The Studio - Marvel Stadium
The only reason I wouldn’t recommend to somebody else is I found it too cramped and they should have left it as it was 2 years ago. Better location. The current layout looks like it is an after thought
Our total experience was great. From booking a table on-line to the generous farewell by one of the staff! We were early for the sitting we had booked, but that was no problem and we were shown to our seats by one of the nicest waitresses I have ever had. Our order was taken promptly although with no rush. Our meal was served quite quickly and was delicious - we both had steak and my daughter ordered hers rare which is often hard to please, but hers was perfect. All of the staff were lovely and it was an altogether great pleasure.
Thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at The Studio. Good value for money and service was excellent. Will definitely return - albeit next year and would certainly recommend it.
This is the second time we have eaten at the Studio and we were not disappointed .
The food was fantastic and we easily made it to our seats before the first bounce.
I will definitely be back here again .
First time diners and pleasantly surprised.
Staff were friendly
Food was as described and yummy
Our meals somehow tried to go to the wrong table but on the second attempt found us
Being able to book was fantastic
Will go again
Been to The Studio three times this year and enjoyed myself every time. Food and service exemplary.
A very pleasant experience, food good and service was excellent.
All aspects of the meal was very good except for the coffee which was bitter and was not drinkable
This was our first...and now last...experience of The Studio. Where to start. Firstly our drink orders were not correct. On looking at the menu, first impressions were that is was very basic indeed and more of a pub menu than that of a dining room, and not a great deal of choices available. Thinking it must be extremely good for the prices they are charging so reserve judgement until the food arrives. SO food arrives...as per first impressions. Very basic. I had a simple flathead and chips. 3 smallish pieces of fish arrived with a serve of chips on a board with a side salad that was swimming in dressing. All this for $32. I could have gone to the food stand and got almost the same thing for half the price. Partner had chicken parma. $28 from memory. Not great in size, and served with a handful of chips and another salad swimming in dressing. Very disappointed and from a Centre Wing member who was potentially looking to add this dining to a client day out at the footy, I would rather shout them a pie and chips from the food outlets than dine at The Studio. Incredibly disappointed and won't be back.
The location has changed since last season and now we are unable to enjoy looking out over the stadium from a great location. We used to be able to watch the game from the previous location and the doors would be opened to the EJ Whitten Bar at half time. Sorry but we won't be back. The restaurant used to be a hidden gem at Etihad/Marvel, it's ruined now.
Very limited menu, but good food and generous serves.
There was something in my glass of wine, a piece of plastic or something. I felt that a free one should have been offered when I was forced to take it back. Otherwise, chicken parma was excellent. Kids menu needs to be on the website, it's not clear that there is a kids menu which I suspect has something to do with the place being so empty on such a busy game night.
Fast and friendly service as always. Special requests catered to. Great pre-match atmosphere. Thanks for making our mother-daughter catch up feel like a fun occasion.
With the food coming out so quickly I thought it wouldn’t be very nice because it was obviously pre cooked, but it was actually very tasty.
The old set up used to be a lot better with more tables having a view of the ground however it was still good.
Unfortunately, two of the 3 dishes we ordered comprised mainly of French fries which made the coast associated with both a little expensive considering what was on the plate (chicken Parma / beer battered fish).
I miss the view that we used to get in the Arena restaurant. This was quite dark. Food was lovely though.
We went to the Studio before an AFL game to celebrate a birthday.
The venue was lovely and the food and service couldnt be faulted.
Our waitress Rachel was amazing and made our special night a real winner.
Would definately go back again for a meal before a game and if you want a nice venue to celebrate a special occassion when visiting Etihad then this is the place for you .
We had lunch here before the footy. The service was fantastic and the food excellent. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.
We found the service to be outstanding! the waitresses were very friendly and knowledgeable and the meals and drinks were prompt to arrive. The food portions were large, the food was ok! They brought out our son's dessert with a birthday candle, a lovely touch. Recommended for a meal before a footy match!
We ate here because we were meeting up for dinner before the footy on a Friday night. The service and food was great.
This is a convenient venue to dine pre match. Booking was easy. Food good.
Great service and Delicious meal. Would highly recommend to everyone
The restaurant is very convenient to grab a bite before the game. The Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming.
PRE FOOTBALL MEAL AND GET TOGETHER WITH FRIENDS. NICE ATMOSPHERE. WE ENJOYED OURMEAL
We ate there before the Game and it was really good. We relaxed and had plenty of time to eat and chat and prepare ourselves for the match. Convenient, value for money and really atttentive staff. Will definitely go back.
Enjoyed our meal at the studio before seeing Ed Sheeran.
Great night .
Eaten here many times. Great atmosphere and views of the ground. However, this time the service so SLOW. Hasn't happened before so hopefully just a once off. Will try again
A great spot to celebrate a Birthday, two years in a row in fact. We requested a table by the window and they did not disappoint, it was an awesome spot with a top view of the ground! The mood and atmosphere provide the perfect balance of a casual, chatty, catch up, and a real special treat too. The staff were superb, very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious, as it was last year too! Get the prawns! A wonderful selection of meals, the whole party had something different. Steak was cooked to perfection. Such a great place to celebrate Birthdays and footy! In fact we stuck around until half time to enjoy the bar and the view. Same time, same table next year!
FANTASTIC SPOT GREAT AMBIENCE PEOPLE SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL .
Great location and view of the ground prior to a football game. Food, however, is very ordinary. Probably only a couple of levels ahead of getting take away food at the ground. Very expensive so poor value for money.
Had a great steak. A must for any pre football night.
We had a pleasant dinner before the footy at Arena View. The staff are very friendly and helpful - lovely young people. The food was adequate and well prepared - its not gourmet or terribly special but its fine. It is a bit pricey for the level of the food but the venue is great.
The staff and food were great. Thanks to Frances who looked after us so well.
My meal was nice but very basic
Service was very quick
The servers were very nice and polite
Was in and out of there in 30min
Parma was huge and tasty.
Service was hit or miss. Lots of staff not doing much.
A limited but adequate menu. The lamb on spiced pilaf was very good, but the 'burger' was loaded with onion and chips and was very poorly executed for the money charged.
A quiet night where the service was very good.
Having dined here the week prior and being well looked after by the staff, I was very disappointed with the service this time around. The server was quick to get our initial drinks order and then attempted to rush our meal orders which seemed odd as it was relatively quiet in the restaurant. We had not just finished our entrees, with the plates still on the table, when the mains arrived and the 2nd lot of drinks ordered on receipt of the mains didn't arrive until after finishing our mains.
We received our entree's but they had "misplaced' the docket and therefore forgot our mains until we reminded them. Food came up reasonably quickly after that but we had to rush as it was nearly game time. A complimentary round of drinks was offered as an apology.
Enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant before watching our footy team do battle. Booked on OpenTable greeted and shown to a great table. Meal was delicious and service was attentive without being over the top.
Excellent service and location to watch the footy from.
