At The Pocket Espresso Bar we’re about smiles. As it so happens, we also serve delicious food, next-level Guru coffee and crafty cocktails. Rejuvenate while enjoying stunning beach views of Moffat Beach or escape to our tropical courtyard while the kids run riot. Our food is made to make you happy on the inside. Think - fancy takeaways with a swish of pizzazz. From breakfast through to dinner - we are obsessed with food, coffee and anything alcoholic. Supporting other local businesses is important to us and we do this through our produce, our coffee, our beers.

    Loved trivia! The renovations, and garden are bright and cozy. The menu had great vegan options, however, some weren’t available. We decided to order the curry with a vegan option, then we’re told it isn’t strictly vegan and had shrimp paste in the sauce (we appreciate being told). The crispy eggplant and corn ribs were tasty.

    We got seated right at the door to the outside area, everytime the door opened a freezing breeze came in. We were over charged for beers that got missed and then re ordered. The refit isnt great, the old layout was much better. Apart from the food being good, which it would want to be for a prices, theres not much going for this place.

    Good food, wait staff more interested in talking to each other than attending to customers. 20 min. to get a beer unreasonable in my book. Very noisy = kills conversation. Otherwise good. I will certainly go back.

    The staff are so beautiful at the pocket. There weren't any mocktails on the menu and I was wanting one Bing pregnant, they sussed out what I liked with cocktails and went from there, even offering to remake if I didn't like it. Very helpful with ordering and nothing is ever too much trouble. Fun vibe, with local bands playing.

    Amazing food. Large portions for what you pay and super tasty. They had a band/singer playing on the night and we were sitting right underneath a loudspeaker so it was really loud (could hardly hear people at our table and had to shout). Nothing bad though and will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

    First time dining in the restyled eatery, wife and I had lunch main meals, excellent modern meals. Can’t wait to return to try the lighter menu, they also looked awesome. Great service and atmosphere.

    We were excited to try the new menu and cocktails however sadly we were very disappointed. The cocktails were overpriced and the food was mediocre. The service however was fast and friendly. The old vibe and layout will be missed.

    Hey Thom, Thanks for letting us know your feedback. Great news, the curry has been revised and I think you'll be very happy with the update. It's got way more punch and when you add in that succulent melt in your mouth lamb, it's a great dish. We hope you can come back sometime and test it!

    Sorry but found the lunch menu super disappointing. I am pescatarian and found the menu very limited. Cauliflower bao were bland and tiny and my husbands Penang chicken was just half a chicken with no rice or greens. Difficult to share when I do not eat meat. Sorry to see the lovely rustic retro booths go. Hope that the coconut lime margarita are still there as will try to come back for those but won’t eat given the current limited menu.

    Super friendly and welcoming. Vibe is funky and fun and quirky. Mths good and drinks were delicious. I can highly recommend this place if you want a good vibe and fantastic food.

    If your looking for a vibrant engertic place with fantastic food and a great variety of Gluten Free options then this is the place for you, if your looking for quiet and intimate, not the place for you. They offer 3 different options of seating areas, can't wait to go back again and try the outside area at the back. The only issue was they were so busy that they had sold out of some of the menu options, but overall WE LOVED IT!!!
