Good venue, great food but not the place you want to go if you want to have an easy listening conversation
Loved the Airlie Beach Hotel. We went on State of Origin night and on Sunday night to the acoustic guitar session. Both nights were extremely busy but the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I requested a particular table for Origin and although there were only two of us and it was a table for four they kindly let us have it. Thought the value for money was excellent as you could go up to the buffet as many times as possible. Loved the salmon. Would definitely go back to the Pub when we are in the area again and have already recommended it to friends and family.
Great customer service and entertainment
Very disappointed with the service from the reservation man. He was very rude and condescending. Another worker helped with our very minor issue which worked out well. Food is average, drinks are overpriced. Many other preferable options to eat and drink in Airlie Beach.
Great service, atmosphere and bar and food. Dei ks were co superbly more expansive than other areas of the town
Thank you for helping me with my request to add 2 extra guests to my booking when I couldn’t do so online.
Brilliant day. Made my wife’s 40th a day to remember.
This was our 2nd visit at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint again. The food was great followed by goid service. Will be back.
Busy hotel with bookings required. Food was very good but prices of food and alcohol were quite high for a pub. 2 mains and 2 rounds of drinks (beer & wine) with no change from $100 is closer to restaurant prices. Pizza and salt & pepper squid was delicious. Most diners including ourselves were tourists.
Queued for 20 minutes but eventually gave up as we were nowhere near the front. Can't comment on the food as we moved on. This was despite having a reservation.
Very friendly and great service
Happy to pay the exhorbedent prices as the meal was delicious! $23.85 for 2 drinks us a bit rich though...
Food and drinks are over priced for quality, also super busy so food took around 1.5 hours to come out. Wasn’t bad but wouldn’t go back or recommend to a friend
9 of us stayed 3 nights at The Pub and it was FANTASTIC!! Special mention to Andy, Rowley & Christian who went above and beyond for us the whole time. We will definately be back :)
After going to Airlie Beach Hotel quite a few times we never had a problem but after last weekend’s dinner reservation balls up we won’t be going back for quite awhile.
It was our last night stay in Airlie Beach, there was 4 of us, 2 ordered chicken snitty, which was cold & extremely fatty through out. Other than that it was fine
Everything was awesome except we had to wait over an hour for our food.
Awesome feed awesome views awesome music best pub ever
Steak had no taste and was very chewy but everything else was fine a bit disappointing on the surf and turf
Meal was good value but drink prices excessive for hotel prices. $21 for schooner of beer and a bottle of soft drink. Eat but don't drink too much.
Its was the place to be I was told.
Intoxicated patrons being obnoxious and rude dampen the experience.
Food was not that great and the order was wrong.
Ill explore other options in airlie next visit .
We ate out at 4 other locations during my visit they were far better food wise and at managing their patrons for the enjoyment of everyone.
The family couldn’t of been happier with our experience at The Pub. All staff were lovely, great environment. Food was delicious. Was a bit on our the louder side but we expected that and loved it. Great work guys!
Attended the venue on a friends weekend away, booked a table for the Women who Rock show.
I arrived at 11:32am and by the time I was seated was rudely told that I was 10 mins late. The rest of my party where to following me shortly.
10 mins past and I was once again told that if my guests didn’t arrive by a certain time I would lose the table - a couple of other tables were told the same thing.
I understand that people stuff venues around but when as a party you are looking at spending a substantial amount of $$ on food and drink I would expect not spoken too in that manner.
The staff member , Christian , may want to learnt to speak to patrons a little nicer if he wants them to return.
PS the show was awesome!
Far too noisy Would not revisit. Service is good. We had a table of eight and could not hold a conversation.
Meals were priced well for what I consider “pub food”
Cost of drinks on the other hand was ridiculous over priced
Fantastic would recommend again and again to all my friends
Great venue to eat.Good Value and good service. We would go back
Staff did a great job as it was so busy and food was great
Christian as always very helpful. Food great and service spot on.
Best atmosphere in Airlie Beach. Awesome live music events and great outdoor area. Food is delicious, though food and drinks could be a bit cheaper. Service is always top and special thanks to host Andy for making it an incredibly special weekend for us. He looked after us very well.
Went for our anniversary but only found an abusive and rude manager.so we walked out and ate somewhere else. Other reviews give similar problems. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
Fantastic atmosphere and incredible staff to bring an amazing experience overall. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you
We really enjoyed our experience at the Pub. The salad and dessert buffet were great to go with our meals. Staff were very attentive, Sam was lovely and really helpful since it was our first visit. Cocktails were also delicious.
Good location..unclear about ordering procedure and buffet..very crowded & loud..bar staff excellent..polished wine glasses before pouring wine.
The lunchtime live band music was so loud we couldn't talk across the table and as we had brought our young child to the family catch up we were forced to leave early. When we tried to speak to staff members about it we were told "its what we do every other day so bad luck"
The garlic prawn pot was awful. Trying to be too clever with huge prawns that were not fresh and not enough oil or garlic. Not eatable
Large meals, that included a salad and desert bar.
Great food and atmosphere as always! We were very rushed to leave our table though which annoyed us all. Felt like we were being stared at and hurried to eat.
