Always great drinks and light food, but what makes the Roosevelt special is their incredible staff. Six stars to you!
The service was excellent, welcoming and helpful. The Sunday roast was delicious. The background music was relaxing and enjoyable. A great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Great ambience, feels like you’re stepping into a Parisian bar and interesting cocktails
Steak grisly / fatty at end
Great cocktails, really worth the money! Not as expensive as I thought it would be
No split bills is a pain: I understand you don’t want ‘he had that, we had this’ kind of split, but 50/50 between 2 parties is normal and fair. It will be impossible to come again with friends if this policy is not changed
Ours was a team event (12 patrons) for a birthday celebration and special event gathering. It was easy to book a table, and the staff were fantastic in catering to our needs.
Naomi & her team did the most absolutely amazing job in the evening of Mother's Day.
Huge helpings of different vegetables. You will never regret going there but perhaps try & chose your table beforehand as we did do. A lovely hospitable environment.
The food was bad, nothing was very tasty at all out of all the 4 dishes I ordered, and the menu was so minimal.
Main room was a little hot and stuffy, my partner made the same comment.
Wine list is decent, service is decent, friendly staff for greeting and departing. A bit noisy but mainly due to the table next to us. Conversation with my partner was a little strained due to noise, not great for an intimate bar experience, better in a group.
Nice Cocktails Shame about the Service
We were a party of 6 and waited for at least half an hour before a drinks order was even taken. The staff who were there were very apologetic, but unfortunately that didn't excuse the mis-management of what could be a really fabulous place.
The bar and ambiance was great, vibey, fun and good music. Food selections limited - go for drinks and maybe some fries!
It's a shame to see a bar with so much potential being so understaffed and badly managed.
Great cocktail bar! Excellent busy/buzzy vibe with delicious and interesting drinks served with style - highly recommended
Loved it! Dinner and a show excellent food excellent cocktails would recommend I love it.
After looking for a venue for my upcoming milestone birthday, The Roosevelt kept coming up in my search results. So tonight I organized a couple of my girlfriends to come check it out with me, and it has everything and more that I’m looking for to celebrate.
The ambience harks back to the old clubs of the 50’s and music ranged from 50’s jazz through to 70’s funk and disco as the evening moved on.
A fabulous array of cocktails and wines for us to choose from. Had my man been with us he would have been incredible happy with the extensive whiskey menu!
Tonight we chose to share a heap of entrees and the servings were plentiful and excellent quality.
The wait staff were fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome.
I’m looking forward to taking my man there and hoping they are available for my planned party later in the year.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Amazing friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our night. Loved it will be back again soon.
Amazing cocktails and service was amazing. Good value for money
Jamie was customer service personified! We had a great time at The Roosevelt, and the food and drinks were wonderful.
The Roosevelt has a unique atmosphere. It's intimate, sexy and low key. With charming staff adding a bit of fun to the experience.
Fantastic as always. Thank you Jamie for looking after us so well.
What a great place for a pre-dinner drink. Well priced wine and cocktail list. Older crowd. Exceptional service - everyone was friendly, bubbly and happy to have a chat.
Naomi was super helpful and easy to work with to secure us a group booking, and place us in a private room which was really special for my mums 60th birthday celebration. Everyone had a fantastic time - drinks were delicious, service was friendly, and food was tasty! Thanks so much to the whole team, especially Naomi!
Fantastic cocktails, great service and really fun ambience
was awesome on the whole but the free cocktails were pretty below average, the ceviche was a little too salty (abd i like my food salty), the avocado and mushroom was a little overly spicy but i'm nitpicking, the whole meal was awesome vibes and a perfect valentine's day
did feel like service was a bit slow and a bit hard to get a waiters attention but everything else was AMAZING
Great food. Great ambiance.
We went to The Roosevelt for an after dinner cocktail. What a delight it was to enter such a beautiful bar and diner. We had delicious cocktails -- the decor, service and ambience were fabulous. First time for us and our guests, but will definitely be returning very soon!
Love the Roosevelt! Handling the pandemic measures well, too.
Celebrated my birthday at the Rosevelt. Thank you for the excellent service and playing ABBA in the end for me. I am definitely coming back.
Food is great! But I go for uplifting music and service xx
A definite 1920s feel for a fantastic cocktail bar that serves great food.
Food was great, the cocktails were amazing and the staff lovely, had a great experience
Great place for a few drinks with friends, great atmosphere, noisy but just adds to the experience
Such a great vibe from a historical bar in Kings Cross. Will never tire of going here, and definitely recommend it to friends, families, couples, or anyone!
Not as good as it used to be
Great cocktails, great food, great service, will be back!
Came here for my mum's bday with a group of 8. First impressions were good, nice venue, good music. Took forever for them to take orders for first drinks and food. Huge long gaps in between. Two ppl ordered steaks that came out cold and was not served until 15 mins before close (very late considering it was a 2hr booking), and two of us ordered salmon and were both sick the day after. Texted the following day to report tummy pains from the food, and no one bothered to respond
Doubt we'll be back. Very disappointing 😔
We had a booking for 4pm and were running late. They were so hospitable and friendly. Drinks always fantastic as usual. Service impeccable. We will be back.
Great cocktail bar with a history. Some spectacular cocktails- we started the night here and ate elsewhere
Met up with a couple who have recently moved to the Central Coast from Erko. Had drinks before dinner. Really great place a have a fabulous cocktail.
