Great little place, with an even better seating nook out the back. The Fried Chicken Benny was delicious, the Waffle OK, and the coffee good. Really wanted the Panna cotta but wasn’t available. Neat little menu but not extensive. Hip little eatery and would recommend to try.

The laneway seating is a great touch. Also pet friendly...

Terrible service. Seated at a dirty table, no water brought to the table, no explanation that the menu was online only, coffee arrived only moments before food. Coffee was great food was extremely average. The "black sticky rice" was crunchy and undercooked and inedible, the strawberries had clearly been pre cut and stored for an extended time as they had gone white and tasted like fridge. Extremely disappointing. What was worse is that they staff never cleared the plates before we left... we sat for an extended time. Overall one of the worse cafe experiences in a long time.

Food was fantastic, coffee was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be going back!

I ordered the build it yourself breakfast which was great, bacon was amazing. My friend however ordered the waffles, and commented they were pm the dry side.

Service could have been better and more attentive- there were at least 3 wait staff for 10 tables or so and it was a struggle to get anyone's attention to refill our water or get any further coffee orders.

I was very disappointed to visit with cafe. I'd read the reviews on Google and was excited to give it a try. The menu sounded really nice but most of the food was quite dry and we had felt like each dish need one or two more components to balance out the flavours. The waffles especially were really dry and the accompaniments that were served with it didn't work. Would have been nice if they had a couple of lunch items available as well considering they were open till 2.

Really excellent menu & definitely well priced. It is a little awkward/confusing to get into, but certainly worth it once you find it. Most of the staff were very friendly.

The cafe isn’t open Monday’s yet we were able to book on open table.. we arrived at the restaurant after a 15 min walk on my birthday to find it closed. Very poor

Venue is really nice. Food was amazing. Only let down was the service. No host so it’s confusing when you arrive and most of the staff did not acknowledge anyone at the door. Once seated, the staff seemed poorly trained in basic waiter skills. So many missed opportunities so upsell more drinks. Tables left uncleared. It’s a shame because you have potential to be so good. Just invest in training your front of house staff to be as good as your kitchen staff and you will do well.

Beautiful food but the noise and waiters staring into their iPads instead of giving eye contact means we won’t be coming back, but would do takeaway.

Great food and coffee. One of the best brunches I've had in Brisbane, if not THE BEST. Service was a bit haphazardly, with outdoor seating in a wind tunnel, making it very hard to enjoy the exceptional food.

I came back with my boyfriend to give this place a go after poor service delivery when it first opened.
We reserved and met our booking, were seated, then asked to have coffees and breakfast along the wall seats to, "prioritise and influencer for the lighting".

Food was presented beautifully but lacked taste and the coffees were really nice. A shame.

Minutes for an order to be taken then an hour and a half for meals . Had a coffee made on cows milk when asked for an alternative due to food allergies . Good came out cold . Got a coffee free of charge didn’t really

A great cafe in the heart of Fortitude Valley. You must try the Fried Chicken Benedict dish. Amazing! Great coffee and friendly staff too! I've been a couple of times now and was impressed on both occasions. Make sure you reserve a spot inside though. It gets a bit breezy in the laneway seating section.

Very polite and helpful staff. So friendly. Waited 35 mins for avo on toast. Wasn’t anything special. Great vibe and atmosphere but food is average. Amazing coffee however - go for coffee !!

Fantastic food, always just that little bit different, very tasty and very pleasing to the eye. Great service, very friendly and attentive staff, would highly recommend this place.
Looking forward to trying the evening session, keep up the good work.
