Delightful, delovely, delicious! It doesn’t matter why we ended up at NoMad at the right time on the wrong day. We were greeted with smiles, offered a fantastic table, and served with grace and charm. It’s not a bargain meal, but nothing of real value comes cheap.
Go. Enjoy. Go again!
Love the ambiance...the service was very good...the food was good as well although it is a very limited menu. Still will visit again and next time, will stay there as well.
The food and drinks are excellent. We had the hangar steak which was excellent, but the portions were smaller than when we were there about a month ago.
Roasted chicken was amazing
Very few food option , no surprise on the food
Great anniversary dinner! I love the ambiance and vibe of this place: 1920s hip vintage chic; classy with a book smart meets Casablanca vibe. The food is always on point, the cocktails are delicious, and service is top-notch. The little details make it an exceptional experience for me everytime. One of my favorite downtown spots for special occasions.
Great atmosphere. Interesting menu. An extensive wine and drinks menu/ list. Impressive. Service lagged at times, but otherwise it would get 5 stars all around.
I think that the Nomad Restaurant is probably now one of my top three favorite restaurants in LA, and definitely the best restaurant I have visited in the past year.
A fantastic ambiance, excellent drinks, great service, and well prepared plates.
1. Ambiance - The decoration of the main dining area is superb. My date and I sat in a room farther in the back, which itself was well laid out with about eight two-tops and two four-top setups.
2. Drinks - Had the Detox Retox and the Los Angeles Sour, both which were well mixed between sweetness and alcohol. My date thought the drinks were excellent, which to me indicates they were well made.
3. Service - The server was attentive and thoughtful. It is a welcome experience because I have had poor service high end restaurants, which I have never understood.
4. Dinner - The Grilled Calamari and Hangar Steak are excellent. First time that I have had calamari that is not fried. Hangar steak was tender and cooked medium rare.
Def. recommend for casual meeting or date or gather around. The staff was attentive and the food was excellent.
We love this restaurant. The roasted chicken and the Nomad version of Peking Duck are both to die for.
The service (including the hostess staff) is attentive, knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional. The space is gorgeous.
A perfect night and an even better meal! We will keep coming back!!
Birthday all good
It was my moms bday. Everything was excellent. The only negative was that we waited a while before our server came to our table. We were in the restaurant for about 45 min before we got served! The food was amazing though! I was dissapointed that they didnt mention or brought my mom a little something for her bday.
Best service , ambiance and decor . I just couldn’t get enough of it . The price point wasn’t outrageous either for such great quality . The cocktails were scrumptious .
Wonderful.attentive service at every level- excellent for fun time with friends or a quiet, romantic evening with someone special.
Great Architecture and ambiance. Be sure to use the Restrooms downstairs. A true L.A. Landmark
The seafood was amazing, and the sun-chokes were the best I've ever had.
Gracious and friendly service, delicious and varied small plates, fun atmosphere. We will return.
We came for the legendary roasted chicken, one of the best and most beautifully presented restaurant dishes I've ever had. But California has banned fois gras so we got Plan B chicken. It was okay. Still a great cocktail bar and beautiful place, but I have to take it off of the "gotta go there" list in LA without that chicken. Thankfully, they still do it in Las Vegas in an even more gorgeous room.
Busy high end restaurant. Food was good, which is what you would expect at this price point. Staff really tried to accomodate...big plus...but we were there early enough even on a Friday night that it should be a given at this level. Would go back, great scene.
A great venue and innovative and very tasty food. Definitely worth a visit and will be interesting to see what Michelin brings in the next couple of weeks.
Service was pleasant, but not really present. Food was delicious, but it took them 45 min to make A burger.
We love the breakfast burrito and coffee here. We stayed at the hotel earlier this month for our wedding and first had it the morning after we got married. We loved the food so much that we returned on the last day of our honeymoon. Service could have been quicker, though.
Confusion over reservation, surly hostess accusing me of lying. Nasty waiter upset with questions about menu. Got better eventually through management. Food was good as expected. 1st 2x I was there previously, it was excellent. I dont know what happened. Sad...just sad. I expected better.
Wonderful lunch spot with a great vibe and good service!
Lovely! Enjoyed the meal, the ambience and the service.
The first time I went about a year ago, the food was absolutely incredible and memorable! This time, the food was still good but definitely not anything like what I had remembered before!
Had the burrata, cauliflower, scallops and drink called something like the nod. It was all delicious. At the pool bar I had the drink that comes inside the copper gnome. It was just as the bartender said, "interesting".
The restaurant is gorgeous, great for photos. Service was amazing. I will definitely be back. It's a new favorite spot now for DTLA. The view from the rooftop bar is one of the best downtown. Stunning restaurant and views!
NoMad was great! There was 2 of us so we shared the hanger steak, fried chicken and french fries. Steak was delicious and we couldn't even finish the steak or fries. Their dirty martinis are awesome and the wait staff was really attentive and nice. Overall, I'd definitely go back. It's more of a special occasion or after-work drink place.
Beautiful atmosphere and yummy food. Peoperdele pasta, pea tart and asparagus were our favorites.
Love the restaurant, the menu, the food -- everything made for a wonderful evening with friends.
The ambience is fantastic. The food preparation was delicate and creative. Service was efficient and understated.
Little sloppy with wine pouring and table service
But love the vibes
Sons graduation from USC!
The overall ambiance and decor are fantastic. It's an old bank building and has a a very cool retro vibe. The food was delicious - we just had a bad waiter that day so our service was very slow. Make sure to check out the restrooms and the rooftop bar!
The entire environment speaks to an extraordinary experience. Fabulous!
Love Nomad. Beautiful innovative ingredients and loads of interesting flavors. It's never boring. However, while I personally appreciate healthy option, I wish they had provided a few fuller options beyond the burger and chicken sandwich. They really don't have much for lunch, esp since removing that prefixed option. I need to go for dinner. I'm sure they have a wider selection.
It felt intimate sitting there for lunch, with great decor, and not overdone!. We all loved our food (lunch) and wine, and the service was good. I would definitely go back!
I went there for brunch with my friends. The host was very nice but our server was just ok. It should be an improvement for the restaurant that sit in a five star hotel.
Food was decent. But woukd give a 5/5 to an inteior tho. It is very cute. Good for an instagram spot 🙂
Took my Parents as a Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The whole building is beautiful, we had drinks at the bar before hand that were beautifully made, balanced and delicious followed by an exceptional meal in the restaurant. The milk& honey desert is a must have. Thank you!
