The atmosphere was very upbeat- a great spot for a lovely dinner, or drinks with friends.
The live music was a great addition and really set the mood/atmosphere.
The decor/set up was very modern and suited the vibe of the restaurant perfectly.
We have recommended this venue to all of our family and friends and we will certainly be back!

There was a lack of service in the beer garden and queues waiting for drinks were too long, many staff were not proactive either - private dining experience is much better

Unfortunately the food was pretty ordinary, seemed like they’d were overwhelmed, bar service was slow even though there appeared to be several staff not doing much.
Only one register to take orders seems like an oversight.

Great location, food and excellent service. Visited a week after we came out of lockdown and miss the ususal amazing vibe it has but that will return as the restrictions ease. The service and professionalism in dealing with the COVID restrictions was great and the staff were so friendly. Glad to be back there and will be visiting again.

I ordered chicken parmigiana
It was not hot in the middle and it had no flavour. Had to ask for salt looked and tasted like it was slapped together. So dissatisfied.
Ordered lemon lime bitters it was made with soda water and had no taste.
My guest also had the same issue with their food, they ordered battered fish and it was all batter. None of us finished our meals apart from the fries.

It's always great at The Precinct! We are regular customers who always enjoy a positive experience. From the friendly staff, to the diverse menu options to value for money..it's our 'go to' for business lunches, team building drinks and entertaining clients alike.

We had dinner in the dining area. The service was great and the food was even better. It did get noisy, but they closed the doors and that muffled the sound abit.

Thank you so much, it was great to be able to get a lovely, quick meal before the show at Rod Laver Arena. The parma special was great value and tasted awesome the happy hour was a bonus too! Ella gave great friendly service which completed the evening nicely. We'll be back.

The steak was pretty chewy. But for Tuesday Steak Night, what can you expect? Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. A little noisy. Great location for before attending a concert at Rod Laver Arena.

We had a wonderful experience at this Hotel. Even though I had mixed up the booking the staff (Adam) bent over backwards to accommodate us with a table on a very busy night but it did not stop there. His table service was excellent the food was great and we didn’t have to wait to long with a nice though noisy atmosphere, there was a game on at the MCG.

Went to the Precinct Hotel for Fri night dinner. Southern-fried Chicken Burgers were a hit, accompanied by a generous serve of chips. Steak Sandwich was great. Service was friendly & quick. Would recommend - we enjoyed it.
