Excellent service, beautiful location and atmosphere would definitely recommend to everybody
Great food and such a beautiful place to be. Will definitely be back
The noise level was extremely high, it was very difficult to conduct a conversation with someone on the other side of the table. Flies were coming in all the time when the door was left open. No toilets inside you had to go outside for the toilet. Friends came from out of town, one friend from Bendigo, I don't think that they were impressed.
Enjoyed the breakfast menu and sitting out on the deck
Great food, great service, best chips i have ever had
Highly recommend to everyone in Albury Wodonga and nearby places.
I come here often. That is a reference in itself. On my recommendation, three friends had the fries.
Absolutely amazing food and experience every time we eat there.
I love the cafe. but the menu could have less trendy cuisine ideas too. my hamburger was so so.
i like a beef class hamburger...the chicken fried was difficult to eat...too chunky...
Sometimes classic salads, classic gnocchi etc...traditional is good with a mix of nouveau
went for my daughters birthday as her choice. Excellent food. They put a candle on a muffin for us to sing happy birthday, she loved it
Clean, bright location with lots to see outside. Positioned on the mighty Murray River, surrounded by people moving.
Fresh, quality, often local, food in contemporary combinations. Excellent menu. Timely, friendly service.
Always a treat!
It was a cold blustery day, so a table indoors by the fire was perfect. Service was brisk, polite and attentive. The food was well prepared and displayed on the plate. Nice variety in the wine list. Would like to see a little more variety in the dessert menu - but this was lunch, so maybe it's more restricted? In any case, I had the Chocolate Fondant(?) which was way too big for one. It's a VERY rich and sweet dessert and therefore benefits from a more modest serving size, in my opinion.
Something I found difficult was the noise level. I'm not a sound expert, but if something can be done to reduce the intensity of noise in this dining room, I think it would be money well worth spending.
Overall, though, the River Deck experience was very enjoyable. My friends and I will be back - especially when the weather improves!
Great venue to have lunch and a chat on a lovely spring afternoon.
A plus, lunch with the family was yummy. Thank you
Exceptional, an amazing experience with nothing to fault at all. Thank you @TheRiverdeck. Looking forward to our next visit.
I had eaten breakfast here some time ago and my experience was not a good one. Therefore I had not been to the café for awhile but decided to have another go and I was not disappointed. Service was much better and I got my English breakfast tea as soon as I ordered it unlike last time where I had to ask for it several times and got it given to me with a request to leave because the table was booked for someone else. Much better experience.
Recently visited for our mums 80th. Great service and ambience. Very accommodating , highly recommend
The River Deck has such a beautiful setting, and the lunch menu was quite special. And very delicious. Mushroom ricotta gnocchi got high praise as did lamb pie.
Top notch service, menu /food,ambiance,and at a very reasonable price....what more can one ask of this 1st class venue .
Have been several times and always had a good experience. Great service and lovely food. Has a great view as well.
Great service, food is beautiful & location is perfect. My daughter and I had a lovely lunch at the Riverdeck!
Beautiful food, wonderful service and great coffee.
A wonderful place to catch up with friends
A fabulous location - especially pretty outlook with the autumn leaves. Food was delicious and the staff were great.
We visit every time we are in Albury and take our whole family there. It’s is wonderful at anytime of the year...
Our visitors thought Riverdeck was outstanding. We thought it was a good as usual - food, service and location are great.
Lovely place, friendly staff and great tasty food although the fish of the day (fillet) was a small portion, love the heaters on the balcony and basket of blankets for use if you feel the cold.
fantastic food and service which we really enjoyed
Our waitress Brooke was outstanding, she was very attentive and helpful. The food was superb so a thumbs up to the chefs. A great way to spend a Mother's Day dinner. Thank you.
Had friends visiting Albury and booked to have lunch at the River Cafe. Couldn’t fault it!!! Would definitely recommend it and will look for an excuse to visit again asap. A highly recommended dining experience. (Excellent food and coffee)
Delicious food, great options, amazing service, awesome location. We will be back!
A lovely spot on the river. We had requested a deck table when making a reservation, but this seemed to have been missed. It was easily rectified. As usual the food was delicious and the choice varied but not too large. Outside the noise level was great. Inside is a problem for people with hearing issues, and I heard other diners comment on this as well. I am pleased to see this as a consideration when making a review. Though last time we were there, one of the other tables had very loud people with no thought for other diners. Though this can happen anywhere. We enjoyed our lunch, and the break in our journey. We will always make a booking when doing the same trip,
A great little spot for lunch, modern, very friendly staff and great food. Nice parkland beside restaurant overlooking the river.
We returned 5 meals as they had all been overcooked and very dry. 2 of us ordered gnocchi which had been rated highly by one of the guests a couple of weeks ago and replaced them with Hamburgers as one of the guests was half way through hers and it looked delicious which also said it was, the 2 hamburger replacements came out overcooked and dry also buns where burnt so not a great experience.
Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our table by friendly happy staff ,water was given to us within minutes , our order was taken within a reasonable time and the very delicious breakfast meals were outstanding. The coffees were really enjoyable and ahhh. !!!.Scenery of the Murray River and surrounds were peaceful and we all went for a walk in the area after breakfast. Would recommend The River deck Café ,and look forward to going there again in the future.
Cheers Elizabeth and Peter, Tammie and Hanna.
Nice relaxed vibe with a view of the river food was totally amazing, would definitely recommend.
Service excellent food very very good Excellent amount of food
Fabulous food with wonderful service - great atmosphere
Once again The River Deck Cafe delivered. The food and coffee was great. The venue was chosen for breakfast with friends from Coffs Harbour because of the great location looking over the Murray River and because previous visits have been fantastic. I was please that I wasn't disappointed by my choice.
Pleasing homely ambience.
Extremely courteous and efficient service.
Absolutely delicious meals, coffee and hot chocolate.
A little expensive, but all other positives make up for this.
Would visit the restaurant again.
