Excellent winter menu! Wonderful cocktails! Always a great choice!
Very nice! Food is very good. Like the specials they have during the week. Loved the entertainment upstairs. Overall a nice evening
The Pines is a gem in Rehoboth! The service is great and the food is exceptionally good!
The service at the Pines is fantastic…as is the food. Always a great night out.
First time at the Pines and will definitely return. Excellent food, good vibe, nice people, attentive staff. We happened to be there the night of the steak special and it was delicious. 8 ounce filet cooked perfectly. Green beans were very good and seasoned perfectly. Brussel sprouts were also done very well with the garnish of thai peppers which added to the already terrific flavor. Will definitely return to sample other dishes on the menu as this may well be a chef to follow.
Food is fantastic. Staff is wonderful. We love the place and atmosphere is relaxing. We ate at the bar and Michael was great as always
Truly excellent food. The only negative thing is that none of the staff were wearing masks
Food was too salty. Didn’t know that we could not order off of normal menu. Dessert was the best thing we ate that night.
New Year's Eve and they had a fixed 5 course price menu. Food was excellent but a bit pricey at $95 per. Did not include drinks
Service and food were great, especially for New Year’s Eve, when most places charge a premium for rushed service and mass prepared food due to the holiday.
Food was incredibly delicious and the service was superior!! It was the perfect setting for New Years Eve dinner! Thank you to all of you!!!
The staff is always amazing. The food is yummy and there are tons of options to choose from.
We had a wonderful time with great food and ambiance!
Everything was fine. Just one negative mention. We were in a corner table and found it hard to enter & exit due to the legs of the table. A little squishy also. Good food, good friends, good service, good fun!
Our waitress was phenomenal and everything we ordered was delicious. Half price wine was an awesome bonus!
Wonderful evening had by all ! The food was excellent as was the cocktail and wine list :) Thanks for helping make my birthday great !
Jessi was fun and polite
We were seated outside, which I thought would be less than amazing, since everyone was inside. It was private and very cozy with three heaters, we had the front porch to ourselves and the meal was heavenly; love the filet and wine special, add shrimp and horseradish sauce!!!
Service was FANTASTIC and food (filet) was out of this world!
David, Tyler and the gang are great.,it’s always a fun experience.
Being new to the area, I’ve been trying out all the local restaurants. BUT I cannot resist dining at The Pines. The service is so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails are amazing… the Manhattan and Pear martini are my faves. The filet night is a great deal and prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and trendy. By far my favorite restaurant in Rehoboth.
The filet mignon was excellent and cooked just the way I liked it. The dining room was a little too noisy and better sound baffles is a good idea for the restaurant to look into.
Monday night steak specials are such a deal - the place is usually packed for the filets that are perfectly cooked to order every single time. One of our favorites in Rehoboth Beach!
Good Food, excellent service and a couple of nice surprises.
We were dining out on our first day of retirement. Yes, two of us retired on the same day. One retired from self-employment, but the other from corporate—this was really the reason we came.
Thursday happens to be “Comfort Food Night”. The breaded, Milanese pork loin was fried to perfection—tender, crispy and not at all greasy like such a dish can be. It was served over mashed potatoes and green beans which were substituted for the usual Brussels sprouts. I chose the beef stroganoff—a giant mound of braised short rib and brandied mushrooms mixed into egg noodles and topped with crème fraiche. It was delicious but the portion was way too much to eat in one sitting.
Management saw the note on our Open Table reservation and made a point to stop by our table to congratulate us on our retirements. We thought that was enough, but they also picked up the cost of our dessert. It was a large rectangular slab of flan topped with an apple raisin compote. In my mind, this should not have worked, but it did. What a nice surprise on top of a surprise.
The Pines seems like it should be a bit darker, moodier than it is. The brighter than necessary lighting (although there were still a couple of people at one table who found it difficult to read the menu without using their phone light) took away from the ambiance that should have matched the great food a lot better. The lack of atmosphere was definitely made up for by the fantastic service we got from Casey, our server. He was attentive to our every need without hovering or intruding on our dining experience. He was even proactive. Having overheard us wondering what the catch of the day was, he simply came over and answered that question. And, remember the people using their phone to light the menu? When Casey saw that, he took small lamps from the wall and put them on their table to help.
Highly recommended. Ask for Casey. 👍🏼
Marty and Randal were fantastic. Our go to place Phenomenal food
Excellent food and great service, as usual. Always worth a visit.
This was the first time I've used one of the Open Table rewards certificates. It was pretty simple, although the waiter did need to take my phone to the manager to show it. Maybe next time I'll print it.
Excellent cocktails and food, we will definitely be back!!
The Pines is one of my favorite restaurants. Partly neighborhood hangout, partly summer tourist destination, partly late night lounge, partly theater… this place always has great food and drink. The bartenders are more mixologists and always willing to engage in conversation. A must stop in Rehoboth.
The food was of the best quality and artfully presented, it was cooked well, but it was just bland. We had shrimp dumplings that were overcooked on the bottom that had little taste, the halibut special that was good, but bland, and the seafood pot pie that was more exciting each bite. While I enjoyed the restaurant, I am think I will try other places before I return.
Good food and service; prices have increased recently. Not enough separation between tables for 2 and the bar. Too noisy for conversation even on a Monday night.
Great food, service and ambiance. Definitely recommend.
Good . A little bit noisy for our taste. Food was great, but hard to talk to each other.
This was our first visit to The Pines. We went for the Monday night Filet Special. We had a great waitress and the food was very good. We enjoyed everything and will be back again.
First time here and loved it!
Beautiful place, with great service, drink choices and menu selections!
I had the beef stroganoff, and it was fantastic!!
Can’t wait to return!!
Being new to the area our neighbors gave us the recommendation.
I took my wife for her Birthday and we we're both amazed with everything.
It was a perfect evening to finish off her Special Day.
After having made several attempts to reserve a table during the head of the season with our luck, I was able to get a table last night and there was not sorry it was worth the wait. Everything about this restaurant is superb. Highly recommend it
Excellent experience. Filet was cooked to perfection! Wine was delish! Staff was friendly and welcoming.
It was great . Tremendous value on Monday special
Always great place to eat, drink or be entertained. Went a few times recently. Twice for Comfort Thursday and last night for Filet and Wine. Steak was fine perfectly. Service outstanding. Had the banana pudding dessert. Try it....you'll love it!
