We had a delicious Sunday lunch at The Queen's Inn. We really enjoyed the three meat roast and the vegetarian wellington and the pear tarte-tatin was delicious. We were really well looked after and the social distancing was carefully thought through. Thank you so much!

Mistake on the "starters" but rectified but then we were served the wrong mains - luckily we spotted this, and the table it was meant for were paying attention, no harm done again mistake rectified. Hence 1 star dropped. Great 'anniversary' surprise at the end of the meal which was unexpected but lovely.

Fine for a pleasant midweek meal out, not particularly special if you are looking for a special occasion. Food was well presented if a little uninspiring.

First visit to this pub. Had the tabouleh salad. Wow! It was delicious! Fresh, tasty, substantial, so good we’re coming back tonight!

In Kent for 5 nights and we ate here twice because the food was excellent, the staff
very efficient and friendly.
We liked it so much we are thinking of staying in the hotel on our next visit.

The food was excellent. Venison and pork ribs. Mini starters v good too. The welcome and service were impressive and upbeat. The tables are sparse and the dining area rather lacking in ambience but the food and service would have us returning no doubt. Fair pricing.

Food & service great ,but the smell of sulphur ( bad drains ),,that you couldn’t get away from , which the waitress said they having problems with ,was horrendous .

I love the Sunday lunches at the Queens Inn and usually these are great. I went last Sunday and felt a bit short changed as the roast was smaller than usual. I didn't want a huge dinner but was certainly smaller than usual which was a little disappointing as I usually receive better. however, it won't stop me coming to the Queens Inn as the food is always of excellent standard and the service is always great.

We went for my partner’s birthday they had beautiful food in generous portions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were presented at the end of our meal with a free dessert and two free glasses of Prosecco. The mood of the restaurant is relaxed and the decorations help the mood. Lots of relaxing, quirky items. The price was good and we would definitely come back.

Ive never had a bad meal at the Queens Inn. Roast is gorgeous and we had fish and chips and it was delicious. would recommend this place. Lovely staff, always friendly and a really nice pub. Open fire. You can sit outside if the whether is nice and the service is great.

Fantastic service. Staff went the extra mile making up a happy birthday dessert plate with a complimentary glass of fizz to help me celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Very special extra touch. Food was delicious and staff attentive. Great experience!

Beautiful room, very well appointed, super-comfy bed. Food was delicious, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Fresh milk delivered to your room in the morning was a lovely touch!

We've eaten twice in the last week at The Queen's Inn and both times did not disappoint. The service was great - particular mention must go to our waitress, Hannah - she was very attentive and professional. The new tapas menu was fabulous - a good choice and everything delicious. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian all well catered for. Top marks all round. Thank you Queen's. We will be back soon!

Extremely friendly, prompt and welcoming service. There were only a few tables, well-spaced, and separate to the bar area. Quiet, warm surroundungs. Good was tasty, good portions and good value for money.

Felt that not enough attention was being paid to Corona virus safety measures, in general.
Felt really uncomfortable with waiting staff leaning in and over us, without them wearing any sort of mask or shield.
The bar area felt crowded with younger generation out for a drink.

On the positive side, we enjoyed our food and drinks, and prices were appropriate. We would definitely return, but after Covid.

The best roast I’ve ever had and it’s consistently excellent. The service is second to non with a great atmosphere the space is always very clean and welcoming.

Delicious meal and friendly service from Bryce in relaxed gastropub surroundings. Main course was really great. Starters felt a little humdrum in comparison though.

We were very impressed by the service and general management of this place. We ate two excellent pizzas and side salads. It's understandably busy on a Saturday night. Make sure your table isn't near ill behaved children.! We had to move!

Lovely warm and friendly staff, and a very good tapas menu. Main menu could do with a few more staples maybe but everything I’ve had in there since reopening (6 or 7 visits) has been of a very high quality indeed.

We love the Queens whether just for a drink, eating in or the lovely take-away pizzas. Food is always amazing and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly.

The food was very good and the service was quick and efficient. The restaurant was pleasantly busy but not crowded.

We sat by the kitchen and it did get smelly and smokey when the kitchen staff fried some bacon.

First time at the queens head, warm welcome on arrival, friendly staff, 3 roast dinners and one burger, roast dinner was ok, not the biggest portion was slightly disappointed the pork was a belly cut rather than from a roast cut, small roast potatoes but the accompanying vegetables where very tasty
The burger was enjoyed and served with fries and onion rings looked a better choice than the roast
