The Station Restaurant
So my wife and I have been to The Station several times and love it. When restaurant seating finally opened up they were at the top of our list and they didn't disappoint. The service was excellent, the food (shrimp fradiavlo, parm. Crusted chicken) were delicious. Can't wait to go back.
First time there...beautiful patio, friendly staff, good food and even decor when you go inside to restrooms! Would definitely recommend!
Excellent food service and atmosphere. Can not wait to try the outside seating when it gets warmer out.
Served wrong glass of wine; had to wait for second round of drinks, wrong soup served. Veal tasted off. Wife’s seafood dish was blah and oily. My fathers meal looked good and was good. Cappuccino was excellent at end of the night. Been here several times. Chalking it up to a bad night.
Excellent service and food quality. We introduced our friends to this place on this night and they loved it, too!
Good restaurant. Prices on average. Dinner for four adults with one app, two bottles of wine and our dinners was just under $200 not including tip. We’ll go back. 👍
Great service and food. Excellent value for what you get. Our table had 4 different apps and they were great!
Our waitress was a sweetheart, food was delicious will definitely be back
We have been here several times and it is always consistently very good. That explains why it is so crowded. The staff are friendly and polite and service is good. The food portions are very large, enough for two meals for us. We have taken friends from out of town and they love the ambiance of the old train station renewed as a lovely restaurant and very convenient off of Route 8.
Appetizers were very good came out quickly my wife’s entree was delicious mine tasted well also -all though I ordered my steak medium rare it came out well done which was unfortunate she told me to send it back but I’m not like that I understand stuff happens especially since it was Valentine’s Day and very busy overall pleasant experience we may come back
It was the first time we have eaten here and all 4 of us loved our meals, great place, I’ve recommended it already.
We've been here several times and never have been disappointed!
Only two complaints the soup crocks have cracks and when we said said it was well that’s how many of them are and soda’s are not free refills.
Now the positive the food was amazing!!!! And we got a ton of it! The building was the old train station so worth going to for that alone.
It was fine, just not outstanding in any way
Great New Year’s Eve dinner ! Food was delicious. Quick service.
Love the ambiance - drinks were good, food was plenty. A great experience.
Love the atmosphere. The staff is amazing Food selection is great. Will come back again.
We have never had a bad dinner and have been going to the Station since they opened. The menu recently changed and they increased the prices a bit. When they are very busy it does get very noisy. The service is always great as is the food.
Meeting with old friends
The food and drinks were great.
Been there three times every time it’s been amazing !
Nice atmosphere. Old train station. Casual, but nice.
I have been there a few times before Ann on Thanksgiving , I think that they did a lot right to make a very enjoyable dining experience. Our server, Nicole, was wonderful. The portions were more than adequate, in fact two of the diners had leftovers. The turkey dinner was fine, although there was mainly the darker meat.

My wife & I tried the station for the first time on Saturday. Easy access for handicap. Seated immediately. Friendly staff. Nice specials and good beer selection. We started with the Spicey shrimp appetizer. The U-15 shrimp were served with shell-on. The sauce made it messy for peel & eat, but it had great flavor. Served with the table bread which was soft and fresh. We both ordered the Zuppa de Pesci. The platter was hugh. We had 3 meals per order including leftovers. Great tasting sauce. Entree also included soup or salad. I had the New England clam chowder ( soup of the day), best tasting chowder I have had in a long time in CT. My wife had a mixed salad, she said it was fresh and just the right size. We treated ourselves to the pumpkin cheese cake, which was rich & creamy like pumpkin ice cream. Pleasant night out. Will be back to try a steak.

Nice lunch spot. Great atmosphere and service. Food ok.
This was our first time at the restaurant.
We LOVE this restaurant BUT - service is so sketchy - every time! Waiter disappears. Others appear - always with smiles and pleasant, but I find myself flagging staff down - EVERY TIME! The food, location and ambiance is fabulous - best filet mignon I have ever had! I continue to return, but I so wish the staff could get it together!
We went there for my birthday dinner. Everything was perfect!!! The staff was beyond nice. The food was out of this world, we would have ordered dessert but we were stuffed. Even the drinks were great. I would recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!!!
Good food and beautiful setting and great service. Will return soon.
Our service and the appetizers were excellent. Unfortunately, the main courses fell very short. Only one person in our party of six enjoyed their meals. The filet mignons were ordered medium and were served well done. The steak au poivre was made with inferior quality rib eyes and a sauce that resembled and had the consistency of southern fried steak gravy. The peppercorns had little to no flavor. More than likely very old or stale. We collectively all decided we won't be frequenting the Station Restaurant again. Very disappointed to say the least.
Beautiful decor. Very good parking. Food was excellent and very good portions. Stuffed mushrooms and zucchini flowers were delicious as an appetizer. Veal saltimbucca was excellent as was the salmon.
I was very disapointed with the eggplant rolatini. Ii was more like a soup.....not an eggplant. Too much sauce and cheese. Was a liquified dinner. I needed a spoon to eat it, not a fork.
We were there with a group of 8. Very attentive staff. Food was excellent and plentiful. I should have chosen the onion soup instead of the salad - it looked amazing. My chicken saltimbocca was very tasty, my sons enjoyed the captain’s platter. I knew this building as the train station from back in the day. They did a beautiful restoration . Nice to see life in this part of town.
Good for big party, very good food and service!!!!
Lunch with 3 friends. Sandwiches were good, turkey clubs, pastrami Reuben and a BLT.
Very noisy, we were seated near the bar. I asked for a different seat and none were available.
Food and service were above excellent!
This is an excellent spot situated off of Route 8. Our dinner didn’t miss a beat and our server was very kind and generous. When there was a slight issue with the cheesecake preparation, we were alerted before it was served and it was removed from our bill without asking. No matter how nice of a place you dine at, small mistakes come up. The difference is made when the establishment preemptively exceeds expectations to remedy the situation. Thank you!
