At The Pocket Espresso Bar we’re about smiles. As it so happens, we also serve delicious food, next-level Guru coffee and crafty cocktails. Rejuvenate while enjoying stunning beach views of Moffat Beach or escape to our tropical courtyard while the kids run riot.     Everything about our dining experience was perfection. The table staff were so genuine, friendly and accommodating. Loved it all!

    Always outstanding, food is delicious and not just the normal menu you see everywhere. Always walk away stoked with the service and how everyone makes you feel. Best coffee and great cocktails too. Great for breakfast but if you’re after brunch or lunch THIS IS THE SPOT❤️ mix of Asian fusion and just top quality staples. Come to the pocket I’m always amazed ❤️

    I actually hate to say but our family breakfast was somewhat average. By the amount of people eating in there I expected better. Certainly wasn't disappointing but didn't tick all the right boxes either. So, the four meals were 2 big breakfast, bacon and eggs, bacon and eggs with tomatoes. Scrambled eggs were very dry, we asked for Turkish bread but the only option was sourdough. Sourdough was tough to say the least. No salt or pepper on the table, so we asked for some and received an empty salt bottle! On the positive, bacon was super tasty, coffee and service was ace.

    I don’t mean this lightly but I genuinely think this is the best restaurant on the Sunny Coast <3 GREAT staff, GREAT food, GREAT coffee xx

    Pocket espresso was really good. It’s convenient to be able to book a table for breakfast within 12 hrs. Our server was a blonde girl who was very polite, friendly most helpful with our baby. Coffee was amazing and those Turkish eggs had just the right amount of heat. The only strange incident was about 2 mins after we paid we were standing out the front waiting for the rain to clear and another girl who didn’t serve us ran up to us and said we needed to pay which was weird. Maybe people have eaten there and walked out without paying before and the girl is trying to stop that from happening again.

    Great service as always , curry was tasty and plenty … spicy margarita was spot on! Was a little cool in the garden maybe more outdoor heaters needed - I did book a table inside but ended up outside but overall that didn’t take away from the food n service

    The Pocket is always a great time, the meals are on point, menu has great variety and caters for gluten free. The cocktails are best we’ve had anywhere in the world especially their version of a Bloody Mary, a meal in itself!! Staff are welcoming and make you feel at home, perfect friendly service..

    Beautiful place with beautiful food, I have been coming here for brekkies/lunches with my best friend for a while and decided to make a reservation for Mother’s Day lunch with my mum and partner. The food was absolutely delicious, they forgot my coffee order but that was ok because it was a hectic Mother’s Day for hospitality workers and they corrected it and took it off my order. Overall I love this place and think it is such a hidden gem in the sunny coast.

    We didn’t have a very good experience. My husbands bacon was still cold and not cooked and we asked if we could have it heated and the waitress snatched the plate and didn’t say a word. Came back five minutes later and handed the plate back again without even saying sorry. And my husband was extremely nice as we have never asked for a plate to be taken back before. But it was inedible. And the coffee wasn’t very good :( We were also surrounded by dogs. We know this is something people enjoy but as someone who is highly allergic to dogs it wasn’t good for me. I think cafes need to ask patrons if they mind or if they would like to me moved away. Customers were literally having to walk over the dogs to get to their table. Dogs outside is fine but inside I feel needs to be reconsidered.
