The Squire’s Landing Bar - Sydney

Can’t beat the view and ok range of beers (but wish there was a mid strength lager rather than just pale ale!) food choices are limited but the grilled fish was excellent. BBQ Salad sadly was not.

We enjoyed our lunch at Squires Landing. The location was fabulous with views of the Opera house, Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. The food was tasty and the service was good. Our little granddaughter enjoyed the freedom to run around and it was a totally enjoyable family lunch.

The location, the views and the ambience are amazing, unfortunately the food and the premix cocktails let them down.

My husband enjoyed the beer. The location was great. The food was ok pub food at the best. I’m not sure why but the sauces were also rationed.

Steak was a huge let down, went for my birthday lunch and was very disappointed

Food was excellent, toilets exceptionally clean. Very good value for money with a superb view!
Children’s change table needs an upgrade, fitted to the wall rather than Free standing due to not being very sturdy and moving a lot when changing my baby.

In these Times, it was the perfect afternoon, great beer,great staff & all done with covid safety requirements. Top it all off a solo guitarist playing covers & a view that's would satisfy any critic the hustle bustle of the ferrie's of the greatest Harbour in the world.

Pretty average food so couldn't expect much for the brews n views. I'd only recommend coming here for the beers and the chips. All of the food we've had is fairly average which is a shame considering the views

Personally food wasn’t good and the cocktails was small and expensive.

The venue and view is fantastic. Unfortunately the service has a lot to be desired. We tried to do the right thing and use the table ordering function but 2 drinks took longer than 20 minutes to be served (and that’s only because we went inside and picked it up ourselves).
The staff didn’t seem interested in any interactions which was disappointing. We won’t be back.

We went for Xmas lunch, arrived restaurant at 12.30pm so it was pretty quiet and nice. We ordered a shared platter it was delicious. There are large varieties of beers and other beverages to choose from, love the atmosphere, staff are nice and friendly.

Generally just an average experience all round! I find the wine selection over priced with little idea of whether it will be good or not due to no available information.

There was hair in my food and servers were thin on the ground, no check backs to see if everything is ok but the servers are pleasant and lack of staff is likely due to the current climate.

It’s best feature is it’s location.

The App download for the ordering took some time and no other option offered (suggest you download prior to arriving). After that the services beer and food was excellent.

The food is good - just expensive for what is really just pub grub with a view. Staff are friendly but the on table ordering system [after you download the app] is not so user friendly. Can't help thinking it would be soooo much easier if the plenty of floor staff could take orders rather than just delilver. Tried to open a bar tab a couple of times but that proved difficult also. All in all - OK for an occaision - just not a special one.

Smashed glass on the floor, no one cleared it up. The porter draught was a bit rubbish - no flavour, was it fresh?

Worth it for the view. Don’t bear from a burger and chips though!

OK, but you could not order spirits from the table ordering app, so it a bit pointless having this service as you had to keep ordering half the parties drink order from the bar.

Food was a little over priced for the quality but drinks were well priced and great.

We were given a great table inside next to the glass wall with great views. My impression was that everyone can see the harbour from inside by the way the layout & table height.

Overall nice venue with lovely views however we found staff to be somewhat unfriendly. On arrival we were not told where our table was, a staff member only pointed outside and when we sat down we were told we were at the wrong table. We asked for menus and were given 3 menus between a group of 12 people. None of the group had been before so would have been helpful for staff to mention that you needed to order from the bar.

The noise inside the venue was at a level where normal conversation was very difficult. A subsequent move outside, easily organised with pleasant staff member, made for a more pleasant atmosphere. Service was confusing initially with an "App" requiring to be downloaded for service before it became apparent that bar service was available. Not explained on entering premises. Food was delivered quickly but tables not cleared.

Was very disappointed with the food. We come here quite often and brought friends who have never been, however we were disappointed at the food as many menu options were not available.

Great views, good service, definitely a fun spot to catch up with friends in Sydney!

Christmas lunch

Excellent every time I've been. Bit pricey is all but given Covid, not complaining. Will definitely re-visit.
