full, so we left and went somewhere else. The view is spectacular, I might go again if I had overseas/interstate visitors.
Everything was perfect.
The only dark spot was the waitress were to busy so we needed to wait for minutes to order the food.
Thank you for the honest feedback. At times things can get a bit hectic on the Terrace, we apologise for the waiting you incurred however know that our waitstaff are always trying their best to serve all our guests. We hope to see you again soon
